'Ultra-rare' Oasis T-shirts from 90s and 00s go on sale for a jaw-dropping £1,000 in Selfridges

Oasis fever is continuing to peak as the Gallagher brothers take their reunion tour across the UK, Ireland and the US - and Selfridges is betting on fans to shell out a small fortune for a chance to own 'ultra-rare, vintage' merchandise. With Noel, 58, and Liam Gallagher, 52, performing together for the first time since the beloved indie rock band split up in 2009, demand for Oasis merchandise is at an all-time high. Now, fans can get their hands on vintage T-shirts from the 90s and early 2000s, the height of the duo's fame, at the luxury retailer, but be warned - prices start at £650 and reach an eye watering height of more than £1,200. The merchandise is part of Selfridges' Summer of Sound range which features vintage band and tour T-shirts and memorabilia curated by vintage platform Not/Applicable. As well as clothing branded with the Wonderwall hitmakers' stylings, shoppers can also look around for materials from: Prince, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Rolling Stones, and more - with everything available exclusively in-store at Selfridges London. Fans can pony up a cool £1,230 for a vintage Oasis T-shirt from the band's 1997 Be Here Now album era. The 'rare collectible' features a print of the band on the front and the album name in psychedelic rainbow font on the back. Another T-shirt from this era can be found in the collection for a relatively more affordable £650 - but it is in fact a bootleg garment that would have been sold outside concert venues or markets. The platform describes it as an 'unofficial but era-authentic piece created outside of official merchandise channels', adding that vintage bootleg garments are 'rare and highly sought-after by collectors' due to the 'DIY nature'. For the more minimalist fan, £1,131 will get you an authentic Oasis T-shirt from the band's official merchandise in the 90's. The garment, described as a 'true relic from Oasis' peak', is plain except for the band's name emblazoned across the front with a structured bar graphic. Fans can go even further back in time to the album that started it all with a black vintage long sleeve featuring the band's iconic logo and the word 'Definitely' across the front and 'Maybe' on the back. Definitely Maybe was Oasis' debut studio album that was released in 1994 and contained the instant hit songs Supersonic and Live Forever, both of which feature on their 2025 tour setlist. The Definitely Maybe T-shirt costs £985 and is a 'must-have for collectors and die-hard fans of the Manchester legends', says Not/Applicable. The band's second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, was released in 1995 and became a worldwide commercial success, selling up to 22 million copies globally by 2008 and becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time. Fans of this era will be delighted to see two T-shirts from the peak of Oasis' popularity in Selfridges' range, including a black T-shirt from their European tour and a white minimalist long sleeve. The tour T-shirt, priced at £975, features a blue-toned image of the Gallagher brothers performing on stage, with a question mark motif that establishes the album era. The back of the T-shirt showcases the same signature question mark as well as a list of tour locations from the time. Meanwhile, the white long sleeve T-shirt has a striking minimalist design on the front with a vertical red, white and blue stripe interrupted only by the Oasis logo. On the back is the band's name, a bold question mark, and the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? tagline - and it could be yours for £985. The range also includes a £975 vintage T-shirt featuring a black-and-white portrait of the Gallagher brothers staring down the camera - an image they have recreated for the 2025 tour. Perhaps the most recent garment in the range is a 2005 baby blue tour T-shirt from Oasis' sixth studio album in 2005, Don't Believe The Truth, also priced at £975. The front of the T-shirt features the classic Oasis logo with the album name in black and yellow underneath, while the back showcases tour dates and images of the band members. Don't Believe The Truth marked a period of major turbulence within the band, released after long-time drummer Alan White was asked to leave and was replaced by Zak Starkey, drummer for The Who and son of Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr. the most recent garment in the range is a 2005 baby blue tour T-shirt from Oasis' sixth studio album in 2005, Don't Believe The Truth, priced at £975 Fans may be left gawping at these prices, but there are some pieces that cost even more in Selfridges' Summer of Sound range. At the very top end of the range is an official vintage Snoop Dogg T-shirt from the 90s that features original licensed artwork of the iconic rapper. The black T-shirt was produced at the height of Snoop's early fame, said Not/Applicable, making it a 'highly collectible and authentic slice of hip-hop history' - all for a whopping £3,995. Selfridges' vintage Oasis merchandise drop comes after fans complained about the prices of the band's official merchandise collection with Adidas - yet the collection sold out immediately upon release. The exclusive Oasis x Adidas collection includes the iconic three-stripe T-shirts with the band's logo, matching tracksuits, jerseys, bucket hats, coach jackets, and more. Prices start at £40 for the bucket hat, reaching up to £85 for the track top, which can be matched with the £75 tracksuit bottoms. Fans who haven't been able to get their hands on the official Oasis merchandise have turned to reselling platforms like Vinted, where the garments are being sold for inflated prices, so consumers should be wary. On Reddit, one furious fan noted the jerseys being sold for upwards of £150 despite retailing at just £45.

