The arrogance of terrorism needs to be condemned

As sympathy is demanded for the Palestinians by the likes of E Essa and Alaa Nassar, I fail to understand how, when Hamas attacks Israel at a music festival, any sane person would demand such undeserved grace for the people of Gaza.
Israel gave the Gazans multiple chances before for the acceptance of democratic autonomy, but they blew it by electing the bloodthirsty Hamas Neanderthals who would act as proxies for the IRGC.
It is well documented that since 1979, the Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, always had one agenda in mind: suppression of his people, especially the women, and the destruction of Israel and so-called Zionism.
I am sorry, but reading some of the disturbing doctrine written by the Islamic government of Iran, involving young babies and the overall treatment of women, regarding sex-related dos and don'ts, shocked me to my core! It is no wonder that this ideology is causing so much havoc around the globe! This government cannot even honour its people! It is much like the ANC of South Africa! It doesn't hesitate to oppress. It only seeks its ideological advancements. It thrives on the demise of its people.
It forges ahead with reckless abandon. You only need to consider the ICJ case brought forward by none other than self-proclaimed Islamist, Naledi Pandor! What we see happening now in the UK, with so many Islamic ministers taking charge, is a full-on assault on Western civilisation.
The recent success of Zohran Mamdani in New York sends shivers down the spines of freedom-loving Americans, and so it should! Trump calls Mamdani a '100% Communist lunatic", and I am not surprised! Radical Islam, coupled with ongoing terror attacks on innocent civilians, should be a serious wake-up call to all who love freedom.
The longer we sympathise with false pro-Palestine propaganda, the further away we will find ourselves from the truth! Terror acts committed by the Proxies of Iran should be called out for exactly what it is: terrorism! We must stop fooling ourselves by trying to sympathise with a people who have little or nothing to do with South African people!

The mere fact that there are rumblings about the ANC having been compensated by either Iran or Qatar for taking Israel to court leaves a very bad taste in our mouths! Not to mention the changing of a street name in Sandton to some terrorist who is only celebrated by those who value acts of terror.
When are we going to learn that siding with terror and hiding behind the mask of a cause so falsified by socialist and Marxist tendencies only brings us pain and division? The ANC couldn't care less about Palestinians, but for the sake of its relationship with Iran's terror axis, it will pretend to care for as long as it benefits the status quo.
There has always been a golden thread running through and connecting nefarious characters through Marxist, socialist, and communist values.
The ANC and Iran are no exception! It doesn't mean you have to blow up a building to be a terrorist, but if you are happy, as a government, to continually oppress and socially divide your citizens according to either a racist or Apartheid-driven agenda, in my opinion, you are a Dystopian, Draconian empire!
Be careful of those who accuse you of Apartheid crimes, for too often, the accuser poses as the accused, and the oppressor poses as the oppressed. Is this what we are seeing with the pro-Palestine mobs who reside in South Africa?
Do you feel any better displaying your red, black, white and green sticker on the back of your Fortuner, as you speed arrogantly passed several respectful road users?
I have news for all those who chant death to the Jews, and disguise it as 'Free Free Palestine'- your time is running out, and the chickens for Justice are coming home to roost! The recent strength shown by Trump and the IDF was a warning to Draconian Radicalised governments that we won't give up the fight against terror just yet!
I may not be a Jew, nor am I a Zionist, but I still know the difference between right and wrong...the difference between propaganda and facts.....the difference between truth and lies.
I refuse to accept this narrative of Israel committing a 'Genocide', as what we saw on October 7th, 2023, was a mini Genocide, funded by Iran and backed up by ANC support!
Enough is enough! Let's fix SA before we say anything further about 'Freeing Palestine"

