In a catalog that remains one of the most valuable in music history, a handful of Fleetwood Mac tracks stand out as constant favorites. A few singles produced by the English/American group continue to sell and stream well enough to regularly appear on Billboard charts in the United States, decades after their release.
This week, a pair of cuts from the Grammy-winning outfit stand out as top 10 wins. One of them nearly returns to No. 1, but Fleetwood Mac is blocked from the peak position by one of the hottest newcomers in the rock and alternative space.
'Dreams' Inches Up the Rock Streaming Songs Chart
Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams' climbs ever so slightly on the current edition of the Rock Streaming Songs chart. The tune, which immediately became a fan favorite around a half-century ago when it was first released and which found a new audience after going viral several years back, moves from No. 3 to No. 2 on the tally. Only 'Back to Friends' by newcomer Sombr blocks the band from earning another turn at No. 1.
'Back to Friends' has now spent 15 weeks on the Rock Streaming Songs chart. Four of those frames have been at No. 1.
'Dreams' Has Already Topped the Chart
While 'Dreams' might not conquer the Rock Streaming Songs tally again this frame, the Fleetwood Mac classic has already spent time in the penthouse. 'Dreams' first hit No. 1 in October 2020. In the 284 weeks it has spent somewhere on the tally, eight of them have been in first place.
Fleetwood Mac Rises on the Billboard Charts
'Dreams' is gaining ground on every Billboard chart on which it appears. Amazingly, the Fleetwood Mac cut ranks among the 50 most-played tunes on streaming platforms, as it inches one space north to No. 31 on the all-genre Streaming Songs taly. The same single also grows on the Billboard Global 200 and reappears on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
'The Chain' Reaches a New Peak
Fleetwood Mac claims two top 10 hits in America this week, as 'Dreams' is joined by 'The Chain.' That tune blasts back onto the Rock Digital Song Sales chart at No. 3, a new all-time peak for the decades-old cut. Surprisingly, 'The Chain' was never chosen as a single, but that hasn't stopped it from remaining a fan favorite for many years.

Orlando Bloom won't testify at Katy Perry's trial over $15 million mansion

Orlando Bloom won't be required to testify at ex-fiancée Katy Perry's upcoming trial regarding the $15 million mansion she bought from an elderly Texas millionaire, who later claimed he wasn't in the right state of mind to make such a deal. Los Angeles County Judge Joseph Lipner ruled Friday that 85-year-old Carl Westcott's efforts to put Bloom on the stand served no purpose other than to 'make it a celebrity circus,' Rolling Stone reported. Westcott had sought for the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' alum to testify in the case, claiming he had information that was relevant to arguments over millions of dollar of repairs that Perry said were necessary due to damage done between the years she purchased the property and when she actually took over control. Judge Lipner said it was not necessary for Bloom to be questioned about the repairs, and that Westcott should instead broach the matter with 'the construction person who actually did it.' The legal saga all started in July 2020 when Westcott tried to back out of the sale just days after signing the contract with Perry. He claimed to have been on painkillers and suffering from dementia symptoms that would make him unfit to finalize the deal. At a liability trial in 2023, the judge ultimately ruled that Westcott was perfectly competent at the time he signed the contract. Perry was finally given the keys to the property in April 2024, though she claims extensive repairs due to 'lack of maintenance' over the previous four years — as well as the loss of rental income — set her back nearly $6 million. Perry is seeking to be reimbursed, arguing that Wescott was responsible for handing over the home in the condition it was in when she bought it. Wescott claims Perry never provided final receipts for the repairs that were done, and instead only gave estimates. The 40-year-old Grammy nominee is expected to testify during the bench trial beginning on Aug. 21 to determine how much she's owed in damages. Westcott had said Bloom too should testify because he was present for the spring 2024 home inspections and allegedly said he'd be in charge of handling the repairs on Perry's behalf. The latest development comes nearly a month after Perry's representatives released a joint statement confirming that she'd ended her nine-year, on-and-off relationship with Bloom, to whom she got engaged in 2019. The 'Firework' singer and the 'Lord of the Rings' star share 4-year-old daughter Daisy.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results As Charlotte Flair And Alexa Bliss Co-Exist, Win Tag Titles