Harry Styles fans convinced he's launching sex toy range after cryptic clip

Harry Styles fans think that his brand Pleasing might be about to drop some sex toys – and they might actually be onto something. The Watermelon Sugar singer, 31, launched his brand Pleasing in November 2021, a pop-up focused on selling nail varnishes and marketed as unisex. The brand has since expanded and become an online shop with a permanent retail deal with Selfridges in London. The shop now has a range that includes perfumes, scarves, lip balms, tote bags, tees, and now… vibrators? Teasing a new launch on the website, Pleasing has informed fans: 'Something Pleasing, Coming Soon.' Pretty innocuous, right? But then there's this message: 'This page is intended for individuals 18 years of age and older.' So what is the product that's only suitable for adult eyes? Pleasing encourages fans to be the first to sign up to learn about the launch, by entering their contact information. After signing up, fans then receive an email that reads: 'Message received. You've been so good at communicating what you want. 'On July 25th we'll be ready to give it to you online and in person at 251 Elizabeth Street, New York City.' Give us what though? Of course, that's not the only piece of evidence that's getting fans in a tizzy. On social media, Pleasing has shared some promotional adverts. The first post showed a business card for 'Something Pleasing' being slotted into a flip calendar. The caption read: 'You forgot 251 Elizabeth Street N.Y.C. 25th of July.' The second was a video of a finger tapping out Morse code on a Telegraph key with a glass of milk in the background. A woman presses her ear against a door and then gasps when the code finishes. 'For those playing at home,' reads the caption, with again, a New York address and a date for July 25- 27. A third video, posted on Thursday, showed a woman dialling a phone. Then a mobile vibrates on a couch. Then several other phones began vibrating, answered with a gasp or a moan – hubba hubba. Finally, the shot cuts to a red dial-up phone with what appears to be Harry's tattooed hand picking up the phone to answer the call. 'Say that again,' read the caption. The vibrating phones, suggestive gasps and moans, and teasing captions about 'playing at home' have fans convinced…this is the start of a sexy launch. 'Is this something sex related? Like sex toys or lubricants related? lol sorry,' said- kyloyun_i.stagram in the comment section of Pleasing's Instagram. 'Woah I missed a chapter Harry Styles is selling what now?' said brookeybaxter. 'Oh so we are getting sex toys,' said 'Emphasis on the vibrations, can't wait til the BIG reveal,' said Oceangirlx. 'My bingo card did not include my first ever Harry Styles merch in 2025 being literal dildos and vibrators,' said cherrissue on X. While fans were slightly baffled by this possible new venture, many were over the moon and already preparing to part with their pay cheque to afford something from this new sexual wellness range. More Trending '@Harry_Styles can i klarna the pleasing vibrator?' asked noacfc**t on X. 'harry styles pleasing vibrator rumors got my kickin my feet (i will be buying it),' said musclemansmom5. Metro has reached out to Pleasing for comment. Got a story? From distorted GAA jerseys to retro football shirts: Robyn Lynch's new collection at Brown Thomas

