All Emmerdale spoilers for next week as two new faces stir up trouble

Metro26-06-2025
Next week in Emmerdale, trouble is brewing as two new faces arrive.
Celia is played by Jaye Griffiths, and will be involved in a storyline involving Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), who ends up getting attacked by one of her dogs.
On Butlers Farm, Joe Absolom debuts as Ray, a drug dealer contacted by Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) about some weed plants growing in a barn.
Both characters are villainous ones, and will make a huge impact on multiple characters in their first few days.
Elsewhere, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) manages to get through to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), as they reach a decision together about Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) funeral.
Here's everything you need to know.
Paddy spots a sheep caught in a fence on Celia's farm. He rushes off to help but after, an aggressive dog approaches Paddy and attacks him. Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) rushes Paddy to hospital but later, he turns the life-threatening attack into an opportunity to assassinate his son's character.
Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) is shocked and hustles Bear out of the hospital room. When she gets back, Mandy tries to lift Paddy's spirits, but it's clear that his dad's words have seriously impacted him.
Elsewhere, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) agrees to attempt to get Lewis (Bradley Riches) to change his mind about selling the weed to a dealer, after Mackenzie reminds him that they're doing this to help Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) keep the farm.
In the pub, Lewis is grateful when Ross reaffirms his commitment to doing things Lewis' way but unbeknownst to them, Mack has already made contact with a drug dealer.
It's Paddy's birthday and he's returned from hospital. He welcomes Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) over, but he struggles to lift his mate's spirits. After Marlon leaves, Paddy gets a bolt gun from the vets' cabinet and heads out, ready to confront Celia.
When he gets on the land, though, Paddy quickly realises he is no match for the new face. When he returns, Paddy confronts Bear and unleashes his frustration. The argument ends with Paddy telling Bear to move out.
Meanwhile, Lewis discovers Ross has betrayed him by selling the weed. Newcomer Ray arrives, but Ross makes it clear he's in absolutely no mood to help Mack complete the deal.
Later though, Ross discovers the weed has gone, and he seemingly knows exactly who the culprit is. However, when Mack confirms he didn't sell it to Ray, Ross wonders if Lewis is holding enough weed to send him down for a long time. When Lewis gets back to Butlers, Ross realises that he didn't traffic the weed himself.
It leaves the trio with the realisation that someone has stolen the drugs to sell on the streets. More Trending
Elsewhere, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) is worried when Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) reveals that Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) is coming to their engagement party, while Sarah helps Cain see that Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) barring the Dingles from Nate's funeral gives them a chance to provide him with a proper family send-off instead.
Marlon's arranged an intervention in the forms of a lads day playing a zombie game.

Emmerdale legend released from prison as a shock decision is made

Joe Tate's (Ned Porteous) meddling has caused a feud to form between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) in Emmerdale. Joe was put in charge of Kim Tate's (Claire King) grand plan a few days ago. As she left for Dubai, Joe decided to focus on getting Butlers Farm from Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). He pounced on his prey after learning that Moira had received more bad news from the water company. Due to Moira being in a vulnerable position when Joe put forward the idea of her selling, it meant she was very tempted. Moira changed her mind on signing the contract when she discovered Joe had paid Noel from the water company to deliberately reject her appeal. She then faced a nightmare when two teens broke into a barn, and immediately thought that Joe was responsible for organising it. At Home Farm, Joe told Moira that his plans, as ruthless as they are, never involve putting children in danger. Moira didn't believe him and went to punch Joe, but poor Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) got in the way. Moira was arrested and taken to the station in this evening's episode and while this was happening, Cain was on the warpath. He found Lydia and told her to lie to the police if she got questioned about Moira hitting her. Lydia was unsure about this, but Cain threatened her and said she didn't have a choice. While Cain was playing bad cop, Joe took a different approach. He spoke to Lydia and Sam and said that he likes them both, and said Moira shouldn't get away with an act of violence. More Trending Moira ended up getting released from prison due to the complaint getting dropped. Unfortunately though, that wasn't the end of the matter. In the pub, Cain and Sam continued to argue. Cain felt frustrated over Sam's loyalty to the Tates, while Sam looked at his brother differently after his confrontation with Lydia. Cain told Sam that he needs to pick a side – and he chose the Tates…which is bound to just make things worse. Thinking of traveling solo? Tracee Ellis Ross has suggestions on how to do it well

