THE Rolling Stones are working on a new album after dropping plans for a massive summer tour, The Sun can reveal.
Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have been in the recording studio since April.

They have laid down 13 songs and are in discussions over a release date for their 25th studio album.
The band's last album, Hackney Diamonds, their first original work in 18 years, went straight to No1 following its release in 2023.
Sir Mick and Keith, both 81, and Ronnie, 78, have been holed up in West London's Metropolis Studios.
A source said: 'Mick, Keith and Ronnie have been secretly recording their new record with their drummer Steve Jordan.
"They've got 13 songs they're happy with and they are discussing when they can release it.
'Originally, the plan was for them to bring their huge US tour to the UK and Europe this summer but promoters couldn't get the dates to work.
'Instead the Stones decided to get back into the studio and put down their next album. It's massive for their fans who didn't get a chance to see them live this year.'

It is understood the It's Only Rock 'n Roll stars have teamed up again with producer Andrew Watt, who worked on Hackney Diamonds.
Keith, who has a house in West Sussex, has been staying at London hotel The Dorchester so he can be closer to the studio.
An insider added: 'Keith loves The Dorchester. It's costing him a packet to stay there but it's perfect for him.'
In November, to mark Ronnie's 50th anniversary of joining the Stones, the band plans to release a remastered edition of its 1976 Black and Blue album, featuring two new tracks.

Brandon's father was Narvel Blackstock while his mother was Elisa Gayle Ritter. Reba, 70, was married to music titan Narvel, 68, from 1989 until their divorce in 2015. Despite no longer being married, Brandon and his brother, Shelby Blackstock continued to call Reba 'mom' over the years. Now her son, race car driver Shelby Blackstock, 35, has posted an emotional tribute to Brandon. The pair share the same father and, alongside images of the pair together and with Reba, he wrote an heart-wrenching tribute. Shelby penned: "Words cannot begin to capture the tremendous loss our family has endured. "Yesterday, we lost a brother, a father, a grandfather, and a son. "Brandon Blackstock was an irreplaceable part of our family — funny, bright, and full of life — and he will be deeply missed." The Sun was first to reveal how Kelly was "in talks" to star on a new reality TV series with Reba prior to Brandon's passing. CANCER STRUGGLE Earlier this week, a tragic family statement revealed Brandon's death/ "It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away," it read on Thursday. The statement added: "Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. "We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time." Just one day prior, Kelly canceled her August concerts in her Las Vegas residency. "While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them," Kelly told fans. She had quietly taken time off from her daytime talk show earlier in the year to support her kids during her ex's illness. TRAGIC END In June 2020, Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon and at the time, cited 'irreconcilable differences.' The two fought in a nasty court war for the following years, battling over custody of their two kids, their real estate portfolio, and their financial empire. The couple's divorce was finally settled in March 2022, but it ended up costing the pop superstar a fortune. She was ordered to pay Brandon over $1.3million in a lump sum, along with $45,601 per month in child support, and a staggering $115,000 a month in spousal support, according to court documents. The pair were private about their life post-divorce but fans were concerned about the pop star's family after she multiple leave of absence's this year. FAMILY AFFAIR Kelly's proposed TV show with Reba was originally pitched around 2019 but scrapped a year later. It would have also involved the pair's close pals, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Their family connection would've been a theme on a previous season of The Voice, an insider spilled to The U.S. Sun. 'There were once talks of doing a family-themed season [of The Voice], it was a handful of years back, around 2019. 'The coaches would've been Reba, Kelly, Gwen, and Blake. The family theme being Kelly was Reba's daughter-in-law and Kelly and Blake having the same manager at the time,' they said, acknowledging how Brandon once oversaw both Kelly's and Blake's career for a number of years. 'Kelly and Blake were also basically best buds at the time and of course, Gwen and Blake being together added that other family element. 'Their relationships were all very overlapping. Those four are very intertwined and have genuine connections. Katie has previously vented about those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show. She even wowed not to watch her daughter's reality show, after feeling left out of such an important thing in Princess' life. In this week's episode of The Katie Price podcast, Pricey vented about the teenager's management company, claiming she was "not allowed" to take part in the show. Princess is currently being managed by The CAN Group. Katie fumed: "I've always said, over my dead body would I ever want her to manage my kids because she doesn't like me and Pete and me don't talk. I am very, very, very upset that Princess has signed with them. She added: "Now she's managing Princess and Junior, out of my control, I want the best for Junior and Princess, always, and I will never get in the way of it. "But what hurts my feelings – and it does upset me – is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you know, you go to their football matches or their gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do. "And knowing that what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path – trying to do the same as what I've done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I had not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, 'I'm so upset'. ''It's my daughter. I want to be involved. Along with Geri and Mel, the band was formed of Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham (formerly Adams) and Mel C. With nicknames like Ginger, Scary, Baby, Posh and Sporty they were an instant hit after releasing the very catchy tune, Wannabe. They were immediately catapulted into superstardom, and soon became household names around the world thanks to songs like Too Much and 2 Become 1. But behind-the-scenes, the band was often plagued by reports of "in-fighting" and "creative differences" - mainly between the girl group's feistiest members, Geri and Mel. Here we take a look at Ginger and Scary's relationship and how it's played out over the years. GERI LEAVES THE SPICE GIRLS In 1998, just two years after the Spice Girls had been propelled to international stardom with Wannabe, Geri announced she was leaving the band. At the time, she said she was quitting because of 'creative differences' and also impact of being in the supergroup was having on her mental health. Writing in her 2002 memoir Just For The Record, Geri said: 'One thing that was clear at the time I decided to leave was that inside Ginger Spice, underneath the make-up, the big hair, the giant platforms and the headline-grabbing dresses, there was a real girl and she was being suffocated." The news of Geri leaving the band on the eve of their US tour starting, hit the other Spice Girls hard - especially Mel. "She left on my birthday and didn't tell anybody. "She didn't show up. We had the American part of the tour to continue." The bombshell claim came during Mel's interview on Piers Morgan's Life Stories in 2019. Before this time, there had never been any mention of a "romp" between the two women. But pressed by host Piers, she admitted: 'She (Geri) is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in her country house and her husband, but it's a fact. 'It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it. 'We were best friends. Have you ever done that?' And she added of Geri: 'She had great boobs.' Piers asked: 'So just once?' Mel replied: 'Yeah.' Triumphant Piers added: 'This is a bombshell. A Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before have you? People are going to be fascinated.' Mel said: 'Yeah and I have said it now. All done. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.' Geri's husband Christian Horner was also said to be 'mortified' by the claims. 7 Geri was a no show at Mel's recent wedding to Rory McPhee Credit: Splash SKIPPING WEDDING Now rumours of a "reignited feud" between Ginger and Scary have remerged after Geri skipped Mel's wedding. She hasn't given a reason why she was not at the ceremony last month, which saw Mel wed Rory McPhee. It should be noted that she wasn't the only Spicey to miss the wedding, in fact, Emma Bunton was the only one who could make it. However, what was different with Geri was she completely ghosted the whole event, and unlike the other Spice Girls, failed to congratulate Mel on social media. The silence was deafening with reports of a "feud" between the pair emerging once again. All eyes were then on Geri to see if she would be at Mel's second wedding to Rory last weekend in Morocco. Sadly, Spice Girls fans were left disappointed as Ginger was a no show once again.
