‘There is no falsehood in my claims': Japanese teen idol files police report after alleged rape and pregnancy by producer's boyfriend

Malay Mail2 days ago
TOKYO, Aug 3 — A 19-year-old Japanese teen idol has filed a police report after allegedly being raped and impregnated by the boyfriend of the group's producer and influencer, Yurinya.
The allegations were first leaked by Japanese YouTuber Korekore on August 1 and later confirmed by Yurinya in a social media statement, according to a report by Koreaboo.
Yurinya named her former partner in the statement, saying, 'I am deeply saddened and feel a strong sense of responsibility that someone I trusted, Taichi Saito, committed such an extremely irresponsible and inconsiderate act.'
'As a producer and an individual, I want to make it clear that I strongly denounce his actions and have completely severed all personal and professional ties with him.'
Korekore claimed that the idol, a member of Japanese idol group Pretty Chuu — identified as Ten-ten in Yurinya's statement and as Shuna Amamiya in Japanese media reports — was secretly undressed and filmed while asleep at Yurinya's home.
Although Saito later apologised to her via Line messages, it was alleged that he subsequently raped her while she was asleep, resulting in a pregnancy and later, an abortion.
Korekore alleged that Saito pressured Amamiya to stay silent and offered a settlement of ¥1 million (approximately RM28,878).
Amamiya reportedly reached out to Korekore for help before filing a police report.
Yurinya said she first learned of the incident through the leaked post and confirmed its accuracy after speaking with those involved.
She pledged to prioritise the affected member's well-being and strengthen the group's support systems.
In the statement, Yurinya also apologised to the idol involved, the other Pretty Chuu members, the staff and the fans for the worry and trouble caused by the incident.
Pretty Chuu management had previously cited 'chronic illness' as the reason for Amamiya's hiatus.
A recent review of the group's official Instagram page showed only five members, despite Pretty Chuu debuting with six.
In a Twitter update yesterday, Korekore shared conflicting accounts of the incident: Amamiya claimed, 'There was no consent while in a drunken state,' while Saito said, 'They kissed me, and it was consensual.'
Japanese police are reportedly reconstructing the situation, as the incident occurred in private and evidence remains inconclusive.
Korekore revealed that Amamiya visited a hospital to request medical records in order to clarify whether her pregnancy was linked to the alleged assault or a previous relationship.
'The documents will arrive by mail in a few days,' they said.
Amamiya has announced her withdrawal from idol activities and asserted, 'There is no falsehood in my claims.'
Korekore urged the public to refrain from slandering either party as investigations are ongoing.
Pretty Chuu debuted on June 16 and is described by its producer as embodying 'strength,' 'transience,' 'innocence' and 'pure maiden heart.'

The convict pleaded guilty in the Ayer Keroh sessions court to four counts each of rape, sodomy and sexual penetration with an object, as well as five counts of physical sexual assault. He was charged with committing the offences when the victim was 12 at a house in Kampung Tanah Merah, Krubong, between November 2022 and July 2023, Harian Metro reported. He was altogether sentenced to 166 years in jail, including 22 years on each rape charge, and nine strokes of the rotan for the offences. Judge Rohatul Akmar Abdullah ordered the prison sentences to run concurrently from the date of his arrest on Aug 18, 2023, but for the whipping to be administered consecutively. Ismanira had no sinister intent towards Zayn, court told

The Petaling Jaya sessions court will decide on Oct 31 whether Ismanira Abdul Manaf is guilty of neglecting Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin in a manner likely to cause him physical harm. PETALING JAYA : Text messages Ismanira Abdul Manaf sent to her husband before and on the day their son Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin went missing do not indicate any harmful intent towards the boy or herself, a child psychologist told the sessions court here today. Dr Noor Aishah Rosli, 49, said her evaluation of the couple's WhatsApp conversations indicated that Ismanira was merely venting her emotions to her husband, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari. Among the messages purportedly sent by Ismanira include 'stress nak mati' (I'm stressed to death), 'rasa macam nak bunuh diri' (I feel like killing myself), 'lantak la nak hidup ke mati' (I don't care whether I live or die), and 'budak ni elok je, takde la aku pukul dia' (this boy is fine, I didn't hit him). 'This is a wife pouring out her emotions to her husband. It's normal, especially from a mother caring for two children with autism. 'From a psychological point of view, we cannot conclude that she intended to commit a crime based on those words,' said the fifth and last defence witness. Noor Aishah added that it was not unusual for people to use such strong language when confiding in their partner, saying it did not mean they had harmful intentions. While Ismanira might have been emotionally exhausted when she spoke about taking her own life, Noor Aishah said it appeared to be merely an emotional outburst aimed at gaining Zaim's attention. When asked by Ismanira's lawyer Haresh Mahadevan whether Zayn walking a few steps behind his mother before he went missing could amount to neglect, Noor Aishah disagreed. 'Neglect must be assessed from the child's birth until the day of the incident. Everything prior to the incident appeared normal. 'It was only on that day that he happened to be walking behind her, and a few seconds later, he went missing. That alone cannot be defined as neglect,' she said. She added that no professional body in the world would consider a mother walking ahead of her child as an act of neglect. Ismanira and Zaim, both aged 30, were charged last year with neglecting Zayn in a manner likely to cause him physical harm. However, Zaim was acquitted after the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against him. The alleged offence took place in PJU Damansara Damai between noon on Dec 5, 2023 – when Zayn was reported missing – and 9.55pm the next day, when his body was found in a stream near his home at Apartment Idaman, Damansara Damai. Deputy public prosecutors Raja Zaizul Faridah Raja Zaharudin, Aqharie Durranie Aziz and Nur Sabrina Zubairi are leading the prosecution. Judge Syahliza Warnoh fixed Oct 31 for a decision.
