Hollywood star
Jon Bernthal
will reprise his fan-favourite Marvel character of The Punisher in Tom Holland-led "Spider-Man 4".
The actor, known for featuring in movies such as "The Wolf of Wall Street", "Sicario", "The Accountant", "Baby Driver", "Ford v Ferrari" and "The Many Saints of Newark", will feature alongside Holland, who is reprising his character of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, which he played in several MCU movies.
Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also returning as MJ and Ned in the fourth chapter, which is officially titled "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", according to entertainment news outlet The Hollywood Reporter.
The story takes place after the events of the previous movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021), in which the entire world knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man and then had that knowledge erased.
Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the feature, which will shoot in England this summer.
The movie will be released in the US theatres on July 31, 2026.
Bernthal first took on the role of Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher, in 2016, debuting in the second season of Netflix's "Daredevil" and owing to his popularity, he was rewarded with his own solo series. The two shows and many other Marvel-centric projects were cancelled by Netflix in 2019.
He made a return with the character in Marvel Studios' most recent series "Daredevil: Born Again".

Before Squid Game season 3 drops, here's what went down in season 2
Squid Game season 2 recap: Squid Game is gearing up for its third and final season, set to wrap up the intense survival saga with a gripping conclusion. As viewers await long-overdue answers to the show's biggest questions, Squid Game season 3 is expected to deliver plenty of suspense, twists, and emotional moments. But before we jump into what lies ahead, here's a quick refresher on the major events and surprises from Season 2 to help you remember how things left off. Squid Game season 2 recap In Squid Game Season 2, Gi-hun uncovers the shocking truth about Player 001, Oh Il-nam was not a helpless old man, but the wealthy mastermind behind the deadly games. As Gi-hun decides to return to the game, the Front Man also enters the arena, this time under the alias 'Young-il.' This new identity is deeply influenced by his past as In-ho, a former police officer who lost his wife to liver disease. Years earlier, he had donated a kidney to his half-brother Jun-ho, which meant he couldn't do the same to save his wife. A conversation between Jun-ho and their stepmother reveals this painful history. Meanwhile, viewers are introduced to No-eul (Park Gyu-young), who at first appears to be a potential contestant, but is later revealed to be a pink guard and expert sniper. Determined to end the games, Gi-hun teams up with detective Jun-ho. They plan to stay connected through a tracker hidden in Gi-hun's fake tooth. However, they lose contact once Gi-hun is taken back into the game, prompting Jun-ho and his team to continue the search by boat. During the mission, one of Jun-ho's men catches Captain Park tampering with a surveillance drone. To silence him, the captain kills the crew member and pretends the disturbance was caused by rough waves. Inside the arena, Gi-hun's close friend Jung-bae becomes an unintended victim, unaware that 'Young-il' is actually the Front Man. After staging his own death, the Front Man resumes command, orders the guards to crush the rebellion, and dons his signature black cloak and mask once again. In the final moments, Gi-hun and Jung-bae surrender, only for the Front Man to execute Jung-bae in front of Gi-hun to destroy his last shred of hope. The season closes on a devastating note, with Gi-hun injured and emotionally shattered, sobbing beside his fallen friend. When will Squid Game season 3 release? Squid Game season 3 will be released on 27th June 2025 on Netflix.

Fortnite and Squid Game collaboration: Skins, map, and new Pink Guard trailer revealed
Fortnite is getting its biggest crossover yet with the release of Squid Game Season 3. Epic Games and Netflix have teamed up for a full takeover of Fortnite Reload mode, and it kicks off on Friday, June 27, the same day the final season of Squid Game drops on Netflix. And yes, we're finally getting that iconic Pink Guard in-game. New 'Squid Grounds' map coming to Fortnite Reload The highlight of the collaboration is the brand-new Fortnite island called Squid Grounds. It's not just another point of interest—it's a full map designed specifically for Fortnite Reload, the game's fast-paced battle royale mode with respawns. Fortnite has taken down an unofficial Squid Game map after Netflix filed a DMCA complaint against the map 😳Strangely enough, within minutes of its release, the map was instantly placed in the best possible Discover row and reached nearly 70,000 concurrent players 🤔 This is the first time in Fortnite's history that an entire map in a core mode has been made for a single collaboration. While Epic hasn't revealed exactly how gameplay might change on Squid Grounds, leaks suggest it could feature locations and twists inspired by the hit Netflix series. So expect familiar environments and maybe some deadly challenges. Skins galore: Guards, Contestants & the Creepy Doll Squid Games x Fortnite Skins‼️#Fortnite We're getting a full set of Squid Game skins in the item shop. Here's what's expected: Five male and five female default Fortnite characters wearing green contestant track suits (you can choose their number). Red and black guard skins, complete with customizable face mask icons. A towering skin modeled after the Red Light/Green Light animatronic doll. So far, none of the main Squid Game characters (like Gi-hun or the Front Man) are part of the skin lineup, which some fans find disappointing. But collectors and fans of the show will definitely want to grab them. New trailer: Pink Guard joins the chaos Take note from this Supervisor, play Reload. Squid Game in Fortnite - June 27. Along with the collaboration, Fortnite dropped a new short trailer featuring the Pink Guard playing Fortnite. It's a fun, surreal twist on the character, showing him blasting away like a pro. It's also the first real tease of the vibe the Squid Game event might bring deadly games, strange rules, and a ton of mayhem. How much will the Squid Game skins cost? All we know Prices haven't been confirmed, but Fortnite skins like these typically start around 1,200 V-Bucks. Since they're not tied to real-world celebrities or characters, they could stay within that range. But if Epic bundles them, expect to pay more. And remember, based on Fortnite's track record, these skins probably won't stay in the shop for long. Event launch and timing Mark your calendars: Event starts: Friday, June 27 Map and skins release: Same day as Squid Game Season 3 Mode: Fortnite Reload Whether you're a fan of the show or just love unique cosmetics and new maps, this crossover is shaping up to be one of Fortnite's biggest.
