BrowserStack Launches Suite of AI Agents to Redefine Software Quality at Scale

Cision Canada30-06-2025
DUBLIN, /CNW/ -- BrowserStack, the world's leading software testing platform, today announced the launch of BrowserStack AI, a suite of AI agents integrated throughout the testing lifecycle to help software teams accelerate release cycles, improve test coverage, and boost productivity by up to 50%.
For most engineering teams, testing remains a major bottleneck. Analyzing requirements and writing effective test cases is time-consuming. Automated tests are often flaky or break with UI changes, requiring tedious maintenance. BrowserStack AI addresses these challenges with AI agents purpose-built for modern QA and development workflows.
"We looked at where teams spend the most time in testing, and reimagined it with AI at the core," said Ritesh Arora, CEO and Co-founder of BrowserStack. "Our early results are game-changing, the Test Case Generator delivers 90% faster test creation with 91% accuracy, something generic LLMs can't achieve."
Unlike generic copilots, BrowserStack AI agents are integrated into BrowserStack products, drawing context-aware insights from a unified data store across the testing lifecycle.
Starting today, teams can access five new agents:
Test Case Generator Agent: Transforms PRDs and user stories into detailed test cases, reducing test creation time by over 90%.
Low-Code Authoring Agent: Converts test cases into reliable, low-code automated tests up to 10x faster.
Self-Healing Agent: Fixes test failures caused by UI changes, reducing automation build failures by 40%.
A11y Issue Detection Agent: Detects accessibility issues like missing alt text, low color contrast, and broken keyboard navigation with clear remediation insights.
Visual Review Agent: Filters out unnecessary pixel-level differences and highlights meaningful UI changes for 3x faster approvals.
With 20+ AI agents in development, these five represent the beginning of BrowserStack's comprehensive AI-powered testing ecosystem.
"We've seen test cases increase fourfold using BrowserStack AI," said Greg Ward, Senior QA Engineer at Curry's. "Our teams are uncovering new edge cases and expanding their test coverage dramatically."
BrowserStack AI's capabilities extend beyond the platform through the BrowserStack MCP Server, an innovative integration layer that enables developers and testers to test from their IDEs, LLMs or any other MCP-enabled client. Supporting popular AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude, the MCP server reduces context switching and enables teams to access enterprise-grade testing capabilities through natural language interactions.
With over 700 engineers working on its AI agent ecosystem, BrowserStack is committed to making intelligent, AI-assisted testing the standard for modern software teams.

Vital Materials Released Quantum Flux Photon Counting CT (PCCT) Full Vertical Integration Technology

BEIJING, Aug. 19, 2025 /CNW/ -- From August 15-17, the 31 st China International Medical Equipment Exhibition and Scientific Conference (China-Hospeq 2025) was held in Beijing. Vital Materials officially launched the VITA Genesis, China's fully proprietary Photon Counting CT (PCCT) scanner, marking the entry of global medical imaging technology into the "Quantum Flux" sensing era and empowering Chinese innovation in precision diagnostics and treatment. The Photon Counting Detectors (PCD), as the core technology of PCCT, differ significantly from traditional Energy Integrating Detectors (EID). Traditional CT scanners require X-ray photons to first be converted into visible light, then into electrical signals. In contrast, the PCCT detector employs semiconductor materials, where X-ray photons excite electrons, creating electron-hole pairs proportional to photon energy. Charge carriers from the pairs are separated by an electric field to generate electrical pulses. Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) categorize these pulses by energy bins, enabling precise photon counting and energy resolution. This breakthrough provides crucial technical support for multi-energy spectral imaging, significantly enhancing the diagnostic value of medical imaging. Currently, the PCCT detectors primarily utilize three materials: Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CdZnTe or CZT), Cadmium Telluride (CdTe), and Deep Silicon. CZT is emerging as a breakthrough for next-generation medical imaging technology due to its outstanding detection capabilities. The core value of VITA Genesis lies not only in adopting a detector solution based on the CZT, but more importantly in pioneering the mastery of PCCT's full vertical integration technology. This includes ultra-high purity metals purification and compounding, single crystal growth and processing, component design and development, CT system integration, and imaging algorithm development, establishing a global paradigm in the field of PCCT.

Air Canada begins relaunching flights so customers can travel again First departures are AC009 from Toronto to Tokyo-Narita, AC556 from Vancouver to Los Angeles and AC489 from Montreal to Toronto 155 flights scheduled to depart today from Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver across North America and to Europe, Asia, South Pacific Exceptional disruption policy to be implemented to cover transport expenses MONTREAL, Aug. 19, 2025 /CNW/ - With the departures of AC009 from Toronto to Tokyo-Narita, AC556 from Vancouver to Los Angeles and AC489 from Montreal to Toronto, Air Canada resumed operations today to get Canadians moving again. The three flights were the first of 155 scheduled for the day as the airline gradually resumes service, beginning with a limited number of international flights this evening. This will gradually increase as the airline restores service in Canada, the U.S. and around the world over the coming days. "We're laser-focused on getting our customers moving again. Restoring global operations will take up to ten days, as aircraft and crew are out of position. Additionally, mandatory maintenance checks are required, as aircraft have been on the ground for more than three days. Regrettably, during this period some flights will be canceled until the schedule is stabilized, and we'll notify customers well in advance and provide options," said Mark Nasr, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, at Air Canada. "When customers buy a ticket on Air Canada, we are making a commitment to deliver them safely and on schedule. Following this disruption, we know confidence has been shaken. We're working hard to fully restore their trust, starting by getting customers on their way again. To do that, we will be introducing an exceptional policy tomorrow, towards covering transportation expenses which customers may have incurred to get to their destination during this disruption. As well, we've created a dashboard on our website so anyone can transparently track our progress as our operations return to normal. We look forward to welcoming our customers and flight attendants back onboard," concluded Mr. Nasr. Air Canada's recovery dashboard is available now at The airline's exceptional disruption policy will be available beginning August 20, 2025 at As Air Canada ramps up, customers should only go to the airport if they hold a confirmed booking, and their flights show as operating. Flight status can be checked on or on the Air Canada app. Those with cancelled flights can obtain a full refund, a travel credit, or, ask to be rebooked on our Star Alliance partners or other airlines, although capacity is limited due to peak summer travel. To assist in the rebooking process, Air Canada has designated 5,000 agents to assist customers in finding alternative travel. More information for customers about travel options including an FAQ is at: Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz or PAL continue to operate as normal.
