The Soccer Tournament (TST) is a thrilling 7v7 tournament based in North Carolina which sees former professionals and even football legends come together to battle it out for the winner-takes-all kitty.
It was founded in 2014 and this year's event is taking place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary from June 4-9.
Many big names have agreed to part, including the likes of Sergio Aguero, Diego Godin, Andy Caroll, Nani and Sebastian Giovinco.
But also in the lineups include several players who Scottish football fans will be familiar with.

Among those include Dedryck Boyata and Brandon Barker who both won league titles in Scotland, with Celtic and Rangers respectively.
The Belgian defender was part of Brendan Rodgers' Invincible team, while Barker helped Rangers go a full league season unbeaten under Steven Gerrard to stop the Hoops' 10-in-a-row bid.
Boyata has been selected to play for the Socceroof team and Barker will represent Wrexham Red Dragons, despite never playing for Wrexham A.F.C in his career.
Wrexham are one of many professional teams to have a side competing in the event.

Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Bournemouth, West Ham, Plymouth Argyle, Villareal, Cagliari and Club America are some of the other clubs involved.

Manchester United legend Nani has his own team called Nani FC, and he has called upon ex-Rangers defender Bruno Alves.
Across both the men and women tournaments, there will be 64 teams competing with 134 matches on the calendar and the winners will be crowned on June 9.

Legendary defender names the manager Man Utd must replace Ruben Amorim with
Iconic former AC Milan and Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly says Manchester United 'need' to hire Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique. The Spaniard enjoyed a sensational season with PSG, winning the Champions League, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France. The French champions were superb in Europe, knocking out Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal before thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final. Clearly PSG have no intention of letting the 55-year-old leave after the immense success of the last campaign, but Desailly reckons Manchester United should be trying to tempt him away from Paris. The 116-cap France international knows that things change quickly in football and the dream situation Enrique is currently in with PSG could turn sour in the near future. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your team in the link so we can send you football news tailored to you. Desailly feels Manchester United should be ready to replace Ruben Amorim with the Spaniard whenever possible. 'Football moves quickly and say that next season he makes too many mistakes, he might get into conflict with players like Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue as they grow and have a bigger say on the system,' Desailly told Oddspedia. 'Soon they will be able to say no to the coach and his influence and because anything can happen, he might end up in the Premier League. 'We are talking about something that didn't happen 20 years ago, but tactical coaching is now in the Premier League thanks to Claudio Ranieri and Jose Mourinho and so many other coaches. The Premier League has grown. 'Luis Enrique would bring a new dynamic and if I was at Manchester United, I'd be asking Luis Enrique to come to my club. 'They have tried all kinds of coaches and now all eyes are on Enrique because he can build a philosophy from scratch. Manchester United need Luis Enrique.' Speaking in 2023, Enrique made it clear that he would like to manage in the Premier League at some point in his career. 'I have a special attraction – I would like to go to England to work,' he said. 'I follow English football a lot, more than Spanish football. 'In the Spanish league, I do follow the biggest teams and little else – but it's very difficult for it to happen.' It would certainly be a huge coup for the Red Devils as Enrique is now rated as one of the very best managers on the planet. His treble with PSG is the second of his career having achieved the feat with Barcelona in 2015 as well. While Desailly says Manchester United should be looking to bring in Enrique, he has suggested that Red Devils defender Leny Yoro could be best served by leaving the club. More Trending Desailly rates the 19-year-old very highly, but says that it is hard for any player to shine at Manchester United at the moment. 'It's so difficult for Leny Yoro in the Manchester United system,' said the World Cup winner. 'If you look at Pau Cubarsi for Barcelona, he came into a team with a clear winning mentality. 'When you come to Manchester United at the moment, things are not smooth. You can prove that you're good, but for how long? 'They are not the best conditions for Yoro, but when you look at him you can see that he has the ability to become a top defender.' Grealish's angry reaction to being left out of Man City's Club World Cup squad
Jack Grealish is set to miss out on Manchester City's Club World Cup squad and is frustration appeared evident in a comment he made on social media with his future unclear Jack Grealish has issued a telling response to his Manchester City situation with the playmaker due to be left out of the squad that will head to the Club World Cup this summer. The Premier League side are set to head to FIFA's newly expanded tournament without their £100million man - seemingly pushing him closer to the exit door. Pep Guardiola is due to take all of his big names, but Grealish won't make the cut. He has tumbled down the pecking order in Manchester, which has fuelled links of a move away, and missing out this summer could prove to be the final nail in the coffin. Former Aston Villa frontman Gabby Agbonlahor has hit out at the treatment Grealish has been subjected to by the City boss - with talkSPORT claiming he was "not happy" in a post. One fan claimed Guardiola was well within his rights given Grealish's form. That caught his attention and the 29-year-old responded: "Haha I've been bad lately? Scored three goals in my last three appearances over 45 mins but okie dokie love x." He also added: "What u want me to do, score a hatty in 20?" There is likely to be interest from clubs in England and throughout Europe with Grealish accepting that a fresh start at a top club, where he can play regular football, may be in his best interests. He is desperate to regain his spot with the Three Lions after missing out on recent squads and last summer's Euros. City have already been active in the market and have agreed a deal worth £46.3m to sign AC Milan's Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. They are also in talks to sign Lyon playmaker Rayan Cherki - both men would further hamper Grealish's game time. Grealish joined City in 2021 for a then-British record fee and remains the club's most expensive player of all time. He played a key part in the Treble-winning side back in 2023. He has claimed three Premier League titles with the club, but his influence has gradually declined. Guardiola said recently: "Of course, Jack has to play. He's an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. It didn't happen this season and last season either. He needs to do it - with us or another place. It's a question for Jack, his agent, and the club. If he stays it will be fine and he fought like he fought from day one to make a contribution."

