Cherries to host Wolves in FA Cup fifth round
THE Cherries will host Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
AFC Bournemouth play Wolves in the cup tie which will be played over the weekend of Saturday, March 1, a week after they face each other in the league.
On Saturday, Andoni Iraola's side beat Everton 2-0 in their final visit to Goodison Park before the Toffees move to their new stadium at the Bramley-Moore Dock.
A first half penalty from Antoine Semenyo and a goal two minutes from half time from Daniel Jebbison were the difference on Merseyside, as Bournemouth held off their hosts in the second half to progress to the next round.
This followed a thumping 5-1 win at the Vitality Stadium over West Bromwich Albion in the third round.
Bournemouth have reached the fifth round in consecutive seasons for the first time in their history.
Wolves beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 away from home on Sunday, thanks to goals from Joao Gomes and Matheus Cunha.
That came after they beat Bristol City 2-1 in the third round in January, also away from home.
