Tell Us Which Beloved '90s Things Were Actually Terrible
I was barely alive in the '90s, but my generation loves to romanticize that decade. However, I'm sure it wasn't all Blockbuster and Dunkaroos. There are definitely some things that are way better in people's memories than they actually were IRL. For example, a lot of people reminisce about waiting all day by the radio for their favorite song to play so they can record it on a cassette. TBH, that sounds more frustrating than fun. And downloading music from LimeWire was basically Russian roulette with a computer virus. And a Tamagotchi seems like choosing to do that high school project where you take care of a fake baby for fun! So, in your opinion, what's something about the '90s that people are super nostalgic about, but it wasn't actually that great? Why? It's been almost 20 years since High School Musical debuted on Disney Channel, but those East High Wildcats remain forever in our hearts. And while Ashley Tisdale's character Sharpay can best be described as a piece of work, the actress herself is quite the opposite. And now she's expanding her wellness brand Being Frenshe with a new, mood-boosting product. Because we could all use a little of Sharpay's confidence, but with a calm, grounding touch. Being Frenshe, sold at Target, already has a highly-rated collection of bath and body products (plus a candle that shoppers love), but this next launch dives into an entirely different category. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 Beginning Aug. 18, shoppers will be able to purchase Being Frenshe's new Lip Wellness collection, sold exclusively at Target. It's "designed to nourish both lips and mood." The two main products in the collection include a Restoring Lip Balm, which is formulated with peptides and cupuacu butter to offer a buttery texture that deeply moisturized lips. This one is available in Being Frenshe's fan-favorite scents like Cashmere Vanilla, Solar Fleur, Moon Milk and Lavender Cloud. There's also a Nourishing Lip Mask which acts as an overnight treatment, formulated with Magnesium and Vitamin E. This product, however, is only offered in Cashmere Vanilla and Lavender Cloud. Both items in the line are expected to be priced under $14, an intentional move by the brand to make self-care more People Are Saying Fans are super excited for this new endeavor into lip care, delighting over the news across social media. "It's happening!" one person said on Instagram. "Everybody just stay calm!" "Yes, I've been waiting for this," said another. "I cannot wait to get my hands on these," cried another Being Frenshe loyalist. "So excited!" But overwhelmingly what the people seem to want? The return of Being Frenshe's Moon Milk scent. " is cute," says a fan. "Will most definitely buy but just bring back Moon Milk!" In case you missed it, Moon Milk was a limited-edition scent for the holiday season in 2024. It smells like "Moon Milk smells like "creamy oat milk, warm vanilla, fresh nutmeg and ginger flower," and followers of the brand absolutely loved it. Moon Milk was offered in Being Frenshe's Hair, Body and Linen Mist, as well as their Body Lotion. Will it come back? Who's to say? Let's all keep our fingers and toes crossed as we wait for the 2025 holiday season to see if it makes a return 'High School Musical' Star Just Made a Major Announcement and Millennials Are Loving It first appeared on Parade on Aug 13, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 13, 2025, where it first appeared.