Tracee Ellis Ross, the actor best-known for her roles in shows like 'black-ish' and ' Girlfriends,' happens to be single and without children, but she doesn't let either hold her back from experiencing a fulfilling, joyful life, especially when it comes to vacations. When friends and family can't join her, or if she just wants to decompress, Ross will jet-set by herself and have a fabulous time doing it. She says she takes at least one solo trip a year by herself, and if vacationing with others, might stay a little longer to include alone time. In a new three-part docuseries streaming on Roku Channel, 'Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross,' a camera crew follows the actor on solo trips to Marrakech, Morocco; Cancún, Mexico; and Marbella, Spain. Ross says her first solo travel experience was in her 20s, and she's learned over the years that even the uncomfortable moments of being by herself have given her coping skills for everyday life. 'What I find is that I gain a muscle strength around being uncomfortable," she told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "It's like when a baseball player swings with two bats, and then by the time they get to the one bat, it feels lighter. When you get back into your regular day life and uncomfortable things happen, I have muscle memory to know how to walk through this on my own." Ross shared tips to traveling as a party of one: Ease into it 'Start by going to dinner by yourself,' Ross says. 'And if you feel nervous about doing that, go to dinner by yourself on a Tuesday night at 6 o'clock and work your way up to going to dinner by yourself on a Saturday or Friday night at 8 o'clock. 'Walk up to the host and say, 'I need a table for one.' See what it feels like to be in that experience because it will only be that times 10 on vacation.' She suggests bringing something like a book or an iPad when you're eating alone, and also for when you're spending time in your room. That way, 'if you end up having to stay in your hotel room the whole time and only going to a restaurant in your hotel or somewhere just around the corner, you don't feel like you have ruined your trip and done something stupid.' Know why you're taking the trip Ross says there are different reasons for solo trips and you need to understand what yours is. 'Are you going on a solo trip because you're single and want to meet other people? Are you going on a solo trip because your life is overwhelmed with your children, your dogs, your cats, your job, your life, your survival, all the things, and you're going to have a moment to sort of recharge and get away by yourself? Or are you going for an adventure?' she asks. Once you've decided what kind of experience you're seeking, you can make plans to achieve it realistically and safely. Safety, safety, safety No matter how independent you are, certain kinds of travelers are more vulnerable than others, especially if they're by themselves, Ross notes. Take safety seriously when mapping out your itinerary. "You might not feel vulnerable, but depending on where you're going, it might leave you vulnerable. That's a very specific distinction and something to plan for in order to have a good experience," she says. 'If you are a Black woman, if you are a woman, if you are LGBTQIA, if you are non-binary, if you are differently abled — that might leave you vulnerable in a foreign place. Make sure you do the best diligence you can to make sure you're going somewhere that can create a sense of safety for you with whatever those vulnerabilities," she says. Ross prefers to travel to destinations with resorts where she can feel safe on her own. 'It allows me to not have to adventure off property,' she said. And she returns to places where she's found comfort 'all the time.' Research many other parts of the trip too Ross says she's a planner by nature and does a lot of research online. She also asks around for info about best navigating the experience from beginning to end. She likes to know whether particular airports are busy and what to expect when she gets there. If it's a big airport and there's a lot of walking, she makes sure she has comfortable shoes. She also will pack a personal fan if it's going to be hot. Knowing what to expect won't just lead to feeling prepared and comfortable in general but feeling prepared and comfortable by yourself.

Paddy McGuinness furious after he's refused entry to his own BBC Radio show

Paddy McGuinness has shared his frustration with listeners after revealing he was denied entry to his own radio show at the weekend. Paddy, 51, has been the host of his own programme on BBC Radio 2 every Sunday from 11am to 1pm since June last year. The presenter took over the role from Michael Ball and has been delighting fans on the airwaves for the last 13 months. Despite the length of the show, the star has revealed his frustration with the radio staff in the Salford studio as he revealed that they still don't recognise him after over a year. 'How long have we been doing this show? It's been over a year actually,' he said rhetorically to his listeners on Sunday. 'I'm just wondering when security are gonna know it's me.' He explained that it's not about vanity or fame, it's about practicality and trying to gain access to the building. 'I'm not even bothered about them recognising me off the telly, or anything I've done throughout my career. 'Just the fact that I come in every Sunday for a year and a bloke still wouldn't let me in this morning. 'Have you got your pass?' ''Pass?' I said: 'See that yellow chopper there, son, with 10 million quid stuck on top of it? I did that.' ''Ohhhhhh,' come on security, play the game!'' The news comes as Paddy and DJ Vernon Kay have returned to Celebrity Gogglebox. During a June episode, Paddy confessed to an unexpected celebrity crush that he says he wasn't supposed to have. 'There's something about Rachel Riley. I don't know what it is. You know when you have, like, a celebrity crush that you're not supposed to have?' he said in a recent episode. Vernon quipped: '[Rachel] is a [Manchester] United fan,' referencing the fact that Paddy and Vernon both support fellow Lancashire side Bolton Wanderers. More Trending 'Oh, I've gone right off her!', Paddy immediately shot back, jokingly deciding that Rachel's choice of football team was enough to kill his crush. Paddy was married to ex-wife Christine McGuinness (née Martin) between 2011 and 2024 – the couple had three children, including two twins, throughout the 13 years they were together. In 2022, it was announced that the couple had separated, but they would continue living in their family home together with 10-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and seven-year-old Felicity. The couple's divorce was finalised in 2024, but they still live in the same house to make things easier for their children, who are all autistic. Got a story?