She's well known for referencing her father Mick's old GAA jerseys and using stereotypical Irish imagery as a form of communication in her collections . London-based Robyn Lynch made her debut at London Fashion Week in 2022 with an unforgettable menswear collection held in the old Selfridges hotel, and last year hosted an even more memorable presentation centring on the colour green, introduced by Mayo harpist Róisín Berkeley. Streetwear hoodies, tracksuits, gilets, fleeces and cargos along with Aran sweaters were given a fresh new twist in four different shades of green. One hoodie was emblazoned with an abstracted shamrock motif, another with a similarly abstracted tourist map of Ireland. [ Robyn Lynch: 'I want to put Ireland on the fashion map' Opens in new window ] The designer, a finalist that year for the Woolmark Prize, is not afraid to tackle stereotypical Irish imagery and give it a modern wallop and flamboyance. 'We wanted to take ownership of the green and the colour palette is the number one starting point,' she says of the collection. READ MORE From Malahide in Dublin, Lynch originally applied for fashion at the National College of Art and Design, but was accepted for textiles instead. 'It was the best thing that could have happened to me because you learnt about the fundamentals of colour, hue, handle, fabric,' she says. After that she did a menswear MA on what was then a new course at the University of Westminster, before launching her brand. 'I needed that time to learn about pattern cutting. I found amazing energy in men's fashion week in London at the time, whereas womenswear was harder to get into – menswear was a bit of a back door in. A lot of women borrow from boys – there doesn't have to be a bridge between them. Personally, I have always bought from menswear more than womenswear brands.' She returns to Ireland this month with a new collection for Brown Thomas - which goes on sale this Saturday - after menswear buyer Emer Keating visited her studio last year. 'We discussed how we could make the best product at a price point for her customers. This collection is smaller, super concise with nice fabrics, and wearable. We are teasing out the business elements and price points that are accessible and not as expensive as some of our things in the past. I am using cotton, for instance, instead of wool. Our colours include navy, bright red and black.' There are garment dyed cotton T-shirts screen printed with Celtic graphics and a distorted Dublin GAA jersey, an exclusive retro football jersey with long or short sleeves. 'We also have a classic crew knit and laser etched denim – a denim suit – cargos with matching overlay shirt with reflective embroidered threads of both. And for the first time, caps and beanies.' Robyn Lynch X Synflux sublimation printed sports jersey (€110) cotton drill cargo trouser (€175) Robyn Lynch black polar fleece hoodie (€115), cropped cotton drill jacket (€225) and screen printed linen trouser (€195) Robyn Lynch cotton knit crew neck jumper (€250) and laser etch denim jean (€215) Robyn Lynch red polar fleece hoodie (€115), cropped cotton drill jacket (€225) and cotton drill cargo trouser (€175) Robyn Lynch technical pull over jacket (€320) and cotton drill cargo trouser (€175) Robyn Lynch menswear Based in Hackney where there is a strong Irish community , she is a four-minute walk from the new V & A storehouse 'which is like walking into IKEA, everything is displayed on racks and stacked and you can see anything from their collections and it is free'. She has made unisex utility vests for the storehouse, fabric dyed, screen printed and embroidered in the UK. 'They needed to be functional and designed to fit every shape – we used a burnt orange with contrast details to reflect the wood surface – it was a nice project.' She also has another project dear to her heart, a collaboration with the Italian shoe company Geox, famous for their slim lightweight shoes. Mick, her father, is a huge fan with a pair in every colour lined up outside the hallway in their home. 'We have worked closely with them, and I've been back and forth to Italy – the shoe will be launched at the end of the year. I don't think anyone stocks them in Ireland as my dad has always had to get them abroad, so I will be the first to bring Geox to Ireland,' she says proudly. She comes from a strong supportive family. 'Everyone helps me emotionally and physically and makes my ideas come to life. It's not just the catwalk show, but with everything else.' Fashion designer Robyn Lynch and harpist Róisín Berkeley at the Robyn Lynch Ready to Wear Fall/Winter 2023-2024 fashion show as part of the London Fashion Week. Photograph: Victor Virgile/ Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images Asked what she loves most about her work, she recalls that the first time she saw people wearing the brand at a music festival in Barcelona. 'That gave me the greatest satisfaction. It is really rewarding seeing how people wear it and style it in their own ways. That is really huge for me. Celebrities [wearing it] are great, but when people buy it with their own money, that means so much.' The Robyn Lynch collection launches in Brown Thomas, Dublin, on Saturday, July 26th

