Uorfi Javed opened up about dating a Delhi-based man, revealing that she flies almost every weekend to meet him.
Reality star Uorfi Javed recently confirmed she is in a relationship with her Delhi-based boyfriend, and that she makes frequent weekend trips to visit him. She mentioned that he is very shy, doesn't have any Instagram posts, and prefers to stay away from the social scene, unlike her, who loves socialising. She also revealed how they first met at a time when he was in talks for an arranged marriage elsewhere. Although nothing was finalized, she joked that she ended that match after they met.
In a chat with Mashable India, Uorfi said that her boyfriend is 6'4". When asked about her long-distance relationship, she stated that the distance isn't much since it's just a two-hour flight, and she visits him every weekend. She humorously noted that if paparazzi appear there, he would run away. 'I didn't go this weekend because I just got back. I had stayed there for a week, so I skipped this weekend. But mostly, I'm there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I come back on Monday. There's no paparazzi scene in Delhi — that really bothers me. Someone bring the paps there, please! But then he'll run away. He won't even step out with me. He doesn't like all this. He's very, very shy. He has zero posts on Instagram. His digital footprint is nothing. And mine is huge," she said.

She explained that they met by chance, adding that he was earlier considering an arranged marriage. 'We just happened to be at the same place at the same time," she said. She further added, 'Coincidentally kahi mil gayi thi. We just happened to be at a place at the same time. Uski shaadi ki baat kahi aur chal rahi thi, arrange marriage. Maine shaadi tudva di uski. But uska kuch final nahi hua tha, vo bas milne gaya tha. (We met completely by coincidence. He was involved in talks for an arranged marriage elsewhere. I ended that marriage proposal. But nothing was finalized; he had just gone to meet the girl)."
Recently, Uorfi caught attention for her candidness in a video showing her extremely swollen lips after dissolving lip fillers she had for nine years. While some mocked her, many praised her for being genuine and accepting her unfiltered self.
Uorfi won the first season of Karan Johar-hosted reality show The Traitors alongside Nikita Luther, and they both took home Rs 70 lakh in prize money.

Geno Smith goes viral for giving middle finger to Seahawks fans who compared him to JaMarcus Russell

T Tired of too many ads? go ad free now here's preseason drama, and then there's Geno Smith and DE Maxx Crosby marching into a stadium, flipping off the former fanbase, and setting social media ablaze before kickoff. During what should've been a quiet Raiders vs. Seahawks warm-up game, things went from 0 to spicy when a fan decided to bring the ultimate insult to the tailgate party, a sign reading 'Bigger bust — Geno or JaMarcus Russell?' Geno saw it and let's just say, he responded with exactly one finger. And now the internet is fully in their feelings. A brutal sign sparked a brutal response from Geno Smith and Maxx Crosby So here's what went down, as Geno Smith made his entrance into Lumen Field, a group of Seahawks fans greeted him with more than just the usual boos. One fan held up a savage sign that instantly triggered NFL Twitter, 'Bigger bust — Geno or JaMarcus Russell?' Smith didn't just glance and ignore it. Nope, he delivered a middle finger salute right at the crowd along with Maxx Crosby, captured in crystal-clear video and instantly reposted across Reddit, X, and Instagram. And that gesture? It was trending within the hour. No word yet from the NFL on whether a fine is coming their way, but let's be honest, this was less about league protocol and more about a player hitting back at a narrative that refuses to die. The 'bust' insult hits different when Geno's whole career has been a comeback To understand why Geno reacted the way he did, you've gotta look at the bigger picture. The man's been through it, a second-round pick who flamed out with the Jets, bounced between backup gigs, and didn't start a full season for years. But then 2022 happened, he came back as the Seahawks starter, threw for over 4,000 yards, and won NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Not to mention, he replaced and actually played better. So yeah, being compared to JaMarcus Russell, widely considered one of the biggest draft busts in NFL history, might've felt like a slap in the face. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Especially when he's already rewritten his own story. And the irony? He did it in Seattle, the very city now clowning him from the stands. Fans are hilariously divided, some love the energy, others say 'relax, it's preseason' It didn't take long for the internet to go full NFL roast mode. NFL Fans React to Geno Smith Flipping Off Seahawks Crowd Before Preseason Game Meanwhile, Seahawks fans are doubling down, insisting the sign was just 'trolling' and that Geno should've had thicker skin. Others think the whole thing proves he's still holding onto old grudges especially given that it's only preseason. It may have been a preseason game, but Geno Smith treated that sign like it was fourth-and-goal. In one split-second reaction, he reminded Seattle fans that he saw the hate and wasn't about to let it slide. Also read -

Goa govt mulls tweaking law to allow amplified music after 10pm

Porvorim: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said govt will examine the possibility of tweaking the law to allow amplified music beyond 10pm in the state in a bid to boost tourism and provide relaxation for Goan weddings. Govt will file a review petition in Supreme Court to allow such music beyond 10pm, Sawant said, and added that he will direct police not to stop music played indoors beyond 10pm. 'We cannot bypass SC order, and we will do whatever possible to allow music beyond 10pm considering the law,' Sawant, who also holds the home portfolio, told the House. The state has the power to relax the rules for 15 days to allow music beyond 10pm, and govt is deciding on those days, he said. Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai said he has raised this issue in the interest of Goans having weddings and those running restaurants. He said the CM wrote a letter suggesting that music played at 70 decibels should be allowed between 10pm and 1am, but was told that it was not possible. 'Has govt given up on this issue?' Sardesai asked. In response, law minister Aleixo Sequeira said govt has consulted senior lawyers in Delhi to file a review petition in the SC to allow music at night. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cargo Ship Meets Pirates - Watch What the Captain Does Next! Tips and Tricks Undo Sardesai said that when he visited Bengaluru, he saw that parties continued till 1am despite the law being the same. He noted that in his budget speech, the Karnataka CM assured to keep establishments open. 'If Karnataka can do it, why can we not allow it?...Will (Goa) govt allow restaurants, shacks, and open-air venues to play music until midnight?' he asked while seeking CM's intervention in the matter. Sardesai further said state govt has lost Rs 1,600 crore in revenue due to the 10pm restriction on amplified sound and demanded that the CM make a statement that music at weddings will be allowed until 1am. 'If we can keep establishments open until 1am, we can examine this. We don't have a problem allowing music until 1am for weddings, but we have to have a look at the law,' Sawant said and noted that in Goa, govt faces problems from NGOs who file cases. Bicholim MLA Chandrakant Shetye urged govt to decide on the days it can relax the rules to allow amplified music beyond 10pm. Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira said govt must first amend the music ban notification and forward it to Centre for consideration before filing a review petition in the SC. Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral said govt should issue directions to the police to not stop music played indoors. Stay updated with the latest local news from your city on Times of India (TOI).
