Olivia Rodrigo's 'Sour' And 'Guts' Albums Climb Everywhere
Olivia Rodrigo's Sour and Guts climb on four U.K. charts each this week, proving her albums remain ... More strong sellers and streamers—even without new music. It's been a minute since Olivia Rodrigo dropped new music. The Grammy winner is currently in between album cycles, with no exciting singles or upcoming releases to promote. But unlike so many of her peers, Rodrigo doesn't need to push new material to stay on the charts, especially in the United Kingdom. Both of her full-lengths are still popular sellers and streaming successes, and this week the two titles are on the rise.
In just a few short years, Rodrigo has managed to accomplish what many artists spend decades chasing. She's only released two albums under her own name — Sour and Guts — and both have become staples, as neither project faded after its initial promotional run. They've continued to sell and stream exceptionally well long after the promotional cycle ended.
This week, both Sour and Guts appear on four different tallies in the U.K., showing up on every major album ranking that tracks consumption, streaming, and pure sales. Not only are they still present, but in all four instances, they're also rising. On half of those lists, the sets land inside the top 40.
Of the two titles, Guts stands out as the higher-performing effort this frame, which isn't entirely shocking, given that it's the newer release. The sophomore full-length rockets to No. 25 on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts.
Even on the sales-only lists, where older material often drops off faster, Guts continues to hold its own. The set lifts to No. 46 on the Official Physical Albums chart and No. 47 on the Official Albums Sales ranking.
Not far behind Guts is the project that started it all. Sour, Rodrigo's debut, is also living comfortably inside the top 40 on a pair of rankings. It jumps to No. 26 on the Official Albums Streaming chart and improves to No. 28 on the Official Albums roster.
At the same time, the older title pulls off a significant leap on both purchase-based charts. Sour rises more than 20 spots on the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales rankings, pushing to Nos. 48 and 49, respectively.
Even though Guts claims the higher peaks this frame, Sour is the winner when it comes to long-term success. The debut recently passed 200 weeks on both the Official Albums and the Official Albums Streaming charts. It's also closing in on that same milestone on the two sales-based lists.
Guts, by comparison, is in a distant second place. So far, it has spent 83 frames on each of the four U.K. rankings it appears on this week, and, based on how high it currently sits, it will likely continue to add to that sum for months, and maybe years to come.

We Found Olivia Rodrigo's Exact Polka Dot Micro Shorts
Is there anything Olivia Rodrigo can't do? Before checking major milestones like "headline a major U.S. festival" and "collaborate with rock legend David Byrne of The Talking Heads" off her bucket list at last weekend's Governors Ball in New York City, she also further cemented her fashion icon status by nailing not one, but two of the summer's biggest trends in one budget-friendly outfit. Ahead of her headlining performance on Saturday, O-Rod was spotted strutting around NYC in a pair of linen polka dot micro shorts from Reformation. Not only is her exact pair somehow still in stock (although some sizes seem to be going fast!), they're just $98, so you can copy Olivia's look without blowing your budget. While the Sour songstress completed her ensemble with a rugged pair of biker-inspired boots to match her edgy aesthetic, it's easy to incorporate polka dots into preppy, classic, or vintage-inspired outfits, too. Dare we say it's one of the most versatile patterns out there? Not to mention, this isn't the first time the Grammy winner has been spotted wearing polka dots, further proving it's one of this year's hottest trends. If you're more into the micro shorts trend than polka dots, the Ref shorts come in solid colors, too. We've seen everyone from Dua Lipa to Daisy Edgar Jones and Dakota Johnson wear itty-bitty shorts, so it was only a matter of time before Olivia jumped on the trend. And spoiler alert: During her performance later that night, she wore yet another pair of hot pants, this time in a bold red complete with studs. If you're inspired to steal Liv's look but not inspired to dish out $98, we found more polka dot shorts in a variety of cuts starting at just $9. Looking for a denim version? We're big fans of the larger dots on this pair from ASOS. And while there are plenty of similar micro shorts available, we're also loving this longer style, ideal for Old Hollywood-inspired looks. Olivia Rodrigo, Benson Boone, FEID, and More Brought the Best Performances to Gov Ball 2025
As the temps start rising into a blistering summer heat and our speakers turn up a few decibels, that can only mean one thing: festival season is officially upon us. Whether you hit the grounds to discover new artists, try some next-level bites, or pull up in your best outfits, music festivals are the best place to hang out and build a community. All of the above were accomplished at New York City's very own Governors Ball, as its return to Flushing Meadows Corona Park marked its 15th anniversary and gave us an extra reason to pull up and celebrate. The festival felt like a perfectly curated soundtrack to our summer—with headliners like Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier offering set after set of jaw-dropping energy. Even with weather delays smack in the middle of the festival, crowds formed for their fave artists, and every genre found its spotlight: T‑Pain brought on some Y2K nostalgia, Clairo serenaded festival goers in the soft rain, and indie's rising star stole the hearts of newfound fans. Whether you were vibing through Benson Boone's backflips or bouncing with The Beaches, the energy was seriously contagious. It's no wonder Gov Ball has been New York's must-see festival for 15 unstoppable years, and of course, some of Cosmo's editors were on the grounds to witness it all and gush about the best sets from Gov Ball's 2025 lineup.