Security on high alert as Nigeria prepares to bury Buhari
ABUJA - Nigeria's former president Muhammadu Buhari was on Tuesday set to be buried in his hometown, as funeral preparations got underway under the watchful eyes of a hefty security detail. The former leader is set to be laid to rest in his family compound in the northwestern town of Daura, where chairs and tents have been set up in the courtyard to welcome mourners and his grave was being dug. The compound security was so tight that some extended family found themselves locked out, according to AFP journalists on the scene. Buhari, who died at the age of 82 in a London clinic on Sunday, ruled Nigeria first as a military putschist in the 1980s and then later as a self-described "converted democrat," serving two terms as president from 2013 to 2025. Residents of Daura have been making their way to his family home in Katsina state to pay their respects ahead of what is expected to be a traditional Islamic burial. But as his body made its way from England on Tuesday, a massive security presence was set up, cutting off what had been a bustling, buzzing house full of mourners over the past two days. Dozens of police and soldiers were guarding his family home Tuesday afternoon, while plainclothes officers patrolled inside. Deployed in advance of the politicians and other high-profile guests expected to attend, the heightened level of security was highly unusual for the typically sleepy town. Nigeria, particularly in the north, has for years suffered attacks from a jihadist insurgency and armed criminal gangs. Although he was elected on a mandate for change, Buhari's time in office failed to put an end to the violence. Family members locked out On Tuesday, security forces blocked the road to the family home, leaving mourners to make their way on foot. The main doors to the home were barred by armed troops, who were only letting in a handful of mourners. The only media access granted was to Nigerian state television, as well as the local Katsina state broadcaster. Even Buhari's family members found themselves locked out, including Fatima Isah, who said she was the ex-president's 78-year-old niece. "Buhari was my provider, but he is no more. To add to my torment, they have refused me entry," said Isah, in between sobs. A man who said he was the nephew of Buhari was denied access to the compound and hurled insults at the soldiers. "Are you the ones who are going to bury him?" he asked in a challenge to the guards, who ignored him. A security source told AFP that Buhari's remains will arrive by helicopter after landing at the Katsina airport. Mbalula: Mchunu to stay in parliament, ANC committee despite suspension
ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula. (X) ANC secretary general 'Comrade Senzo is a member of parliament, he belongs to parliament. He will attend parliament and will perform all the duties that are expected of him to perform as a member of parliament,' Mbalulat told a media briefing on Tuesday at the party's Luthuli House headquarters. His remarks came after President Cyril Ramaphosa suspended Mchunu on Sunday following corruption allegations against him by KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Mbalula said the ANC national working committee meeting, which took place on Monday, discussed the Mchunu matter. 'He didn't attend and he said [it was] because of a leave of absence. I will explain to him that the leave of absence does not apply to the ANC and his politics,' Mbalula said. He added that the party supported Ramaphosa's decision to suspend Mchunu from his cabinet post while an investigation was under way. The president has appointed the acting deputy chief justice, Mbuyiseli Madlanga, to chair the inquiry, with advocates Sesi Baloyi and Sandile Khumalo assisting. Ramaphosa has appointed former MP and respected legal academic Firoz Cachalia as acting police minister while the inquiry proceeds. Earlier this month, Mkhwanazi told a briefing in Durban that Mchunu had interfered with sensitive investigations and protected business person Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala. He also alleged that Mchunu had links with Matlala's associate, Brown Mogotsi, and that these ties influenced policing decisions in the province. The KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner said they had uncovered a syndicate involving politicians, metro police, correctional services, prosecutors, members of the judiciary and business people working with a drug cartel. On Tuesday, Mbalula said the ANC welcomed the inquiry as a legal and institutional process to deal with the allegations. 'This is not a moment for complacency,' he said. 'If left unaddressed, these allegations threaten to erode public trust in institutions meant to uphold the law.' Mbalula dismissed reports that the ANC's integrity commission had made findings against Mchunu. 'There has been no interaction between Comrade Senzo and the integrity commission. When it happens, it will follow proper procedure,' he said. He warned against spreading misinformation online and accused some of using the matter for political gain. Mbalula said Ramaphosa had shown consistency in upholding the law. 'The fight against crime and corruption will not be waged through expediency or grandstanding, but through lawful and transparent processes.' He cited the Zondo state capture commission and the Nugent commission on the South African Revenue Service as examples of how inquiries can lead to reform. 'These commissions exposed wrongdoing and informed legislative and structural reforms,' said Mbalula. Critics have, however, pointed out that no successful prosecutions have resulted from the work of the Zondo commission. Mbalula said the ANC continues to support the president's use of commissions where systemic failure or political interference has paralysed existing institutions. He added that the party had postponed its NEC meeting, which had been scheduled for this coming weekend, because preparatory reports were incomplete. 'The NEC was initially meant to focus on the national budget impasse, but its agenda has since expanded to include discussions on the government of national unity, the alliance with the South African Communist Party [SACP], the state of the organisation, and preparations for the national general council,' he said. A new date has not been confirmed, but the meeting is expected to sit for four to five days. The NEC will also consider the SACP's announcement that it may contest the 2026 elections independently. He said alliance consultations are nearly complete and that the ANC hopes to convene the alliance political council before the NEC meets.
