Lieutenant-Colonel Iman Tajik, Spokesman for Iran's Operation True Promise III: We Control the Skies Over Israel; The Success of Our Missile Attack Sends a Message to Israel's 'War Mongering' American
Lieutenant-Colonel Iman Tajik, spokesman for Operation True Promise III, said in a June 17, 2025 address on IRINN TV (Iran) that Iran has obtained 'complete control of the skies of the occupied territories.' He claimed that Israelis have become 'completely defenseless' against Iran's missile attacks.
Tajik said that the previous night's missile strike, which killed eight Israeli civilians, should have sent a clear message about Iran's strength to Israel's 'delusional and war-mongering' American ally.
He added that the 11th missile salvo launched that night as part of Iran's retaliatory Operation True Promise III included the Fattah missile, shook the bomb shelters of the 'Zionist cowards' and caused confusion among Israeli air defenses, leading them to strike their own positions.

Araghchi: US crossed a red line with attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities
Shafaq News/ Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday blamed the United States for the aftermath of its airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, denouncing the assault as a clear violation of international law. Speaking in Istanbul, Araghchi accused Washington of launching an unprovoked attack on the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan sites while Tehran remained engaged in diplomatic efforts, charging President Donald Trump with bowing to Israeli pressure and sabotaging negotiations. 'By targeting internationally monitored nuclear sites, the United States has crossed a red line,' Araghchi warned. 'Iran will respond decisively to US aggression and Israeli provocation.' He urged the UN Security Council to convene an emergency session to hold Washington accountable for breaching the UN Charter. 'Diplomacy must stay alive,' he stressed, 'but after this strike, Iran will exercise its full right to self-defense.' Regarding the Strait of Hormuz closure, Araghchi stated that "multiple options are on the table." Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vowed, in a statement, to target US military positions across the region, condemning the strikes as a 'war crime' carried out in coordination with Israel and pledging to escalate the True Promise 3 campaign, which has already launched 20 waves of missiles and drones into Israel. 'This aggression only strengthens our resolve to advance peaceful nuclear science,' the IRGC declared, cautioning that Iran now holds 'the legitimate right to retaliate using means beyond the imagination of the aggressor alliance,' while promising that any future attacks would provoke responses severe enough to leave perpetrators 'regretting their actions.' The fallout comes after US strikes hit Iran's major nuclear facilities on Sunday—an operation confirmed by President Trump. The Israeli military spokesperson Effie Defrin confirmed close coordination with the US in the recent assault, revealing that Iran had fired 20 missiles earlier in the day—most of which were allegedly intercepted. Israel responded by striking several launch sites.

Iraq: No radioactive contamination detected after US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites
Shafaq News/ Iraq's National Commission for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Control (I-NRC) announced on Sunday that no radioactive contamination has been detected following the US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. In an official statement, the commission's head, Fadel Hawi Mazban, said the central emergency operations room had been activated from the outset of the regional escalation to monitor and respond to any radiological or nuclear incidents. 'Since the beginning of the Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities on June 13, 2025, our emergency response units have implemented appropriate procedures to counter and respond to such events,' Mazban stated. He added that, following the latest US strikes, all radiation monitoring systems, early warning detectors, and background radiation measurements at Iraq's border crossings indicated normal readings. 'All measurements remained within natural background radiation levels,' Mazban affirmed, stressing that the findings are consistent with the commission's earlier assessments and preparations since the beginning of the crisis.
