#SHOWBIZ: Alya Iman on relationship with Amir Ahnaf: 'We're just friends'
That was the response given by young actress Alya Iman when asked if she was in a romantic relationship with actor Amir Ahnaf.
Often seen sharing videos of them together on her social media platforms, it had sparked speculation about them being in a relationship.
Alya, 24, insisted that they were just friends and the videos shared were simply to promote 'Pabila Dia Tersenyum', the latest drama they were starring in together.
"I deliberately uploaded the moments that we enjoyed together during the filming of this drama and shared them on social media," she said in a recent news report.
"Even before this drama, I had shared a video of us together because we have been friends for three years now."
While many local entertainment enthusiasts had expressed their 'consent' if the pair were truly romantically involved, Alya said that she may not know what the future holds for her, but at the moment, she is comfortable simply being a friend to Amir.
"Love and fate are in God's hands. I don't know if he is my soulmate. The important thing now is that we are just good friends."
