"One day terrorism will swallow Pakistan" UP CM Yogi Adityanath at Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 14 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday criticised Pakistan over its support of terrorism, warning that 'one day it will swallow Pakistan.'
Warning Pakistan over its 'misdeeds', CM Yogi Adityanath said that those who disturb the security of India 'will be put in a situation where no one will be able to attend their funeral.'
Addressing the public at 'Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra' in Lucknow, CM Yogi said, 'One day terrorism will swallow Pakistan also. Pakistan has become completely hollow. Operation Sindoor was a reply to Pakistan's misdeeds. Those who point a finger at India and disturb the security will be put in a situation where no one will be able to attend their funeral.'
Yogi also targeted Pakistani army officials for attending the funeral of terrorists and called it a 'failed nation.'
'The world has seen this shameful act of Pakistan, where its army officials and top leaders attended the funeral of terrorists. These things show that Pakistan is a failed nation. In the last 70-75 years, Pakistan has sown the seeds of terrorism only,' CM Yogi said.
CM Yogi Adityanath also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for visiting Adampur Air Base in Punjab yesterday to uplift the spirit of the armed forces
'We are thankful to PM Modi, who visited Punjab's Adampur Air Base and uplifted the spirit of the armed forces,' he said.
UP CM launched 'Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra' in Lucknow to laud Indian armed forces for their valour in Operation Sindoor.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP UP President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh and other UP cabinet ministers were also present at the event.
Deputy CM thanked the central leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conducting the Tiranga Yatra.
'We thank the central leadership and PM Modi for conducting this Tiranga Yatra to express gratitude for the courage and sacrifice of our Armed forces. The army has given a befitting reply to Pakistan whenever it has made efforts to disrupt our peace and harmony through terrorism. I am thankful to the army for their efforts to destroy the hotspots of terrorism...' Pathak said , addressing the gathering.
The 'Tiranga Yatra' was launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to honour the valour of the Indian soldiers and inform citizens about the success of Operation Sindoor. The campaign will continue till May 23.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 as a decisive military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. Indian Armed Forces targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the death of over 100 terrorists affiliated with terror outfits like the Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen.
After the attack, Pakistan retaliated with cross-border shelling across the Line of Control and Jammu and Kashmir as well as attempted drone attacks along the border regions, following which India launched a coordinated attack and damaged radar infrastructure, communication centres and airfields across 11 airbases in Pakistan.
After this, on May 10, an understanding of the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan was announced. (ANI)

State pushed back 330 illegal foreigners: CM
1 2 3 Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday informed a one-day special sitting of the legislative assembly that about 330 illegal foreigners have been pushed back from the state so far and govt is waiting for floods to recede to send back another 35 individuals. "Of the 330 people we have pushed back, none of them have returned. It is impossible for them to return now," he added. He said the process of evicting illegal foreigners from Assam will now be intensified and expedited. Sarma said a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court recently ruled that the IEA Act is in force and the state govt can proceed under its provisions.

Probe launched against Tripura Cong leader for ‘defaming' CM
Agartala: Police on Monday launched a search against Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Md Sahajan Islam for alleged defaming narratives and expressions against chief minister Manik Saha on Sunday night in a Facebook live. The officer-in-charge of East Agartala police station, Rana Chatterjee, said Sahajan's deliberation has triggered political unrest and hurt the communal sentiment of the people. He had made derogatory comments on the professional and personal life of the CM that is completely illegal. "Indian law doesn't permit the citizen to make a personal attack on the head of a state," Chatterjee said, adding that a specific case has been registered against Islam, who is absconding, based on a complaint and police have also launched an investigation. He allegedly made several posts on social media in communal lines alleging that saffron cadres obstructed the celebration of Bakri Eid in several locations of the state, and in a few places, they stopped the transportation of cows.
