He highlighted a scam involving 'sugar mummy' service offers on TikTok to lure teenagers, coercing them to share personal content classified as Child Sexual Exploitation Material (C-SET). Victims are then extorted for thousands of ringgit to avoid public exposure.

Court orders Caprice to remove defamatory posts against entrepreneur
KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has ordered rapper Caprice to archive 31 allegedly defamatory Instagram posts targeting entrepreneur Muhammad Asyraf Khalid. 'I invited Murad to discuss gym management challenges and clarify his Instagram statements denying allegations,' said Muhammad Asyraf. The posts also insinuated that Muhammad Asyraf misused family influence as the son of Datuk Seri Khalid Mohammad Jiwa. Despite not airing the full podcast episode, Caprice continued attacking Muhammad Asyraf publicly. The lawsuit claims Caprice's actions led to public backlash and tarnished Muhammad Asyraf's reputation. Muhammad Asyraf seeks an injunction to prevent further defamatory posts and demands their removal within 24 hours. He also requests a public video apology from Caprice across all social media platforms. The plaintiff is seeking general damages, aggravated damages, and legal costs. Crane lorry triggers multi-vehicle crash in Johor Bahru
JOHOR BAHRU: A crane lorry triggered a multi-vehicle pile-up after its brakes malfunctioned at a traffic junction along Jalan Kebun Teh Lama this morning. South Johor Bahru district police chief ACP Raub Selamat confirmed the incident occurred near a restaurant at Kilometre 3 of Jalan Johor Bahru-Kota Tinggi. The accident involved six cars and two motorcycles heading towards the town centre around 9 am. Raub stated, 'Preliminary investigations found that the crane lorry driven by a man, 49, went out of control when its brake system didn't function when he tried to stop the vehicle at the traffic light junction.' DOE, Labuan Corporation And Marine Dept Investigate Oil Spill At Marina Jetty
LABUAN, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- An investigation has been launched into the oil spill incident at the Labuan Public Marine Jetty to identify the parties responsible. The Department of Environment (DOE), in a statement to Bernama today, said the investigation would involve Labuan Corporation and the Marine Department. The incident was first reported to the DOE office in Labuan on Aug 14, and enforcement officers were immediately dispatched to the site for inspection at 2.30 pm the same day. The DOE enforcement officers discovered oil waste patches estimated between 500 to 1,000 litres accumulated along the jetty and sticking to boats. 'Samples of the oil waste were collected and have been sent to the Chemistry Department for of no compound issued to any parties,' it said. It added that an immediate action notice was issued to the jetty operator, and clean-up operations were carried out by the Petroleum Industry of Malaysia Mutual Aid Group (PIMMAG). The DOE confirmed that it is working closely with the Marine Department, Labuan Corporation, and Labuan Port Authority in managing the case. The department reminded the public that discharging oil into Malaysian waters without a licence is an offence under the Environmental Quality Act 1974, and stern legal action will be taken against those found responsible. The department also reaffirmed its commitment to continuous monitoring and strict enforcement to safeguard Labuan's marine environment.
