Kate Middleton-loved handbag brand just slashed £255 off its work-ready tote bag
A stylish and practical handbag is a staple in all of Kate Middleton 's outfits, whether she's off duty or attending a formal Royal function, and one of her favourite brands to carry is Aspinal of London. One of her most-carried bags is the Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair Bag, which retails for £625.
The brand is known for its luxury handbags which often come with a higher price point to reflect the quality, which is why when it announced its summer sale, we couldn't wait to get our hands on a bargain or two. One that immediately caught our eye was the Regent Tote, which has been reduced from £425 to £170, marking a huge £255 discount.
The bag is the perfect investment piece for your wardrobe thanks to its timeless, classic design. It has a simple rectangular silhouette with two top straps that can be easily carried over your shoulder, on your elbow or in your hand.
Its large, roomy size also means this is the perfect bag to take with you to the office, or if you want to carry something a little more sophisticated than a standard tote bag while running errands. It's been designed to comfortably fit a 14 inch laptop inside, and has a spacious interior that still gives you plenty of room for other items.
The Regent Tote is made from full-grain leather which looks luxurious and elegant, not to mention makes it hard wearing and durable enough to be toted around constantly so you can get plenty of wear out of it. You can choose from either black or burgundy colourways – both are on sale for the same price – not to mention if you want to pay a little extra, you can get personalisation done to make it truly unique.
Other brands have also launched summer sales, offering great savings. In the Amazon Prime Day sale, the Radley London Henrietta Place Tote Bag has been reduced from £259 to £79, saving you £180. Kate Spade has also reduced the price of its Do It All Large Tote from £295 to £149, saving you 49% on three of its five colourways.
However neither offer as big a saving as the Aspinal of London Regent Tote, which will save you £225. And considering Princess Kate is such a huge fan of the brand, we think this is the perfect opportunity to get your hands on a Royal-approved accessory without breaking the bank.

Give your kids an immersive dino experience as Jurassic Earth comes to Scotland
The show stars a giant T-Rex, triceratops, brontosaurus, and other lifelike dinosaurs like spinosaurs, velociraptors, and baby dinos As Glasgow continues to embrace dinosaur fever this summer, a prehistoric spectacle is gearing up to storm into Braehead Arena for the September weekend, promising a jaw-dropping experience for families. The hit show Jurassic Earth is set to take over the arena on Friday, September 27, bringing lifelike animatronic dinosaurs to the stage for a thrilling 75-minute interactive adventure, Glasgow Live reports. Two performances will take place on the day, at 12 noon and 3pm, with tickets now available through the Braehead Arena website. Featuring an extraordinary cast of creatures, the show includes a 22-foot-long, 14-foot-tall walking Tyrannosaurus Rex, reportedly the largest in the world, alongside an 18-foot triceratops, a towering 26-foot brontosaurus, and a range of other species. Dinosaur fans can also expect to meet characters like Spencer and Stevo the spinosaurs, Rocky and Richie the velociraptors, Dash the carnotaurus, Tank the triceratops and a host of baby dinosaurs. The show promises up-close encounters, audience participation, songs, dances and even dinosaur ranger training for the younger crowd. Russ Smith, CEO of Braehead Arena, said the upcoming event is a perfect fit for the venue's future vision. 'We have big plans here at Braehead Arena so what better way to kick them off than with the biggest show of all – literally,' he said. 'These dinosaurs are incredible, I saw the show with my kids and they loved it so it was something I definitely wanted to bring to the arena. 'Apparently space is sometimes an issue for the larger dinos so this is the perfect venue – we certainly don't have any concerns on that front so let's go BIG. 'We want to be everything to everyone here at Braehead Arena, so this amazing modern marvel of a show is perfect for us… you'll have a roaring good time.' At the centre of the action is Ranger Danger, the audience's guide through the experience. Children will take part in a special training session to prepare them in case of an unexpected dinosaur escape, all part of the immersive fun. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! The show has toured successfully across the UK, selling out venues with its high-energy performances that aim to educate and entertain. It's been billed as the 'original dinosaur show' and is recommended for families with children of all ages, and even parents looking to get in on the action. Organisers say the event offers a great way to 'keep the kids occupied and burn off a LOT of energy to make the September bank holiday fun for parents too'. Jurassic Earth adds to the wave of dinosaur-themed events sweeping Glasgow this summer, following on from the popular Lost Kingdom trail and exhibitions throughout the city.

Wooden floors will appear cleaner and less scratched if you use 20p common item
Wooden floors can quickly collect dust, which can wear down the surface. In recent years, wooden floors in homes have soared in popularity due to their sleekness, as well as their cleaning convenience. Spills and stains are easier to wipe up on hardwood flooring making them appeal more to people with pets and young children. However, they can become dirtier during the summer months. This is because dust is lighter and more airborne in summer. Static electricity can also build up on wood as dry air rises, causing dust and other debris to stick and create a gritty layer that feels like sandpaper. However, the experts at Luxury Living Fort Lauderdale have now shared an easy way to restore your natural floors shine as well as how to keeping them clean and all you need are some teabags. They said: 'Throughout history, black tea has been used to mop hardwood floors. The tanic acid in black tea helps clean and add shine otherwise dull, old flooring.' The Express reports black tea is an old-school method to clean wooden floors as it contains a substance called tannins, which is acidic so it can easily cut through dirt, dust and grease build up. It naturally shines wood to make the floor look polished and also slightly darken minor scratches to help make them less noticeable. Tea cannot fill in a deep scratch to make it disappear, but it helps make a surface level scratch blend to the surrounding wood to improve the floor's overall appearance. How to clean a wooden floor with tea bags You will need: A kettle (or pot) Five to six tea bags A mop bucket Method: All you need to do is fill up a kettle, (or a pot) and wait until the water has boiled. When the water is boiling hot, pour it into a heatproof bowl and add five to six teabags. Leave the bowl alone for 10 to 15 minutes until the water is completely cool and safe to handle. If the water is still hot, you can add a few ice cubes to quickly make the water cold. Then, remove the teabags and carefully pour the mixture into your mop bucket. Use the solution to mop the floor like you normally would. Make sure to wring out the mop each time you use it on the floor, and then let the floor dry. Your floor should be completely clean and look better-maintained without having to spend money or use a harsh chemical cleaner.

Coronation Street icon opens up on ‘imposter syndrome' after 34 years on TV
Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney has opened up about living with Imposter Syndrome, and how it impacts her in the acting industry. Claire currently plays Cassie Plummer in the ITV soap, but became a household name when she joined the cast of Brookside. In 1991, Claire's first scenes as Lindsey Corkhill aired. She then played the role until the show's end in 2003. It was landing this role that saw Claire first develop feelings of Imposter Syndrome, which often sees someone experience self-doubt over a long period of time. 'I kept quiet, watched and learned. I have terrible Imposter Syndrome. I still do now in Corrie, I still get it sometimes', the star said recently. In her chat with The Speakmans on their podcast, Claire added: 'Oh god all the time, all the time. Like what you said before, your instinct is like, 'Oh I've been very lucky', well actually I worked hard and I've earned the miles, do you know what I mean, I've earned my stripes, but I do still get it. 'I spent six years being shocked every time my contract got renewed, six years, even now, I never expect a contract to get renewed. I'm like why should we think [that]? Our business is not based on safety is it and security, it's transient.' Claire also said that she believes having no expectations with things like contracts keep her feeling humble. 'I still love learning, I still go for singing lessons, I'm always watching, like you know, working with Bill Roche, watching him work, I mean he's fantastic, Simon Gregson, I watch these people who have been in the show for years and I'm still learning.'
