'The fans are very important in football, and especially in Sunderland. I came here to fight for them. Celtic ‘give green light to player leaving after agreeing to new demands from European club'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CELTIC have been after a winger or two all summer. But another attacker who has been on the Parkhead periphery is edging closer to the exit. 3 Marco Tilio in action in pre-season for Celtic Credit: Kenny Ramsay 3 Tilio has barely featured for the Hoops Credit: Kenny Ramsay 3 Tilio and Luke McCowan Credit: Getty Reports in Austria suggest the Hoops have "given the green light" to allow Marco Tilio to leave the club. He's been linked with a switch to Rapid Vienna throughout this transfer window and it now seems like the move will go ahead. Kurier claim the terms of the offer have also changed. The deal was originally going to be a loan move, costing around €400,000 (£350,000) with an obligation to buy him after 20 appearances for a seven-figure sum. Now, after weeks of speculation, Rapid have reportedly renegotiated on terms "more favourable" to the Austrian Bundesliga side. They are looking to buy him immediately and Tilio would become at least the 12th player to leave the club this summer. The Australian joined Brendan Rodgers' men two years ago from Melbourne City for around £1.5m. But he has barely featured for the Hoops since signing a five-year deal, playing just 28 minutes of action in green and white. Most of his time at Celtic has been back at his former club Melbourne City. The 23-year-old was back for pre-season and featured for Rodgers' side in pre-season against Estrela Da Amadora and Newcastle Utd but hasn't played any competitive football. Celtic fans would never let their club die says Hoops hero Peter Grant Meanwhile, Celtic remain on the hunt for attacking reinforcements and Michel Ange-Balikwisha is a name that doesn't seem to go away. It's reported that the Hoops have reached an agreement in principle with Antwerp for the winger, but there are complications over the deal. Revealed: New Bayern Munich signing is dating club legend's 17-year-old daughter
Bayern Munich 's new signing Tom Bischof is reportedly dating the daughter of a German footballing legend. The attacking midfielder, 20, made the move to the Bundesliga giants earlier this summer after signing a pre-contract agreement to move from Hoffenheim at the end of his contract. And it seems he's settling into life in Bavaria pretty well, and has even found himself a new girlfriend. Indeed, Bischof is thought to have struck up a romance with the Josefine Scholl, 17, the daughter of former Bayern midfield maestro Mehmet Scholl. The couple have been dating for nearly four months, according to BILD, and were even spotted sharing a steamy kiss together after Bayern's 4-0 friendly victory over Tottenham Hotspur last week. Josefine - an influencer with almost 40,000 Instagram followers - was also in attendance for Bischof's debut in the German Super Cup against VfB Stuttgart at the weekend, during which he came off the bench. In Germany, the age of sexual consent is 14 years old. For Bischof, an attacking midfielder, who better to learn from than his girlfriend's father - an undisputed Bayern Munich legend? Scholl made 469 appearances for the German giants during 17 years in the Bundesliga, scoring an impressive 117 goals. After committing his entire career to the club, he ultimately announced his retirement from the game in 2007, saying farewell to Munich fans on an emotional occasion against Barcelona. The 69,000 fans in attendance held up 'thank you' placards to the club legend, who said on the day: 'It wasn't a forgone conclusion that I'd be picked to play against Barcelona just because it's my last game. I'd like to say a big thank you to Bayern.' Bischof therefore has a huge task on his hands if he's to live up to the standards set, and likely expected, by his partner's father. He's made a promising start to his career nevertheless, having already earnt himself a cap for the German national team at the age of just 20. As would be expected at Bayern nevertheless, Bischof is going to face fierce competition for his place in midfield. The German champions already boast Jamal Musiala, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Konrad Leimer and Aleksander Pavlovic in that position. Bayern Munich sporting director Chrisoph Freund was nevertheless thrilled to have got a deal over the line with Bischof in January, saying: 'Tom is one of Germany's best young players. 'He's already gained a lot of experience at professional level at the age of 19. Tom is the ideal fit to our approach as a midfielder confident on the ball.
