Hello and welcome to the second leg of the Women's Champions League quarter-final between Arsenal and Real Madrid. It is the Gunners with all the work to do this evening but they are at home so the Emirates atmosphere may see them through to the semis.
In the first leg, Real Madrid were spectacular on a horrid pitch to beat Arsenal 2-0. And although she didn't get on the scoresheet, Caroline Weir was on form. The question will be if they can replicate the performance away from home.
Arsenal have a lot to overturn but if they score early it will rip the game wide open. We will be taking a look at what each club have said before this game and what the team news is.
The line-ups for this evening's match will be revealed shortly so stay tuned before kick-off at 8pm GMT. Share

Former Hibs player turns life around after drunken Edinburgh incident he won't forget
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Footballer Victor Palsson was banned from every nightclub in Edinburgh when he was a Hibs player after a drunken incident, but the athlete has since turned his life around. The Icelander was caught urinating against a wall, which resulted in a blanket ban. But after quitting the booze, Palsson got his career back on track. The former Liverpool player has enjoyed a career which has taken him from New York to Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium - and now Plymouth. He spent a stint in the capital with the Hibees in 2011, which he says was a life-changing experience, reports the Sunday Mail. The 34-year-old said: 'It was a very long time ago. I was a young lost boy back then. 'Looking back, I was young and not really aware of the importance of life and being a professional footballer. I made a lot of mistakes, especially at Hibs. It started off OK but then it wasn't good. 'I didn't leave in a good way either, so I think my time there is remembered for the wrong things. There was a big incident, a six month ban from all the nightclubs. But as I said, I was lost. 'It helped me focus, 100 percent. A few years later I made some big decisions to sort out my life. I'm happy I did that. I gave up drinking. The time at Hibs played a part in that. 'I just couldn't handle my drinking. I gave it up and haven't had a drink for almost 11 years now. I had to focus and I've managed to make a decent career.' Palsson is now at Plymouth Argyle who were relegated from the English Championship last season. That was despite the efforts of Scottish striker Ryan Hardie, who bagged 12 goals for the Pilgrims. And Palsson insists he could play for Scotland. He said: 'Ryan is a really good player and I hope we can hold on to him. 'For two years, he's hit double figure goals in the Championship. He talks to us about Scotland. He's a great professional who wants to play for his country and I think he's done enough to get a chance - even in a friendly. 'Hopefully we'll see him play for Scotland in the future. Ryan is a great finisher and so quick. He's rapid.' Palsson, along with his Iceland team-mates, left Scotland looking punch drunk at Hampden on Friday night as they secured a 3-1 friendly win. Iceland fully deserved their shock win over Clarke's men at Hampden on Friday night - even if they were helped by mistakes from rookie keeper Ciaran Slicker. Palsson was delighted with the result and admits they took advantage of the goalie's fragility. He said: 'We played some great football in the first half and didn't give away many chances. We suffered a bit in the second half but overall it was a fair win. 'I try to put myself in the shoes of the young goalkeeper. He came on after two minutes and we could see with his first few kicks, he wasn't 100 percent. 'We just started pressing him and it gave us blood on the teeth. We heard the crowd boo at half-time so we just said, keep doing what we're doing. It was a good win for us.'

Florian Wirtz to Liverpool transfer agreement close with final £118m compromise
Liverpool are expected to make a fourth and final official offer to Bayer Leverkusen to sign playmaker Florian Wirtz, with a compromise over the transfer fee concluding talks Liverpool are expected to make a FOURTH and final offer to Bayer Leverkusen in order to find a compromise on a transfer fee for Florian Wirtz. Liverpool have been locked in talks with the German club over the signing of Wirtz for weeks and negotiations are finally reaching an end game. The Reds submitted a third official bid for the playmaker on Friday made up of £100million plus £13m in add-ons. That would represent a British transfer record, eclipsing the £106.8m Chelsea paid Benfica for Enzo Fernandez in February 2023, but is still short of Leverkusen's asking price. Leverkusen have been holding out for £126.4m from the very start of negotiations, which have been led by Reds sporting director Richard Hughes, but it now seems as though a compromise can finally be reached. The German side have already sold Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool for £29.5m and they have moved a step closer to receiving a major pay day from the Premier League champions. Leverkusen are expecting a fourth and final offer for Wirtz in the next 24 hours – and that they will shake hands for £118m. That is because Liverpool have made it clear that they won't go as high as £126m and Leverkusen don't want to overplay their hand. The club knows that Wirtz has his heart set on moving to Merseyside and that they need to cash in now. Considering Liverpool started out talks with a bid of £85m (€100m), Leverkusen will still be delighted with their business, if it does indeed get concluded. Wirtz, who could earn a whopping £355,000-a-week at Liverpool, is set to play for Germany in the Nations League third-place play-off against France in Stuttgart on Sunday and wants his future sorted soon. He chose Liverpool after holding talks with Bayern Munich and was impressed by the Reds' plans for him. HAVE YOUR SAY! Will Florian Wirtz be a success at Liverpool? Is he worth £118m? Comment below. If Liverpool do finally conclude talks with Leverkusen it will be the culmination of years of hard work. That's because former sporting director - and current Fenway Sports Group chief executive of football - Michael Edwards has been tracking him since 2020, when Wirtz was playing for Koln. Wirtz has been the stand-out player in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons, having helped Leverkusen win the title in 2023/24. The 22-year-old got 15 goals and 16 assists in 45 games across all competitions last season and is ready to leave Germany for a new challenge. Liverpool have money in the bank after a quiet summer before the 2024/25 season in which they brought in just one player: Federico Chiesa. However, with Frimpong signed and deals being negotiated for Wirtz and Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, they know they must sell some players to balance the books. Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott, Andy Robertson and Chiesa are among those who could move on this summer after Caoimhin Kelleher completed his transfer to Brentford for £18m.
