Dalton Rosta responds to Fabian Edwards' PED accusations: 'Blame his sh*t-ass genetics'

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Dalton Rosta finds Fabian Edwards' PED claims amusing. Rosta (11-1) takes on Edwards (15-4) in the middleweight tournament finals Thursday at 2025 PFL World Tournament 10 from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Edwards called Rosta a "juicehead wrestler," but the American Top Team fighter says he's been drug tested an unusual number of times throughout his career and never tested positive. "Everybody thinks I'm on steroids," Rosta told MMA Junkie and other reporters at a pre-fight news conference Tuesday. "Like I said, I don't even f*cking lift weights. I see videos of this guy lifting weights all the time. If I'm a body builder, and I take steroids because I look like this, and I don't lift weights, and he's lifting weights, and he looks like that? I just blame his sh*t-ass genetics or sh*t-ass work ethic. I've never taken a steroid a day in my life, and USADA can attest to that. They've been drug testing the hell out of me. "I went to South Africa for the PFL card down there, as soon as I land, I'm getting drug tested. I just got drug tested a week before that, and they drug test me before and after every fight. I've been drug tested by every commission too before USADA was around whenever I was with Bellator. Mike Mazzulli seems to love to drug test me because every time I fight in Connecticut or somewhere he's commissioning, I get drug tested. It's not random at this point. I don't want to make allegations like that, but at least it doesn't seem like it. I've never failed a drug test, and I think there's a reason why." Rosta then went off on former two-time title challenger Edwards, and plans on crushing his championship dreams. "This guy, he's a gatekeeper," Rosta said. "I told him before, I said to him, 'How does it feel in July to watch two men that beat the sh*t out of you – Johnny Eblen twice and Costello van Steenis once, fight for a title that you'll never touch?' Then I told him, 'I'll do you another favor, Thursday night I'll beat you, and then at the end of the year, you get to watch the same thing over again.' Two guys that beat you fight for a belt you're never going to f*cking touch." This article originally appeared on MMA Junkie: Dalton Rosta responds to 'gatekeeper' Fabian Edwards' PED accusations
