Last month eight people were found guilty after US reality star Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week in 2016. The American businesswoman and social media icon was in her hotel room when masked men dressed in police uniforms burst in, in a late-night attack. Kim recounted that they snatched her engagement ring, worth $4 million, then 'picked me up off the bed and grabbed me and took me down the hallway to look for more jewellery'.
One of the men held a gun to her back, her mouth was gagged, her hands and legs were bound and she was terrified she was going to die. They dumped her in the bathtub, took the jewellery and ran out of the suite. In the immediate aftermath, there were debates about how much information the criminals had got from her social media posts, and some accused her of staging the robbery as a publicity stunt.

Set against the backdrop of the recent trial at the Palais de Justice in Paris, The Kim Kardashian Diamond Heist (Wednesday 25th June, BBC Three, 9pm) rakes over what happened, unpacking the details of that night and also the aftermath. Through first-hand testimonies from investigators who worked the case, friends of the family and reporters who have followed the case from the start, it explores how the crime was carried out, the psychological impact it had on Kim Kardashian and the international investigation that led to the arrest of a group dubbed the 'grandpa robbers' - career criminals in their 60s and 70s.
The Kim Kardashian Diamond Heist is airing on BBC Three tonight at 9pm.

LONG LOST FAMILY: BORN WITHOUT TRACE, ITV1, 9pm
On a cold night in November 1970, a baby thought to be less than two days old was found on the steps outside the maternity wing of a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. Tina is blown away when the production team tracks down both her birth mother and father, who had other children. But will they want to make contact? In a second story, Jon was discovered in September 1984 wrapped in a blanket inside a Co-Op shopping bag in the disabled toilet of a Milton Keynes leisure centre car park. His placenta was still attached and three teenage girls found him. Expect some tearful discoveries.
AMOL RAJAN GOES TO THE GANGES, BBC1, 9pm
Since his beloved dad died three years ago, Amol reveals he's been 'in a bit of a funk'. So despite not being religious, he wants to reconnect with his Hindu roots, in the hope that being immersed in his father's faith helps him to move through his grief. The journalist and presenter travels to India on a deeply personal pilgrimage at the largest religious festival in history, the Kumbh Mela, that takes place every 12 years.
This year's Kumbh is a once-in-a-lifetime event due to a special alignment of the planets in the solar system, which last occurred 144 years ago. Amol joins over 500 million pilgrims from all over the globe with one goal - to bathe in the sacred waters where the Ganges, Yamuna and mystical Saraswati meet, to purify their souls and gain salvation. But the gathering is not without danger - on a bathing day when 70 million people arrive, there is a dangerous, fatal crush. Amid surging crowds and chaos, Amol must abandon his plans…

Things look bleak for Robert as he lies in the back of John's van while his killer brother contemplates his lifeless form with a syringe in his hand. Robert is terrified when he wakes up in the back of a van with no memory of how he got there. Joe panics when he realises that someone has been in his bedroom and stolen his autoimmune suppressant drugs. Sarah is stunned when Jacob offers to be the sperm donor for her baby.

Elaine has gone big for Patrick's party and when the Trueman-Foxes arrive, the ladies are horrified, but Patrick is delighted. Having fixed the mess she made, Nicola is ready to welcome the guests for the party. Billy and Honey try to get into the spirit, but there's a shock when Zack arrives. Harry is delighted when Nicola throws him out. Felix wants Bernie to give Johnny her seal of approval, unaware that he helped to cover up Keanu's murder.

Summer and Nina retrace their steps from the night before. Bernie apologises to Aadi and Asha for Brody's behaviour, hoping he didn't ruin the party. Debbie calls Kevin and makes out that she's staying at a spa hotel but as she hangs up, it's clear she's calling from a police station. Kit tells Sarah that he's definitely Brody's Dad. A worried Liam confides in Maria that Gary isn't answering his calls and he should have been back from his Mum's by now.
