A man who purchased £600 worth of National Lottery Scratchcards has revealed how much he won on social media. After spending an eye-watering amount of money on 120 Millionaire Maker game cards, Jax took to TikTok to reveal he purchased the pile of £5 cards that offer a 1 in 3.03 chance of winning various cash prizes.
In a video posted to TikTok, Jax said: "I'm about to scratch 120 Millionaire Maker Scratchcards - this could take a while. Let's hope the first one is a winner... the answer to that is no, let's hope there aren't too many more like this."

Halfway through the reveal Jax admitted he had spent £1,100 on scratch cards within two months, he persisted until the end, displaying both piles once again.

In the end, he concluded with a sobering reveal: "So, I spent £600 on these Scratchcards - and the return was £360. That's a loss of £240."
He wrapped up with words of warning, encouraging viewers to steer clear of gambling temptations, adding: "Stay away from the Scratchcards - you think you're going to win, but you're just not. Please don't gamble."
Agreeing with Jax's wisdom, one TikTok user admitted: "They are terrible things. I used to spend at least a tenner per day buying them. Haven't bought one since 1st January. Been putting £10 per day in a tin. Christmas sorted."

Echoing the sentiment, another shared their experience: "I used to work in a Spar shop when I was in uni. Watching people waste hundreds on lottery taught me all I needed to know. Never bought a lottery ticket in my life."
A third person commented: "I've never seen anyone make a profit on a video like this ever, poor man's tax." Meanwhile, a fourth declared: "Same as any gambling, the house always wins."
In contrast, however, one individual chimed in with a positive story, writing: "A family friend won £250,000 a few years back, with his last 4 quid he bought two £2 ones."

Jax's experiments, however, saw him obtain a £420 return from an outlay of £600 worth of scratchcards in March, whereas in April, he recouped £340 after investing £500.
Summing up, Jax has spent a total of £1,700 and won £1,120 - resulting in a net loss of £580.

Jeff Brazier looks downcast as he takes phone call after its revealed son Freddy is living with nan Jackiey amid feud

It now appears the spat may have deeper implications NOT TEE-RIFIC Jeff Brazier looks downcast as he takes phone call after its revealed son Freddy is living with nan Jackiey amid feud JEFF Brazier looked downcast during a phone call after it was revealed that his son Freddy is living with nan Jackiey amid their family feud. The TV presenter, 46, looked tense during a round of golf in Essex on Wednesday. Earlier today, Jeff appeared in low spirits as he hit some golf balls on the course. He was seen pushing his clubs bag around and then stopped to take a phone call in the car park. The ITV star looked deep in conversation during the chat. Advertisement He wore navy trousers, a pale grey zip-up jumper and a Callaway cap with grey and black trainers. Freddy was just four, and his EastEnders actor brother Bobby five, when their mother Jade Goody died from cervical cancer in 2009. The Big Brother legend passed away at the age of 27 with the two boys then raised by their dad. Jackiey and Jeff have clashed several times over the years before The Sun on Sunday revealed that the former Dancing on Ice contestant had taken legal action following concerns for his son's wellbeing. Advertisement It now appears the spat may have deeper implications. Freddy Brazier defies dad Jeff by posting TikTok dance with gran Jackiey after legal action to stop him seeing her After Bobby turned 22 on June 2, a source told us: "Bobby celebrated his birthday with dad Jeff and step mum Kate over the weekend. 'It was a really nice family occasion but everyone really missed Freddie. "He was of course invited but he is making his feelings quite clear at the moment about who he wants to be spending time with. Advertisement "He did acknowledge that Bobby's birthday online but there was some sadness that he wasn't there with his brother." It came shortly after Freddy appeared to take a swipe at Jeff and said: "Home is where the heart is." TIME WITH JACKIEY Earlier this week, we reported how the pair were captured in a dance video. In the clip shared on TikTok, a shirtless Freddy and his grandmother can be seen dancing around in the garden of her South London home. Advertisement The star simply captioned the post with hashtags, writing: '#fyp #explore #freddybrazier #jackieybudden #dancetrend.' Now Freddie has returned to the platform today with Jackiey in a slideshow video captioned: "Why don't we fall in love." He uploaded a series of individual images against the backing track to Amerie's song of the same name. It kicked off with an image showing him and Jackiey, who was donning a black vest top and cargo trousers rolled up to the knee, walking down a cobbled London street. Advertisement Further snaps included ones showing him lying on the grass with a dog and playing football. LEGAL ACTION The new video comes as Freddy's TV presenter dad Jeff Brazier, 46, recently launched legal action to block Jackiey, 68, from seeing him. Despite trying to keep the duo apart, The Mail reports that Freddy spent the last week with his grandmother at her home in Bermondsey. A source told the publication: "Jeff was never going to keep Freddy away from his Nanny for very long – they've always had a strong bond. Advertisement "Jeff may hate her for all sorts of reasons going back many years, but Freddy loves her very much. "They had a great time together, playing with her dog and catching up at her flat – where he has often stayed over the years. "Whatever Jeff hoped to achieve with his legal efforts, it hasn't worked." 9 The TV star looked down in the dumps Credit: Splash Advertisement 9 Jeff was seen practising his golf swing Credit: Splash 9 The ITV competition presenter seemed miles away Credit: Splash 9 Jeff's outing comes after his son Freddy is said to have moved in with his nan Credit: Splash 9 Freddy has been filming TikTok videos with his gran Credit: TikTok/@fredbrazier04 Advertisement

