Shoppers can bag a bargain as sexual wellness brand unveils sale
Despite decades of work put into demystifying sex and reducing taboos around pleasure, plenty of people find themselves not knowing where to begin when it comes to improving their sex lives. Whether its adding some spice to time spent with a partner, or self-exploration during some alone time, the right sex toy can make all the difference - and that's where Smile Makers comes in.
Described as 'pioneers in female sexual wellness,' Smile Makers researches, designs and tests elegant sex toys and accessories that proudly celebrate pleasure and has put its products front and centre in big-name shops like Selfridges, Urban Outfitters and Sephora. Now, shoppers looking for a new pleasure product can enjoy 20% off site-wide on all of Smile Makers' catalogue as part of a campaign improve wellbeing through self care.
With a team consisting of 75% women, female pleasure is at the heart of everything Smile Makers does - and they create products that they hope shoppers will proudly display on their nightstand, rather than feeling the need to hide in a dusty corner under the bed.
For shoppers who don't know where to start when it comes to shopping for sex toys, the brand has put together a handy quiz that helps to narrow down the products that might work best. Alternatively, browsing the best-rated products list is always a good idea, with plenty of reviews from real users to help shoppers decide what might work for them.
There's even a whole page dedicated to vibrators for beginners. The Billionaire - a simple bullet vibrator that can be used externally or internally - is £39.96 after the 20% discount is applied, and packs a punch with four speeds, two pulsation modes, and a waterproof design.
Those looking for something a little more intense could try The Tennis Pro, a G spot vibrator with an angled head and flexible neck and a battery that lasts for three hours between charges. This one is also £39.96 after discount.
Alternatively, a more delicate experience is offered by The Whisperer, a lipstick vibrator that's designed for new mums to enjoy a gentle reintroduction to pleasure. That said, it's great for anyone who wants a more subtle session - and at £27.96 after the 20% discount, it could be a great way to test the waters without spending lots of cash.
There are plenty of pleasure emporiums to explore beyond Smile Makers, too. Lovehoney, which claims to have the largest selection of sex toys in the UK, truly has something for everyone - and there are often great discounts to be had, too while on the high street Ann Summers also has a decent range of sex toys and accessories.
That said, Smile Makers' range has lots of great reviews from happy customers. One buyer of The Tennis Pro said: "I honestly didn't know what to expect. It's my first vibrator and my expectations were kind of mid. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm still exploring and discovering, but so far so good."
Another said: "A good starting toy to begin this vibe-y journey of mine. Not too intimidating and many modes for when you feel confident enough."
The Whisperer has received a unanimous set of 72 five-star reviews with one shopper praising it as 'silent, discreet and powerful.' Another said: "I am so so in love with this new vibrator. It is the most perfect size but I love all the different settings. It's super soft and squishy which I love because it almost feels gentle like skin. My new go to."
However, these are very personal purchases and don't always work for everyone. One buyer of The Tennis Pro said: "A bit stronger would have been lovely."
Overall across all the different products on their site, Smilemakers has an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars based on 1,849 reviews with shoppers praising the designs, price and variety of items on offer.
To get the 20% discount site wide shoppers simply use the code SELFCARE20 on any purchase before 11.59pm on July 7, 2025. The code can't be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or bundles and is a one-time use per customer.

The Space NK beauty advent calendar 2025 has finally graced our screens, and it's a stunner. Following the likes of Liberty, Selfridges and Charlotte Tilbury (see my full list of the best beauty advent calendars), the retailer has launched the waitlist for its cosmetics countdown, celebrating this all-important occasion with the opportunity to win up to £400 of Space NK credit. Not only will waitlist signees be the first to shop this indulgent skincare, fragrance, haircare and make-up haul, but they'll be in with a chance to win one of three prizes – £100, £200 or £400 to spend in Space NK – in the retailer's pre-release competition. What's more, you can sign up as many times as you like to guarantee more entries. This year's Space NK beauty advent calendar (£260, is looking pretty in purple with bright lilac, red, turquoise and green packaging. While it looks roughly the same size as 2024's offering, those hoping to buy will be happy to discover that this year's bundle contains an extra two products, totalling 35. For everything I know, including full worth and a few sneak peeks, scroll on. Price: £260 Worth: £1,150 Number of days: 25 Product highlights: Specific products have not been announced, but I'm told that we'll see the likes of K18, Summer Fridays and Phlur included. Available: Waitlist open now, launch date unknown Early details surrounding the Space NK beauty advent calendar are hard to find, but I spoke to my contacts at Space NK for the inside scoop on which brands are set to feature. Buyers will be able to enjoy Tatcha, Medik8, Rare Beauty, Augustinus Bader and Hourglass, in addition to the trio mentioned above. As for the product specifics, Space NK are keeping that information schtum. However, eagle-eyed beauty enthusiasts might have noticed the brand's ' what we're hoping to see included ' feature, which lists a handful of the above brands along with the following: It's certainly given me food for thought. While 2024's selection featured 33 products and 23 full-sizes, 2025 customers will be spoiled with 35 items and 26 full-sizes – though the calendar is an extra £10 year on year.

