Benson Boone Flies Back To No. 1 With One Of The Biggest Pop Songs In Years
A month into its run on the Billboard charts, Benson Boone's sophomore album American Heart continues to descend. This week, the set falls outside the top 40 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Streaming Albums rankings, and it comes dangerously close to slipping from that region on the Billboard 200.
Several singles from the project are still performing relatively well — one even reaches a new peak on several tallies — but the spotlight remains, as always, on 'Beautiful Things.' The track that turned Boone into a household name is somehow still reigning supreme in America.
To this day, 'Beautiful Things' remains a hit, jumping back into first place on the Adult Contemporary radio list. In the previous frame, the tune held in the runner-up spot behind 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims, another historic leader to emerge in the past year. This time around, the two swap spots, with Boone hitting No. 1 again.
'Beautiful Things' has now spent 73 weeks on the Adult Contemporary chart. That's a long time, even for a ranking known for its lengthy stays. The global smash has led the tally for 13 nonconsecutive frames. It first climbed to No. 1 in March and has risen and fallen since, but it's never strayed too far from the summit.
It was just a few weeks ago, on the chart dated July 12, that 'Beautiful Things' last claimed the throne. That week, 'Beautiful Things' sat at No. 1 while 'Lose Control' was pushed to second place. Then, the two traded positions, and 'Lose Control' has ruled ever since, until this period. Benson Boone Lands Three Adult Contemporary Hits
Boone currently occupies three spots on the Adult Contemporary ranking, with his oldest hit being the biggest. 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' climbs to a new all-time high of No. 11, while fellow American Heart single 'Mystical Magical' debuts at No. 25. Boone earns his fifth career win on this list as the latter track arrives.
Both 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' and 'Mystical Magical' have now landed on all three of Billboard's pop radio rankings. Those two tracks — as well as 'Beautiful Things' — also live on the all-genre Radio Songs tally.

Here's what to expect from Season 2 of The Pitt on HBO Max
Production for Season 2 of The Pitt is underway and here's what to know and expect about the Pittsburgh-based show that's already garnered several Emmy nominations. The popular medical drama stars Noah Wyle and snagged 13 Emmy nominations, including for best drama and best actor. The HBO Max series also got nods for supporting actress, directing, writing, sound editing, makeup and casting. While most of the first season was filmed on a set in Burbank, California, that looked like Allegheny General Hospital, the show spent three days filming in Pittsburgh last September. The crew shot drone footage above the hospital and around the city, and some scenes were shot on the hospital's helipad. The show's second season is set to premiere in January 2026 and some new details are emerging about what you can expect to see. According to TV Line, Season 2 of the show is expected to again consist of a 15-hour day in the hospital's emergency department, this time over a 4th of July weekend, approximately ten months after the first season of the show ended. Producers for the show spoke with The Wrap and said some topics and storylines from the season are expected to include immigration, autism, and PTSD. Nearly all of the cast members from the first season are expected to return for the second season, but Dr. Heather Collins, played by Tracy Ifeachor will not be returning. Wyle previously told Deadline that her departure from the show was a story-based decision. Executive Producer John Wells, who graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, said he hopes that now that the show has gained some traction, HBO will be able to get some clearance from professional sports leagues to use team logos to help reflect the Pittsburgh-based themes of The Pitt.

Barbie star Margot Robbie is being eyed for the lead role in Tim Burton's remake of a 1950s B-movie, sci-fi classic
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Margot Robbie is in early talks to star in Tim Burton's remake of the independent 1958 sci-fi classic Attack of the 50-Foot Woman. According to Variety, should Robbie decide to sign on, she would co-produce the film under her LuckyChap production banner. It was announced last year that Burton would direct from a screenplay by Gillian Flynn, who wrote the first draft but has since left the project. Robbie's decision to star reportedly depends on the final version of the script, though the film is currently without a writer. The original black-and-white film was directed by Nathan H. Juran and written by Mark Hanna. Allison Hayes starred as Nancy Fowler Archer, a wealthy heiress who has a close encounter with an alien one fateful night and becomes a giantess. The cult-classic was part of a slew of sci-fi films about giant humans, including The Amazing Colossal Man and War of the Colossal Beast. A remake, directed by Christopher Guest and starring Daryl Hannah as Nancy, was made for HBO in 1993. Robbie recently wrapped filming on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, starring opposite Colin Farrell, as well as on Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights adaptation. Signing on to the Burton pic would reunite her with Warner Bros., which released Robbie's $1.45 billion-dollar Barbie movie. Attack of the 50-Foot Woman does not yet have a release date.
