Many families, especially those who love the great outdoors, go on camping trips during the summer holidays. Wales has plenty of idyllic camping destinations, including adventurous spots in Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons. Going on a camping trip can be cheaper than an overseas holiday, especially for larger families, but buying the equipment required can be costly.
However, Argos has reduced the price of a large tent, which has high ratings and more than 300 customer reviews. The Pro Action tent sleeps up to six people and has a built-in tunnel connecting each of the rooms. It's on sale for £86.25, knocked down from £115.
The red, six-person tent has a mosquito net, a separate groundsheet and also comes with the tent pegs and guy ropes needed to assemble and secure it. The family-size tent has three rooms, two windows and three lantern hanging points. Pro Action says it takes two people to assemble.

Pro Action 6-Person tent
The Pro Action six-person tent from Argos has an overall customer satisfaction rating of 4.5 and 246 five-star reviews. One buyer said: "I bought it for a friend, and they say it is really steady. It doesn't let any water in and withstands heavy winds—absolutely amazing. He rated it a 10 for him and his family and says it's a very cheap way to spend a holiday."
A second customer said it was too hot inside, writing: "Good value for money, however, there's no sealed floor or bug net on the middle room and the smaller rooms attract too much heat in the day and can get damp."
A third commented: "I am very impressed with this tent. Good value for money, easy to assemble and very comfy once done. Spacious and strong. We enjoyed our camping, thank you so much."

A fourth Argos buyer wrote: "This is a great family starter tent. Spacious and plenty of seating space in the middle for those damp days. I did a solo test pitch in my garden, which took me just under 15 minutes. One recommendation I have is that you would possibly want to upgrade your pegs."
A fifth buyer concluded: "I bought this in August for a camping trip and couldn't be happier. The tent was easy to assemble and was comfortable and spacious."