Lewis Hamilton's billionaire former boss reveals unusual eating habits including having same meal twice every day
YOU would expect billionaire Mercedes boss Toto Wolff to lead a lavish lifestyle when it comes to food. But the F1 chief likes to keep things simple with the exact same meal for both lunch and dinner. 1 Wolff has overseen Merc's glittering run of eight consecutive Constructors' Championships from 2014 to 2021 as well as six of Lewis Hamilton's driver's titles. The 53-year-old Austrian boss says he avoids distractions by eating the same dish twice a day with him often on the road. During his appearance on Desert Island Discs, he explained: "For me it is really reducing trivial things. "I'm wearing the same clothes, I'm eating the same food - even to the point that my assistants book the same hotel room for me every single year." Curiosity peaked when Wolff was quizzed about his preferred dish for breakfast, to which he replied: "The same dark bread - a pumpernickel with butter and some ham. He then delved into more detail on his coffee drinking habits and the two same meals he has to follow. He added: "Small cappuccino - because I take half a cappuccino because I want to have another half an hour later - and then it's chicken breast with tomato salad. And I have the same for dinner also!" Wolff could do without any distractions this season with Mercedes struggling to really make their mark. George Russell and Kimi Anontelli are both out of contract at the end of the year. British 27-year-old Russell is reportedly on the brink of signing a new £30m-a-year deal. Wolff was pictured this week on a yacht off the coast of Sardinia, laughing and joking with four-time world champion Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is set to stay put at Red Bull next season, but he could be on the move if his team continue to struggle.

Bella Hadid's new lychee perfume launches exclusively at Selfridges
The scent blends together lychees, wood and even a touch of birch smoke Bella Hadid has dropped a new perfume that's sure to turn heads. For those who want to 'like get it' Orebella Eternal Roots is exclusively available at Selfridges. It opens up bright with lychee, bergamot and pink pepper before softening into a heart of raspberry blossom, pink sugar, suede and labdanum. It delves further into soothing notes with a base of papyrus, vetiver, birch smoke and patchouli. The new scent was crafted by talented perfumer Jérôme Epinette. Epinette has worked on a myriad of incredible scents, including: Byredo's £150 Bal d'Afrique, Victoria Beckham's fragrance collection and my personal favourite vanilla Unmute by Noyz. Speaking on her new scent, Bella Hadid said: 'Eternal Roots is like a tree deeply rooting and blooming upwards into the sky, finding peacefulness in elevation and evolution. It's a scent that balances and blends strength and softness, encouraging you to savor the simple rituals that bring reflection and happiness.' The new Orebella scent differs from most perfumes on the market as it's alcohol free. This might make it more suitable for those with sensitive skin who experience a stinging sensation when applying perfume. It uses an 'Ôrelixir™ base containing snow mushroom, camellia oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, jojoba oil and shea oil instead. There aren't currently any reviews for the new perfume, as it's launched this week. On social media fans have been impatient for it to hit the stores. One fan said: "I'm obsessed with you my baby Orebella." While another wrote: "I bet it smells heavenly." Lychee has been massively popular in recent years with it also making appearances in Kayali's hit Eden Sparkling Lychee (£73 for 50ml) and a more floral take with Nest NY's Lychee Rose (£82 for 50ml). Eternal Roots is a more wooden take on the lychee trend that we're excited to see. Orebella Eternal Roots is available from £67 exclusively at Selfridges.