Battery storage next to Midlothian school approved despite safety fears
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Scottish Ministers have given the go ahead to a battery storage site less than 100 metres from a school campus despite safety concerns. Midlothian councillors urged the Scottish Government's Energy Consent Unit to consider the fact the new Battery Energy Storage System, known as BESS, would be so close to the Dalkeith campus which has around 2,500 children and young people in its roll. But a meeting of the council's planning committee next week will hear the BESS has been approved with no mention of fire risks or the proximity of the school in the Minister's decision. A report to councillors says: "The Ministers are satisfied that landscape and visual impacts, impacts on traffic, impacts from noise, coal mining legacy issues, decommissioning, and pollution prevention can all be mitigated via the use of conditions. "The determination letter does not make any comment on fire risk or the safety of the schools campus." Ministers determined the benefits of the new site would be vital to meeting net zero targets They said: "Energy storage such as the proposed development provides will be vital in that context to help maintain the balance between supply and demand, to ensuring security of supply, and to reducing the curtailment of renewable generators under grid constraints which would otherwise result in a loss of valuable renewable generation. "Secure and stable energy supply is a fundamental need of a prosperous economy. As well as the potential economic benefit to local and national businesses during construction, the proposed development would provide further benefit to the economy through its contribution to underpinning energy security and flexibility.' Midlothian councillors wrote to the Energy Consent Unit, which is responsible for decisions about BESS applications, to raise their concern about it being placed on a 12 hectare field behind the school campus which includes Dalkeith and St Davids High Schools as well as Saltersgate School and Woodburn Primary School. Councillor Ellen Scott, SNP administration education spokesperson, told a meeting of the planning committee in December that there had been an explosion and major fire in Merseyside four years ago at a battery storage unit where it was reported the temperature on the site rose to 40 degrees Celsius within two minutes. She said: 'This site is just 70 metres from the edge of the schools campus where 2,500 of our young people, some very young at three years old and some with severe complex needs, are going to be.' Her comments were supported by Councillor Dianne Alexander who also said the site was over a 'coal seam and gas pipe' She said: 'I just think this is too dangerous for us to allow.' The proposals for the site include a BESS with a capacity of 200 megawatts with 168 storage containers spread across four compounds. The containers will be used to house Lithium-ion batteries and the compounds will be hard surfaced and enclosed with three metre high fencing. The report to councillors next week says: "The Scottish Ministers in making their determination on the application, have balanced all relevant considerations, decided what weight is to be given to each and reached a view as to where the balance of benefit lies. "On balance, it is considered that the impacts of the proposed development are acceptable in the context of its benefits, and that the development is supported by relevant planning and energy policies.'