Beats wireless earphones now nearly half price as shoppers say they are superior to other brands
Beats Powerbeats Pro earphones are now 49% off on Amazon, offering 9-hour battery life and over 24 hours with the case. Wireless earbuds have become a go-to choice for those seeking high-quality audio, hands-free calls, and workout-friendly durability. Among the most talked-about options are the Beats Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones, which currently have a significant price drop on Amazon. Priced at £139, down from £269.95, they're now 49% off and available in Black, Ivory, and Navy. The Powerbeats Pro offers up to 9 hours of listening time on a single charge, with the case extending playback to over 24 hours. Designed with adjustable, secure-fit ear hooks, these earbuds are built for comfort and stability during intense workouts. A reinforced, sweat- and water-resistant build adds durability, while volume and track controls on each earbud, built-in microphones, and auto play/pause features round out the functionality. Several other options are also available in the wireless earbuds market. The Anker Soundcore Sport X20, for instance, features rotatable and extendable ear hooks, IP68 waterproofing, and up to 48 hours of playtime. It is currently priced at £74.99 (RRP £89.99) with a 4.3-star rating from 5,472 reviews. Another popular choice is the Apple AirPods Pro 2, which includes active noise cancellation, personalised spatial audio, and USB-C charging. At £189 (RRP £229), they've earned a 4.6-star average from over 15,000 reviews. But for those considering the Powerbeats Pro, there's plenty of positive feedback backing the choice. These earbuds hold a 4.1-star rating from 11,699 Amazon reviews. One user shared: 'My Powerbeats Pro is the best hearing aid I have ever bought... The battery lasts almost all day... With the hooks, my Powerbeats Pro sits comfortably in my ears with my glasses... Overall to me at least the Powerbeats Pro is superior to similar headphones in its class.' However, not all experiences have been flawless. One reviewer said: 'There are two negatives... No ANC. And the earphones tend to have a common flaw whereby in-case charging can be an issue... I normally spend a few seconds carefully placing them in my charging case but still have turned up to the gym with one earbud dead.' Other reviewers praised build quality and performance: 'Everything about these earphones scream quality... The sound quality surprised me... They are incredibly well balanced... Probably not as tight [a seal] as some others... but I don't find myself having to take them out because of a build up of pressure.' Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! While others were less impressed: 'The sound quality is just average, and they tend to fall out once I start sweating... there are times when only one headphone turns on after I take them out of the box.' Another user was particularly enthusiastic: 'These headphones are game changing... Sound quality is possibly the cleanest I've heard... Also these are the only earbuds that stay in and I can wear for 12 hours no issues.' The Beats Powerbeats Pro may not be without flaws, particularly when it comes to the size of the case and occasional charging issues—but they remain a strong contender in the premium workout earbud space. 5 happiest places to live in America
Reno, Nevada, has been named the happiest place to live in America, chosen as a reformative and affordable 'modern boomtown' with fair weather and creative outlets year round. The city was chosen by Outside , based on factors including overall well-being, public land and affordability, and climate change and inclusivity. Millions of surveys were scoured to assess the best urban areas in the US for well-being, before the researchers looked at house and rental prices and general walkability. Reno was ultimately judged the best in class, undertaking massive transformations to become more inclusive and accessible, attracting major companies like Amazon and Tesla without losing sight of its local arts and crafts culture. Reno, Nevada: With a population of 273,448 and a media house price of $550,000, Reno tops the list of the happiest places to live in America. Outside described Reno as a 'modern boomtown', bustling with green, open spaces, climbing gyms and a summer arts festival as part of a local revival. The outlet noted 'ample public land and mountain vibe' in its decision to award the city the top spot in the rankings. It is a far cry from the city's historic reputation as a hub of casinos and gambling - and part of a steady transformation to a more rounded economy. Reno was once the gambling capital of the United States - before nearby Las Vegas outgrew it. The 'biggest little city in the world' has long struck a chord with artists around the globe, featuring in everything from Johnny Cash's 'Folsom Prison Blues' to Springsteen's 'Reno', The Grateful Dead's 'Friend of the Devil' and REM's 'All the Way to Reno'. Now, the city is home to 18 ski resorts, popular spots for whitewater events, winding cycle trails, a host of music venues and several significant sports stadia. Reno today has enough adventure for locals and tourists year-round, making it a go-to destination inclusive of all. Wilmington, Delaware: Well-connected Wilmington neighbors Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore and Washington D.C., offering walkability and community to residents. Its population is 71,569 and Delaware's largest city is built at the meeting point of the Christina River and Brandywine Creek, and has had its riverfront revitalized in recent years. Wilmington boasts nearly 70 parks, including the 178-acre Brandywine Park and the Alapocas Run, a 415-acre space filled with hiking and biking trails. Outside reports that the city has an inclusive local culture, with LGBTQ+ community leader Dinea Elliott Collins saying: 'When I travel to other parts of the country, I realize how safe and comfortable I feel in Wilmington.' The median house price is $255,000. New Orleans, Louisiana: Population: 369,749. With a median house price of $360,000, some 80 per cent of residents in New Orleans live within a ten-minute walk of a park, making the city one of the most attractive for residents who enjoy outdoor spaces. Culturally, the city has many attractions bringing visitors each year - from the colonial-era French Quarter to St Charles Avenue and Magazine Street's rows of antique shops. New Orleans remains one of the country's most-visited cities for its deep and complex history, preserving its past in a number of significant museums. In 2016, the city was also ranked the best in the US for live music, cocktail hour and cheap eats - but last for safety. Outside references the city's culture and cuisine, friendliness towards LQBTQ+ people and 'underrated' green spaces in awarding it third place. Cincinnati, Ohio: In the late 1800s, Cincy was dubbed the 'Paris of America', due to ambitious architectural projects that still line the streets of its urban center. Developed as a river town for shipping, the city remains an industralized hub with a large economy attractive to large employers and a quaint market pavilion for merchants to sell local produce. It also remains one of the greenest, with 88 per cent of residents living ten-minutes from a park - and a temperate climate ensuring beautiful year-round vistas to be found in the city's 365 parks and recreation areas. Benefitting from large-scale immigration from Germany in the 1840s, the city also benefits from a rich brewing tradition and has more than 80 organizations still making local beer - surely pushing it up the rankings for happiest places to live. Today, Cincinnati's population is 309,513and the median house price is $272,750. Outside notes the city's local University of Virginia has given Charlottesville a 'vibrant startup culture', with high rates of graduates and low unemployment. The city's commercial district, The Corner, also provides Charlottesville with a number of college bars and restaurants, as well as a considerable nightlife scene. Around the city, a 20-mile trail offers hikers and bikers a picturesque loop lined with places beautiful riverside spaces, and a number of breweries are 'scattered throughout the surrounding countryside', according to Outside.
