Heartbreak that returns
The loss is even more painful for the family because it brings back memories of a past tragedy. Ravi Teja's younger brother, Bharath Raju, died in a car accident a few years ago. Now, with the passing of their father, the family finds itself once again surrounded by grief.

Back in 2021, on Father's Day, Ravi Teja posted a warm picture with his father and son — three generations in one frame. Ravi Teja captioned the post, "Happy Fathers Day." That photo, simple as it was, now holds far more weight. It's a memory, a keepsake, and a tribute to the quiet man behind the scenes.
Details about the funeral and cremation are yet to be officially shared. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja's 'Mass Jathara' is directed by Bhanu Bhopavarapu, and it promises a high-voltage action entertainer which will surely please the fans. Not a singer or an actress, but this superstar's granddaughter became a tarot reader, she once trained with Shah Rukh Khan, her name is...
In a world where legacy often writes your path, Vrinda Ganguly chose to break away. While her grandfather Kishore Kumar ruled Bollywood's golden era with hits in both acting and singing, and her father Amit Kumar carried forward the family's musical heritage, Vrinda walked off the stage — quite literally. She's not a playback singer, not an actress, and doesn't chase the spotlight. She reads energies instead — as a tarot card expert and spiritual mentor. And no, this wasn't a fallback career. It was a conscious choice. What was her connection to Bollywood? Vrinda's Bollywood link isn't just by blood. She trained at Barry John's acting studio — the same place that gave India Shah Rukh Khan. Technically, that makes her SRK's junior. But the arc shifted. In 2017, she decided she didn't want the screen. She wanted silence, intuition, and a space far removed from film sets. So what does she do now? Today, Vrinda Ganguly runs her own YouTube channel — VriEvolution . With a modest but growing base of subscribers, she shares tarot insights, spiritual guidance, and healing practices. Her presence spills onto Instagram and Facebook, where her aura speaks louder than legacy. And no — she isn't hidden in robes or clichés. Friends say she looks no less than any actress, but that isn't her calling. Tarot is. What about her family? Vrinda is the elder daughter of Amit Kumar. While her younger sister Muktika chose music, Vrinda took a path the family never expected — yet fully embraced. She's Kishore Kumar's granddaughter, but more importantly, she's her own person. In a world chasing fame, she chose inner fire. While most star kids run toward the arc lights, Vrinda turned inward. And maybe that's what makes her story quietly iconic — in a way Kishore Kumar would've probably smiled at.

Film shootings come to halt in Hyderabad due to workers strike
Last Updated: Hyderabad, Aug 5 (PTI) Most of the film shootings in Hyderabad came to a halt with workers demanding a 30 per cent wage hike. The representatives of the workers on Tuesday met labour department officials regarding their demands. Alexander, a leader of the workers, told PTI Videos that the hike is not 30 per cent at once, but 10 per cent annually, which is due this year. However, the hike has not been effected since the last four months, he alleged. Damodar Prasad, Secretary of Telugu Film Chamber, told PTI that the workers 'unilaterally" decided two days ago to work only for producers, who pay them the increased wages though talks are on going with the involvement of the labour department. He observed that the Telugu film industry already pays higher wages to union workers than other state film industries. The stance of the producers is that talks would continue if the workers 'unconditionally" resume work, he said. Efforts were on to end the stalemate, he said, expressing confidence that the issue would be resolved soon. Producer C Kalyan told reporters that several film producers met superstar Chiranjeevi, who suggested that the issue be resolved harmoniously in another two-three days.