Love Island's Kyle's replacement confirmed as star exits over machete arrest

Love Island have announced a new singleton who will be heading into the villa. It comes just hours after Kyle Ashman was axed from the line-up over a previous arrest. The 23-year-old had been hoping to find love with someone who was "fun, confident and just themselves" on the show, fronted by Maya Jama. But just hours after he was announced, it emerged that he won't be appearing in the villa, just days before the show was due to start. Kyle had previously been arrested and quizzed by police in connection with a violent incident involving a machete earlier this year. No further action was taken by the force against Kyle. Staffordshire Police confirmed that two men were arrested on suspicion of wounding following a fight involving masked individuals and weapons outside a Stafford social club. In a statement, the force said: "We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday 28 February following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. "A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. Both were released with no further action." Kyle has strongly denied having any involvement in the incident. He said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." Meanwhile, ITV told the Mirror: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." Now, the show has confirmed that Conor will instead be looking for love. Speaking about signing up for the show, he said he wanted someone "who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic." The rugby player form Limerick added: "I like dark eyes and I don't mind a dominant woman." Joining Conor will be 29-year-old Sophie who is currently only finding guys who present "red flags." Personal trainer Dejon, who has a very famous dad, is looking for a girlfriend who is "healthy." Meg, a payroll specialist from Southampton, is hoping to find a guy who is very tall and has a nice tan. Elsewhere, Tommy hopes to find a girlfriend who doesn't take herself too seriously. Scottish star Alima wants to find her own Disney Prince Charming. Cabin crew staff Helena, 29, has her sights set on somebody who is "funny or Northern." Musical theatre performer and energy broker Megan, 24, has already gone viral on TikTok, but she wants a guy like Timothée Chalamet. Construction project manager Blu wants a girl who is "family-oriented." Marketing worker Shakira, hailing from Burnley, hopes to find a gym-goer. Semi-professional footballer, model and gold trader Harry, who stands in as a body double for Declan Rice is hoping to meet a girl who isn't the "most obvious."

'I'm like, God, I've never had any work done. 'I drink lots of water. Sabrina's new song Manchild is out today, and announcing it on Instagram she wrote: 'This one's about you.' The lyrics include, 'Inside of your head when you've just won an argument with a man.' I'm sure when we hear the full track, it's going to be pretty punchy. Sabrina's fans jumped all over the post saying it was about Barry, who was accused of cheating on the US star before their relationship ended. Both their camps insisted they'd just grown apart when they broke up in December.
