AS the cost-of-living crisis keeps soaring, many cash-strapped Brits are looking for cheap ways to spruce up their homes.
And now one thrifty woman has proved there's no need to fork out thousands to give your home a glow-up.

Kirsty M Jackson recently left people with their jaws on the floor after sharing her epic bedroom makeover which she achieved ''on a small budget''.
Before it turned absolutely fabulous, the spacious bedroom was pretty plain and lacked any cosy feel to it - the walls were white and there was a lone lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.
By the mega bed Kirsty had placed a bedside table with a smaller rattan lamp - and that's as far as the accessories went.
Keen to make the bedroom more modern and relaxing, Kirsty decided to take matters into her own hands and did it up herself.
After tackling the white woodchip wallpaper, the DIY fan attached pre-made panels which she had snapped up from B&Q for just £9 a pack.
What's even better is that not only was the panelling kit cheap, it also required absolutely no nails or wall-drilling either - as all she used was No Nails adhesive.
While shopping at the popular home goods store, Kirsty also picked up two gorgeous bedside lamps that were slashed from £34 to just £17 each.
Once the panelling had been attached to the walls, instead of leaving it plain, the thrifty woman went over the surface with Dulux Overtly Olive pain - which you can find at B&Q for just £22.
Sharing her experience with attaching the panels, she told Facebook users: ''I watched some YouTube videos first before I did it.
''They explain it well and easy to follow. Recommend watching those first before you start. It is really easy to do.''

Kirsty went on: ''I did the whole wall in a couple of hours.
''Make sure you measure the wall and work how the spaces between each strip so it's equal.''
The final result now feels like something from a fancy Mediterranean retreat, with a relaxing feel to it, as well as a stunning plant in the corner for extra greenery.
All chuffed with the glorious glow-up, Kirsty said in her post: ''Some before and after pics. Wood chip paper is the vein [bane] of my life but it's gone now.
''Few accessories needed. All done on a small budget.''
The epic makeover, posted on the popular DIY On A Budget Official page, has since taken the internet by storm, winning Kirsty more than 140 likes - and heaps of praise.
