British doctor working in Gaza: We face daily influx of injured, amputated children

A British doctor working in the Gaza Strip said she faces a daily influx of children arriving at the hospital with amputated limbs.
British doctor Victoria Rose told The Sunday Times: "First there's the six-year-old girl whose left cheek and shoulder were amputated, then the two-year-old girl, the baby, the three-year-old orphan boy, the four-year-old boy, and the 11-year-old boy who lost all nine of his siblings."
The 53-year-old doctor added: "We always start with the children. Most of those on my list are injured by explosions that have injured young children, including amputated arms, legs, and hands," according to the Palestinian news agency Safa.
She continued, "It makes me feel very angry, but I can't stop thinking about them or stop working."
Rose noted that on most days, she works 14 hours a day until 11:00 PM, after which she tries to get some rest in the women's dormitory behind the intensive care unit. The Israeli bombing usually begins at 4:00 AM.
The British doctor noted that despite the long hours and exhaustion, she tries to continue her work by maintaining a video diary on Instagram to show people abroad, knowing that Israel does not allow foreign journalists into Gaza, and that doctors like her play an important role as "the eyes and ears of the outside world."
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 54,470 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 124,693 others. To date, the death toll is incomplete, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.

Awqaf Authority launches "Ita'am" Project for poor, needy, & frontline defenders
Sana'a - Saba: The General Authority of Awqaf launched on Wednesday the "Ita'am" (Feeding) project by distributing 130 heads of cattle to the poor, needy, and frontline defenders. During the launch ceremony, attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Miftah, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, praised the efforts and contributions of Awqaf Authority in addressing the needs of the poor, needy, and those defending the nation on the frontlines through humanitarian charity projects that alleviate their suffering and meet some of their needs. He emphasized the righteousness of Yemen's path under divine leadership, which has restored the country's dignity and honor. Minister Al-Saadi also highlighted Yemen's honorable stance in supporting the Palestinian people, a position made possible only by the wise leadership bestowed upon the nation by God. He urged Awqaf Authority to implement more charitable projects, especially under the current circumstances. For his part, the Chairman of the General Authority of Awqaf, Scholar Abdul-Majeed Al-Houthi, stated that the Authority has launched the "Ita'am" project for the fifth consecutive year, distributing sacrificial meat to the poor, needy, orphanages, centers for the blind, and frontline defenders, in line with its responsibility to manage endowment funds according to donors' intentions. He reiterated Yemen's sincere stance, rooted in the fear of God, at a time when Arab and Islamic regimes have failed to aid their Palestinian brethren.
