‘Fantastic Four' actor Julian McMahon passes away at 56 after cancer battle
Actor Julian McMahon, who is known for his roles in Nip/Tuck/, Charmed, FBI: Most Wanted, and the 2000s Fantastic Four movies passed away in Florida after a battle with cancer, reported Deadline. The actor was 56 years old. McMahon's wife, Kelly McMahon, announced the passing of her husband in a statement to Deadline. "With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer. Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories,' Kelly McMahon said. McMahon was an Australian-born actor. His father, Billy McMahon, served as Prime Minister of Australia from 1971 to 1972. Starting his career as a model, McMahon transitioned to acting with a lead role on the short-lived 1989 Australian daytime soap The Power, the Passion. He made his feature acting debut as a lead opposite Elliott Gould in the 1992 Australian-American movie Wet and Wild Summer!. McMahon then moved to Hollywood and began his American career in the same way he had his Australian one -- with a role on a daytime soap. After a stint on NBC's Another World in 1993, McMahon transitioned to primetime as a series regular on the network's crime drama Profiler for its four-season run. The actor then went on to join the WB's popular supernatural drama Charmed for a three-season stint starring as the demonic Cole Turner. McMahon's career took a huge leap when Marvel recruited him for the role of Dr Doom in the 2000s Fantastic Four franchise. He played the role of the iconic villain of Marvel in 'Fantastic Four' (2005) and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). McMahon's film credits also include Premonition, RED, Paranoia, You're Not You, Swinging Safari, and most recently, The Surfer with Nicolas Cage. It premiered in the Midnight Screenings section at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. McMahon's final role was on Netflix's murder mystery series The Residence. The actor played the role of the Australian Prime Minister in the series.

Couples like Chelley and Ace stand strong, while Iris finds a connection with Pepe.(Love Island USA) ALSO READ| Love Island USA tonight: Who got sent home, dumped on July 3, and what is the new couple? Some couples have stood out from the beginning Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene have held strong as the season's most stable duo, while Nic Vansteenberghe and Cierra Ortega have quietly built something real. However, Olandria Williams, who lost Taylor Williams to Clarke Carraway, is still figuring out her path forward. Whether she finds a solid match remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Iris Kendall is nursing a broken heart after TJ Palma's exit but her growing bond with Pepe Garcia is catching attention. Episode 27 brought a heavy moment for the villa. The 'Hate To Burst Your Bubble' challenge revealed America's unfiltered opinions about each Islander, and the reactions were intense. Amaya Espinal, in particular, was surprised by how positively viewers see her. Chelley, on the other hand, seemed genuinely hurt by some of the public's criticism. To lighten the mood, the Islanders took on a 'crash out' challenge. The game gave them a chance to pair up and relive their biggest romantic misfires in the villa with a few spicy surprises thrown in. Huda Mustafa, crowned the 'crash out queen,' relished the drama. Bryan Arenales kissed Amaya at the end of the challenge, signalling a new romance? Zak Srakaew shared a kiss with Olandria, while Pepe and Iris turned up the heat with their own steamy moment. Following the challenge, Amaya apologised to Zak for their earlier argument. 'I'm sorry for the way I spoke to you,' she told him, and Zak was quick to forgive. Later, Amaya connected with Bryan again, and the pair shared another private kiss, this time with genuine excitement about what's next. Love Island USA Season 7: Who is running the social media of contestants Huda Mustafa, Jeremiah Brown, and others
You might think your phone is essential, but not if you are on Love Island USA. A bunch of Islanders kicked off phones before heading to Fiji, but their IGs? Still booming. Here is how their social media is being taken care of, and which voices are filling the void. No phones, no problem: Who's posting? Since the Islanders enter the villa without access to their phones, someone else has to step in. Each jersey comes with a #Team account manager, usually a best friend, sibling, or the power couple that loves to serve dramatic updates. Elan Bibas Elan's younger brother, Tal Bibas, has taken charge of his Instagram and TikTok. The strategy? Strictly content and engagement. Tal boosted Elan's followers from roughly 3,000 to over 63,000 in under two weeks, clever algorithm moves and smart posting earned serious traction. Jeremiah Brown, Cierra Ortega, Huda Mustafa, and others Jeremiah Brown's 'big sis' has stepped up in his absence, delivering affirmations and calling out petitions to support him. Cierra Ortega's posts are handled by friend MJ Hedderman, serving witty updates and personality-packed captions. Huda Mustafa's account has seen emotional messages about her journey and fans rallying around her dramatic moments. Meanwhile, Chelley Bissainthe's family is busy promoting #TeamChelley and countering rumours, one quite heart-breaking post covered her showing emotion after Olandria's exit. Why does it matter? This approach keeps fans connected, and keeps engagement numbers high. Following Islanders while they are on the show turns them into brand-ready prospects post-villa. And with Love Island itself ranking as Peacock's second-most-watched streaming reality show, maintaining an active presence is crucial. With social media now community-managed, fans are split. Some applaud the transparency, knowing that every comment, meme, or interaction is intentional. Others worry the behind-the-scenes teams may be spinning narratives or controlling what's said online. Season 7 Islanders may be offline, but their stars are still shining. From calculated follower boosts to heartfelt captions from loved ones, these social media takeovers are shaping how fans perceive the villa experience. Who are you rooting for?
