Police probe 'hit-and-run' near Central Forest Park
The force say the Sneyd Green smash involved a grey Vauxhall Astra and a white Vauxhall Antara. However the driver of the Antara is said to have left the scene.
The incident occurred just after 3.30pm on April 3. Today and Staffordshire Police has made a public appeal for information.

As part of the appeal the force has released an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Witnesses should call 101 and quote incident 527 of April 3.

Waterworld has refuted claims that a four-year-old girl who died had been in the wave pool. Staffordshire Police were called to reports of a four-year-old girl in a critical condition following an incident at Waterworld at Festival Park on Monday, August 8. The girl was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she later died of her injuries. According to reports, the incident took place in the lagoon area of the park. Other parents have since come forward to say their children got into difficulty in the wave pool. However, Waterworld has confirmed no waves were operating at the time of the tragedy. We confirm that this incident did not take place in the Wave Pool, nor were the waves on at the time. "We have worked in full cooperation with the authorities during their investigations, resulting in them permitting Waterworld to re pen as normal from Wednesday August 6. Waterworld welcomes around 250,000 visitors per year and, as you can imagine, our safety procedures are extremely rigorous. "In relation to your quoted visitor's comments about the Wave Pool… An audible siren sounds every time the waves are about to start and the waves build up gradually after the siren. The only entrance to the Wave Pool is via the shallow end, with a sloped beach entry, giving guests full visibility and discretion over whether to enter with their children. "Safety has always been, and will remain, our top priority so that every visitor can enjoy their time at Waterworld Aqua Park." Attack on car in North Yorkshire town
VANDALS have struck in a North Yorkshire street. The county's police force say a car was attacked in West Terrace, Greenfield Road, Scarborough between 9.30pm and 11.45pm on Friday, August 8. A police spokesman said: 'A red Vauxhall Astra had substantial damage including four slashed tyres, a broken wing mirror and a smashed passenger side window. 'We're particularly appealing for information about two young boys who were seen in the area at the time of the incident. The boys are described as 16 to 19 years old and were wearing dark coloured tracksuit top and bottoms. 'Please email if you have any information that could help our investigation. Drug dealer rumbled after stopping at Esso petrol station
A drug dealer was caught by police after the car he was driving was searched at an Esso petrol station. Officers found £300 in cash, cocaine and a mobile phone inside Chevez Davies' black Mazda. A subsequent search of the 32 year old's address turned up a large amount of the same drug as well as some scales. Davies, from Walsall, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine. A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A drug dealer has been jailed after officers found cocaine, cash and a mobile phone in the car he was driving in Rugeley. "Chevez Davies, 32, from Walsall, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday (31 July) after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine. "Officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams searched a black Mazda parked at the Esso petrol station on Western Springs Road, Rugeley, on Monday 22 April last year and found cocaine, £300 cash and a mobile phone." They added: "They went on to search an address in Aldridge on the same day and found a large amount of cocaine and scales."