If You Buy One Dress This Summer, Make It This Dissh Midi

As a summer person, my wardrobe goes hand-in-hand with Australian fashion brands. Being blessed with year-round sunshine, of course we can count on the Aussies to know how to create the best summer pieces. The thing is, though, sometimes my favourite labels come with a heavy shipping fee, so you can imagine my excitement when I found out one of my forever favourites, Dissh, was going to be stocked in the UK for the first time at Selfridges. Since spring, I've made the monthly pilgrimage to Bond Street (anyone who's travelled on the Central Line during a heatwave will know why this is an achievement) to see what the celebrity-loved brand has in the 'new in' section, and I can safely say I've never been disappointed. And it seems I'm not the only one, as there's one summer dress I can't stop seeing every time I go to a coffee shop, for a mooch in town or on my morning social scroll. Let me introduce you – or most likely, reintroduce you – to the 'Gabby' dress. So popular, the brown style sold out within days on both the Australian Diish site and at Selfridges, but I'm here to share the news that it's back – in all sizes. So, what's so great about it? ©Instagram/@sarahwisted The 100% cotton midi dress has an A-line shape, perfect for hot weather days when you want to avoid clothing sticking to your skin. The V-neck design with gathered detail is flattering on all chest sizes, the thicker straps mean you can wear your usual bra with it and it has pockets! No wonder it's selling out each and every time it gets restocked. According to the fashion insiders I keep seeing, chocolate brown is the most popular colour in the Gabby dress. Luckily, though, Dissh has recognised the demand and has already created it in soft sky blue (the new colour du jour) along with classic white. And if you want even more good news, you better keep reading. Shop: Dissh's Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Brown The viral Gabby Dissh dress has not only been restocked in all colours, there's also a brand new shade to add to the collection this month: butter yellow. Yes, everyone is still very much on the soft shade hype, so I can imagine this is going to have the same sell-out power as the brown iteration. And for another sprinkling of good news from me, there's a mini version of this dream summer dress, and it comes in all four colours – brown, white, blue and yellow – yes, really! Shop: Dissh's Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Yellow Dissh Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Yellow View offer So chic –I would style this yellow version with jelly sandals and a straw bag for daytime and switch to red shoes and a snake print bag for after-dark. View offer Shop the mini Gabby dress below, along with some of my other favourite Dissh summer dresses, and they're all available at Selfridges, so you can also go in and try them IRL. P.S., I've tried on everything from jeans and linen shorts to dresses, and it's refreshing to find a brand that's actually true to size. P.p.s, luckily, Australian sizing is the same as UK (so a 10 is a 10), which makes it even easier to shop. Shop: More Dissh Summer Dresses Dissh Gabby Bitter Plunge-Neckline Cotton-Poplin Mini Dress Price: £175 View offer If a midi dress isn't your thing (personally, I'm partial to dresses in all lengths) then you'll be pleased to know the Gabby dress everyone either owns, or wants, comes in a mini version too. Also in the four colours (brown, blue, yellow and white) I tried on the sky blue style and I love how it looks with a tan. Price: £175 View offer Dissh Max Semi-Sheer Knitted Mini Dress Price: £205 View offer So, I originally saw this knit mini dress on one of my favourite fashion insiders on Insta (@nlmarilyn) and I was sold by the black version. That was until I saw the white style, that it, and now I'm left with the hardest decision – either way, though, I'll be styling it with a low waist belt just like Marilyn. Price: £205 View offer Dissh Florence Shirred Cotton Midi Dress Price: £205 View offer Got an al fresco lunch on the cards? Wear a black dress. Plan to have after-work drinks? Opt for a black dress. It never fails, which is why everyone can wax lyrical about the LBD. But, if you want a style that's ever versatile then it's midi dress. I love the textured racer top detail on this Dissh version. Price: £205 View offer Dissh Melrose Spot-Print Long-Sleeve Maxi Dress Price: £255 View offer Another one I've been saving on my Insta is this Melrose pretty polka dot maxi dress. I love how the sheer dress has a removable slip – I would keep it on for dinner and also style the dress without the underneath layer to add over swimwear for a holiday look that feels different to the usual crochet beach dress vibe. Price: £255 View offer Dissh Tahlia Pleated Woven Midi Dress Price: £215 View offer In the same shade of blue that the viral Gabby Dissh dress comes in, I also enjoy this strappy style with its pleated top detail giving that 2025 dropped-hem dress vibe we've been seeing a lot of. I'm only 5'4' so I know this would be a maxi for me, but this makes me like it even more. Price: £215 View offer Dissh Liora Boat-Neck Cotton Maxi Dress Price: £195 View offer The neckline on this black dress is basically a work of art, isn't it? Like I've said earlier, a black dress is one of the most timeless and versatile colours to go for so you'll wear this one on heavy rotation from here on out. Anti Social Social Club SS25 installation wraps Selfridges' DeLorean in signature rose print

Raising awareness of a brand is about more than simply opening a pop-up and high-profile, attention-grabbing moves are key as well. That's why Anti Social Social Club (ASSC) has returned to Selfridges London with a new in-store installation, wrapping the department store's DeLorean DMC -12 in the brand's signature rose print. ASSC said that the rose is long associated with 'themes of beauty, detachment and lost love, [and] remains a recurring symbol' across its collections since the brand's beginnings. But as well as that, the DeLorean serves as a nod by ASSC to its ongoing performance car links 'tying together speed, nostalgia and the brand's unique worldview'. The brand's 'affinity with motors continues following most recently their 2024 collaboration with the 24 Hours of Le Mans, merging its visual language with one of the world's most historic endurance races'. Previous collaborations have explored tuning culture, street racing, and automotive subcultures worldwide. Of course, selling product is what it's all about and to accompany the launch, ASSC has released a Selfridges tee featuring its koi graphic, finished with reflective logo detailing. The koi tee is exclusive to Selfridges, while the wider collection features select core styles. 'We're proud to continue partnering with Selfridges after a strong launch last year. The DeLorean is such an iconic feature of the store and it's great to reimagine the car in true ASSC style,' said Connor Poole, ASSC's UK & EU brand director. The installation is in-store until 15 August, featuring the SS25 collection. It's also online via Selfridges' webstore and ASSC's webstore.
