Malaysian Couple Goes Viral With School Bus-Themed Wedding Convoy
Malaysian couple, Huan and Loh, have taken their high school history to their wedding planning in the form of a traditional yellow school bus. Photos from the couple show the pair in their wedding attire atop a yellow school bus, paying homage to their meeting in secondary school.
The lovebirds had met in high school at the age of 14 through a shared club. The pair often participated in school activities together, which made them grow closer as friends. Despite knowing each other in their teens, their romance only started in university.
The groom, Huan, said the idea of opting for a school bus solidified as the couple saw a similar concept online. 'We met in secondary school, so we wanted to bring some campus elements into our wedding', he told reporters. However, securing the perfect bus was no easy feat, as he admitted that it was quite the challenge looking for one that had the right size and feel.
However, their efforts have paid off as the touch of nostalgia proved to add a unique flair to their special day. Not only was their wedding convoy styled in a high school era concept, but the pair was also seen with a reel of them transitioning from school clothes to their wedding attire for their reception.

Both enhancements streamline aircraft arrival and departure routes within the Kuala Lumpur Terminal Manoeuvring Area. This area serves as a critical hub for Malaysian and regional airspace operations. Performance data from May 2025 shows KLIA recorded an 86.54 per cent departure route efficiency. This slightly exceeds the global benchmark of 86.34 per cent for major international airports. Despite a 15 per cent increase in air traffic volume since October 2024, the airport achieved additional improvements. Arrival route efficiency saw a 1.34 per cent enhancement during the same period. CAAM chief executive officer Datuk Captain Norazman Mahmud emphasized the significance of these advancements. These developments demonstrate CAAM's commitment to innovation, safety, and efficiency in Malaysian airspace management. By adopting international best practices and advanced procedures, Malaysia positions itself as a regional leader. Malaysia is establishing itself as a frontrunner in regional air traffic management excellence. CAAM will continue close collaboration with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and airline partners. Seremban family's RM200 flag display for Merdeka competition
SEREMBAN: Jasmin Abu Hassan has turned his Taman Pinggiran Senawang residence into a spectacular display of patriotism using only RM200. The 53-year-old water company supervisor decorated his house with over 150 flags for the 'Rumah Terpaling Merdeka' competition. He received assistance from his wife Rosmaini Mohd Yusof, a 47-year-old kindergarten teacher, throughout the two-week decoration process. Jasmin explained how this year's effort surpassed his previous attempts at festive decoration. 'Last year I only hung flags, but this time I added a special touch by including extra decorations,' he stated. The additional elements included the Negeri Sembilan state flag and portraits of national leaders displayed at his house entrance. 'This year is livelier because there are winners every week,' Jasmin commented about the enhanced competition format. He noted that the decorations have become more creative compared to previous years. 'The children are excited to help,' Jasmin added about family participation in the project. He proudly displayed portraits of all Malaysian Prime Ministers from the first to the current leader. Jasmin achieved the overall runner-up position in last year's competition. The father of six has resided in the neighborhood for twenty-five years. Approximately forty percent of his decorations remain incomplete before the month-end deadline. 'Every week new elements are added, making the neighbourhood livelier,' he remarked. Twenty best-decorated houses will advance to the finals scheduled for September 6. The competition features four judging categories: cheerfulness, arrangement, creativity and neatness. The neighbourhood watch committee has also created a national landmark replica for the celebrations. They constructed miniature KLCC towers using 500 recycled bottles and PVC pipes.
