Gia Giudice Explains Why She's Planning to Move Out of Her Family's New Jersey Home: "It's a Lot"
Gia Giudice could be leaving the nest very soon.
Although she will always be a Jersey girl at heart, the Next Gen NYC cast member said she plans to leave her family's Montville home in the next several months. Why? Well, Gia explained that her increasingly busy work schedule has required frequent commutes from New Jersey to Manhattan, which she found to be 'super exhausting.'
'It's a lot. My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC, which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it,' she recently told Today. 'It's just my career kind of started picking up, and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it's a lot of back and forth from Jersey.'
After graduating from Rutgers University in 2023, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter moved back in with her mom, Teresa Giudice, and stepdad, Luis 'Louie' Ruelas. Gia spoke about her living situation in the March 23 episode of her Casual Chaos podcast, saying she didn't 'have an urgency to move out' of her family's $3.3 million mansion.
'I mean, I have everything I need at home,' she said. 'I know people that stay home until they get married. I make my own money, I do my own thing, but I just don't see the urgency to move out.'
Gia told Today she wanted to start apartment hunting sometime in August and begin the moving process in September. However, the 24-year-old said she has yet to decide where she will live.

'I'm either going to do Manhattan or Jersey City. I'm gonna figure it out,' she said, before revealing her plans to visit her family's abode regularly.
'I'll still spend my weekend at home, maybe every other weekend at home,' she continued. 'I have to see my Bella (her family's dog).'Related: Gia Giudice Reveals Her New Big Career Goal: "Put a Lot of Effort Into This..."
Gia touched on a potential home move in a 2024 episode of her mom's podcast series, Turning the Tables. The Jersey native said she wanted to move in with her longtime boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, rather than live by herself.
'I think you should live on your own first,' Teresa told Gia.
'I do really want to move in with him, eventually,' Gia said. 'What am I going to do, mom? Live on my own? That's going to be so boring. He's literally going to be over every night anyway if I lived on my own."
'I give you my blessing if you want to move in with Christian,' Teresa responded.
Gia reassured her mom she wasn't in any rush to shack up with her beau, saying, "When it happens, it happens."

Dakota Johnson Is ‘Babysitter' To Orlando Bloom's Dog
Orlando Bloom's pet pooch, Biggie Smalls, is one lucky dog. He not only has one of Hollywood's best actors wrapped around his finger but also has actor Dakota Johnson as his 'babysitter,' although temporarily. Biggie Smalls was recently seen resting in Johnson's arms when Bloom was giving an interview on Today. And before anyone knew, the pup hogged the limelight and upstaged the actor with his little barks and adorable look. Orlando Bloom recently visited TODAY's studio on June 9 to talk about his new movies — Prime Video comedy 'Deep Cover' and drama, 'The Cut' with Savannah Guthrie. And the actor was not alone. He bought his fur baby, Biggie Smalls, on the sets. While talking about the films, their conversation was interrupted when Biggie Smalls started barking off-screen. Soon after, Bloom introduced his teacup poodle to the camera, who was resting in Dakota Johnson's arms on a couch. The actor appeared on the show to talk about her upcoming film, 'Materialists,' alongside co-star Chris Evans. Looking at Biggie Smalls's reaction, Bloom joked that the pup was 'looking for attention.' Even Guthrie chimed in and said that the pooch 'has found a new owner.' The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star continued saying that his brown pup 'would never bark' and 'keeps quiet as a mouse.' But maybe the pooch is 'having separation anxiety' looking at his 'Dad' on the other side. And looking at Johnson's gesture, Bloom quipped that she is 'stealing the dog.' However, when the actor bought Biggie Smalls over to Bloom, Johnson said, 'I'm just the babysitter. I'm just the nanny.' Bloom eventually revealed that Biggie Smalls is his 'emotional support animal.' The interview then continued with the actor with the pup 'really enjoying his moment' in front of the camera. And when Craig Melvin asked Johnson about what happened with Biggie Smalls behind the camera during their segment, she replied, 'It's just what I do. I'm here for the people.' Most Followed TikTok Creator in the World Khaby Lame Detained by ICE for Overstaying Visa
Most Followed TikTok Creator in the World Khaby Lame Detained by ICE for Overstaying Visa originally appeared on L.A. Mag. The 25-year-old Senegalese-Italian influencer entered the U.S. on April 30 and departed the country on Friday after being granted a 'voluntary departure' by ICE. According to a statement made to The Guardian by an ICE spokesperson, Lame was held for allegedly overstaying the terms of his visa. Unlike a formal deportation, a voluntary departure allows Lame to return to the U.S. in the future without facing a legal reentry ban. With 162.3 million followers on TikTok, Lame is known for his silent comedy skits, his bio reads 'If u wanna laugh u r in the right place.' In January, he was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Reflecting on his journey, Lame told UNICEF 'from my own experience as a child fearing poverty, struggling to find my passion at school, and losing my job during the COVID-19 pandemic, to finding my place and calling in the world, I know that all children can thrive when they are given a chance and opportunity.' He became an Italian citizen in 2022, during a time of debate within the country over citizenship laws affecting children born in Italy to immigrant parents. As an Italian citizen, Lame was able to be in the U.S. for 90 days before having to apply for a visa. Shortly after arriving in the U.S., Lame appeared at the 2024 Met Gala in New York City as a guest of BOSS. It remains unclear how he spent the remainder of his time in the detainment occurred amid heightened political tensions surrounding immigration enforcement in the U.S. This week alone, ICE conducted multiple raids, prompting widespread protests against the agency and current immigration policies. As of now, Lame has not made any public statements regarding his detainment. His only recent activity online was a photo shared of himself in São Paulo, Brazil released on Monday via Instagram story.
