Kartik Aaryan declares love for Croatia in new BTS pics from Tu Meri Main Tera sets
Actor Kartik Aaryan shared behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of his upcoming film in Croatia. He is currently shooting for a romantic drama, titled 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri', alongside actor Ananya Panday. The actor expressed his love for the city while posting the photos online. The actor uploaded a series of photos to his Instagram account. The first photo showed Kartik casually posing with a box of eggs. A couple of other photos showed the streets and sunsets of Hvar, whereas some photos gave a glimpse of the cast and crew of the upcoming film. The film will be released in theatres during Valentine's Day, on Feb 13, 2026. It marks their second collaboration after 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', which was released in 2019.
'Tu Meri Main Tera Mein Tera Tu Meri' is directed by Sameer Vidwans, written by Karan Shrikant Sharma and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures.Interestingly, the film is also seen as an end of an alleged feud between Karan and Kartik, which started after the latter was dropped from 'Dostana 2'. Karan recently addressed the speculations in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama and said they internally discussed it and worked it out. He asked everyone to let bygones by bygones and praised Kartik's hardwork.The producer said he and Kartik have had issues with each other, but it is a tiny, family-like industry. In a recent interview with The Indian Express, the actor stated that he even requested director RS Prasanna to cast Farhan Akhtar in the movie. 'To be honest, after Laal Singh Chaddha, I was quite depressed, heartbroken, and emotionally battered because I hadn't had an unsuccessful film in very long. It was quite shocking for me because I'd also liked the film. So I was very surprised that people didn't like it," he said. The 60-year-old actor went on to reveal the reason behind saying yes to the film. He stated, 'I told Prasanna and writer Divyanidhi Sharma we'd discuss the script for a week before the prep once we lock everything. In the first half hour of the first day, as Divya was reading the script, I was telling myself, 'Tell me, why are you not doing this film again? It's a superb script yaar.' So I thought ye toh gadbad ho gayi yaar. And some time had also passed, so I'd recovered from Laal Singh Chaddha being a flop."