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss formed an unlikely duo en route to WWE SummerSlam 2025, where they challenged Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Over the past several weeks, Bliss and Flair shockingly became the No. 1 contenders for the tag team titles not once but twice. At Evolution, they fell a little short in a 4-way tag team match, but a couple of weeks ago, Bliss helped Flair beat Rodriguez, ultimately leading to a standard tag team match at SummerSlam. And with Flair and Bliss finally on the same page, The Judgment Day's duo didn't stand a chance at WWE SummerSlam 2025. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results for Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair vs. The Judgment Day Flair and Bliss have been tag team champions in the past but never together. Until WWE SummerSlam, that is. With the crowd firmly behind them throughout the match in MetLife Stadium, Flair and Bliss defeated Rodriguez and Perez with a crazy finishing sequence that ended when Blair hit Perez with a devastating Sister Abigail. Bliss is now officially a four-time tag team champion while Flair is one half of the tag team champions for just the second time ever. In a red hot bout in New Jersey, Flair, Bliss, Rodriguez and Perez created a highlight-filled match, most notably: For now, Flair and Bliss remain on the same page and have an opportunity to elevate the oft-cursed WWE Women's Tag Team Championship after their big win at WWE SummerSlam. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results: What's Next for Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair? WWE SummerSlam wasn't supposed to go down this way, at least not for Flair and Bliss. According to Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t ITRWrestling), Flair and Bliss were originally scheduled to have a very brief partnership, split up and then face each other in a high-profile singles match at SummerSlam. Plans changed, however, when the improbable pairing worked out wonderfully well almost instantly. That caused Flair herself to reportedly request that WWE hold off on the break-up and extend their partnership. What a great decision that has been, too, specifically for Flair. Prior to Flair's pairing with Bliss, she was floundering as a tweener of sorts who couldn't find her footing after an infamously bad WrestleMania 41 rivalry with Tiffany Stratton. WWE initially tried to portray Flair as the babyface in that rivalry, and when it didn't work and she became the clear heel, that rivalry absolutely fell apart in notorious fashion. A brief post-WrestleMania hiatus for Flair didn't do her much good, either. Then, along came the returning Bliss. One of WWE's most beloved stars, Bliss has been able to utilize her near universal popularity to make Flair beloved by assocation. Now, Flair is one of the most popular stars on SmackDown as well, so there is no need to end this pairing anytime soon. Throughout WWE's history, numerous unlikely duos, ranging from Rated RK-Bro to Team Hell No, easily exceeded even the loftiest of expectations. Flair and Bliss are doing the same, and after their big win at WWE SummerSlam, they should move forward as the cornerstones of a tag team division that would sink without them.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results As Roman Reigns And Jey Uso Get Revenge

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso defeated Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker at WWE SummerSlam 2025. This was an exciting tag team opener that loosely followed the rules of a traditional tag team match. All four stars got their stuff in—both in and out of the ring. Reigns put himself in harms way, taking a Spear from Bron Breakker, which opened the door for Uso to score the winning pinfall. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso have individually feuded with Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins and The Brons since WrestleMania 41. Team Rollins played a part in wearing Jey Uso down en route to his world title loss to Gunther on the June 9 broadcast of WWE Raw. Reigns recently returned to team up with his cousin, but their momentum came violently crashing down this past Monday on Raw as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed destroyed the OG Bloodline members. To add insult to injury, they stole Reigns' Jordans. After Cardi B opened up the show in her charismatic and sartorial best, Jey Uso—now wearing shorts—entered MetLife Stadium. Roman Reigns entered second to an equally as rousing reaction. Thankfully, Reigns was able to find another pair of Jordans after Reed stole his Jordan Spizikes. Big Bronson Reed entered carrying Reigns' Jordans. The Tribal Thief donned the 'Shoe-la Fala' around Paul Heyman's neck. After clearing the ring of the heels, Jey Uso ran it back. Reigns was too cool to Yeet, but he did pressure Michael Cole to do so. The Re-Yeet was stifled by The Brons as they took control of the match, pummeling Jey Uso. Breakker came out of nowhere and bowled over Reigns on the outside. Fans chanted 'we want Roman' and 'OTC' as Reigns waited for a tag. Bron Breakker sarcastically sang the Roman Reigns chant to Reigns as he grabbed a hold on Jey Uso in the middle of a tag match. Just as Jey dived for the tag, Reed pulled Reigns off the apron while Breakker intercepted Jey Uso. Reigns tagged in with a furiously hot tag. The comeback ended with Reigns wildly diving to the outside and almost landing on top of his head a la Undertaker at WrestleMania 25. He was fine. Fans gasped (and then barked) as Breakker prepared for a diving clothesline. Breakker sprinted and connected with the move on Reigns onto the Spanish announce table. Breakker, who got a lot of cardio in this match, sprinted toward Reigns for a Spear, but was cut off with a Superman Punch. Reigns then got his revenge from Raw by Spearing Breakker through a barricade. Reigns and Jey Uso hit a 1D, but the pinfall was broken up by Bron Breakker, who exhibited Wolverine-like recovery. Reigns took a bullet for Jey Uso after getting Speared by Bron Breakker. Jey cleaned house and laid out both Brons. Jey then hit an Uso Splash on Reed for the win.
