I'm not satisfied as such. The potential I have is yet to come through. Hopefully it will happen soon. What I can say is I've gained vital experience this season. I learnt a lot from the IPL matches I played and still have much to learn.

I think the coaching staff we have has also done a very commendable job. They backed each player and made the plans. Our job was to execute those plans. Especially (team mentor)

I can't complain. I want to stay till the end.
Your father was a national volleyball player and physical education teacher.
Did you ever think of becoming a volleyball player?
No, from the beginning my interest was in cricket. My father was a very good volleyball player. I played that game a lot as well. Initially my height was short, so he insisted I play volleyball to grow tall! Playing volleyball helped me improve my fitness as well, and helped in cricket too.

The heartbreaking incident happened as fans gathered to see their beloved Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team celebrate their first-ever IPL title win. RCB defeated Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final by 6 runs last week to win their maiden trophy after 18 long years. The team flew from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru via a chartered flight the next afternoon to celebrate the victory with their fans. Upon arrival, the RCB team was taken to the hotel, and from there, they went straight to the Vidhana Soudha for a felicitation ceremony by the Karnataka state government.
