EXCLUSIVE Inside Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy's gruelling rehearsals for Cowboy Carter tour as tickets remain unsold
The 13-year-old prodigy left fans slack-jawed when she showcased her impressive moves – strutting down a runway and whipping her long braids – on the opening night of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour at California 's SoFi Stadium on Monday night.
Daily Mail can reveal she spent hours a day rehearsing for nearly six months with choreographer to the stars, Amari Marshall, all while juggling school.
'She's been around Bey's choreographers since she was a baby which is where she picked up her love of dance,' said our source.
'She has been training with Amari, and they started rehearsing just before Christmas. She rehearsed for six hours a day in between school work and has been watching her mum's videos on YouTube.
'She recently got into the Destiny Fulfilled era. Lose My Breath is one of her favorite videos. She has a newfound respect for how hard Beyoncé works. Her mum is her hero.'
The gruelling training paid off with the crowd erupting as Blue Ivy joined her mum for Formation, America Has a Problem, Deja Vu and Protector – which also saw her seven-year-old sister Rumi take the stage.
'Blue even had a hand in some of the creative direction of this tour,' the source said.
Marshall, 31, known professionally as AmariMonster, praised the young teen hours after her Cowboy Carter debut, claiming 'she is the moment.'
'I am just a vessel and I'm here to spread love,' she wrote alongside a video of the teen. 'Watching her shine in her runway walk made my runway heart sing. I'm so happy I was able to work with her, choreograph her twist and step because SHE IS THE MOMENT. Pls know that walk is allllllll HER.'
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Marshall made her debut in Monsters of Hip Hop before going on to work with Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga. She also worked on Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The choreographer, who is managed by her mum, struck up a relationship with Beyoncé after auditioning to be a dancer for her history-making Coachella headline performances in 2018, landing the gig alongside her sister. Beyoncé later appointed her Co-Dance Captain for her $579million Renaissance Tour.
'You're working for the best and she expects the best out of you,' Marshall told Sherri Shepherd of the 56-date tour last year. 'You've got to be on your game, you've got to be on time, you've got to eat right… we're talking about long hours for every day of the week.'
And there is no special treatment for Blue Ivy, who was put through her paces ahead of her mum's latest tour.
'Bey and Jay were apprehensive about having her in the public eye and only agreed to her request to perform because her grades are good,' said the insider
'She's received no special treatment but some of the choreography was changed so it could be child friendly,' said the insider.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were reportedly 'apprehensive' about her featuring, but eventually agreed to her pleas to take part.
'Bey and Jay were apprehensive about having her in the public eye and only agreed to her request to perform because her grades are good,' said the insider. 'They want a well-rounded kid so performing is as important to them as her grades.'
Their apprehension no doubt stems from the criticism Blue Ivy received after Renaissance which saw her join her mum for songs My Power and Black Parade. A then 11-year-old Blue Ivy was cruelly mocked for her 'underwhelming' and 'uncoordinated' performance, with one critic claiming: 'Just being Beyonce's daughter isn't enough.'
Marshall previously revealed how she would feed Blue Ivy 'positive reinforced affirmations' and would give her a 'thumbs up' as much as she could.
'I always told her as we progress it's going to get better, but we have to stay committed to the rehearsals and to tune out what everybody's saying,' she recalled of their time together during an interview on the Toure Show last year.
'I wanted to always let her know that you have your own identity and your name is your name. Your reputation is yours because you built that even though you come from a Heritage of phenomenal, incredible people you're going to have your own legacy.'
Blue Ivy, who is scheduled to feature in around half of the 32 Cowboy Carter tour dates, made her musical debut on dad Jay-Z's 2012 single Glory, becoming the youngest person in history to ever chart on Billboard.
In 2019, she featured on Beyoncé's Lion King single Brown Skin Girl, which reached No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Last year, she made her big screen debut as the voice of Kiara in Mufasa: The Lion King.
Her latest performance comes four months after she danced with her mum during the halftime show at the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans' Christmas game in December.
Her growing star power, coupled with the outpouring of support for Blue Ivy following the opening night of Cowboy Carter could help to shift tickets.
Beyoncé is struggling compared to her previous stadium tours with swathes of seating still available for upcoming dates this week, many of which are resale.
Despite the speculation, however, the tour's promoter Live Nation confirmed in a statement that the tour is 94 percent sold out across all dates.

Illness has forced UK singer Rag'n'Bone Man to cancel a European tour date hours before he was meant to take to the stage. The singer was forced to pull out of his show in Lithuania, with what has been described as a 'mysterious illness.' The musician is set to perform at a Polish music festival later this month, with no indication if that performance will be cancelled so far. Fans of UK artist Rag'n'Bone Man were left disappointed - and worried - after the singer cancelled a show hours before stage time due to what has been called a 'mysterious illness.' Beyoncé award win leads her closer to achieving the EGOT
The singer adds a brand new award to her already bustling awards cabinet. Sign up to our daily newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! The singer earned a Primetime Emmy award for her Netflix special, Beyoncé Bowl It brings the singer one step closer to EGOT status - so what else does she need to win to complete the feat? Beyoncé has added yet another award to her mantle overnight, but it's a first-time win at the ceremony in question. The singer is set to be awarded the Primetime Emmy award after the Television Academy announced the winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in juried categories on Tuesday for her costume design in her Netflix special Beyoncé Bowl, in the category of Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming. It marks the first time in her career that she has earned an Emmy win. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Beyoncé has claimed a Primetime Emmy award overnight for her Netflix special - her first Emmy award win in her career. | Getty Images/Canva In addition to her victory, the singer also has the chance to pick up two more Emmy awards, as 'Beyoncé Bowl' is nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), where she was nominated as both a performer and executive producer, and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, which she shared with co-director Alex Rudzinski. Beyoncé Bowl was a halftime show on NFL Christmas Gameday in Houston, Texas, which at its peak drew in over 27 million viewers in the United States alone, making it the most-streamed NFL game in history at the time. The win also puts her one step towards earning the coveted EGOT - but what does Beyoncé need to complete that achievement? What is an EGOT? An EGOT is a highly coveted and rare achievement in the entertainment industry. The acronym stands for the four major American awards in performing arts: an Emmy for television, a Grammy for music, an Oscar for film, and a Tony for theatre. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad To become an EGOT winner, an individual must win at least one competitive award from each of these four ceremonies. This "grand slam" of show business has been achieved by only a select few, including notable figures such as Richard Rodgers, Rita Moreno, Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg, and John Legend. What does Beyoncé need to earn the EGOT? With a record-breaking 35 Grammy Awards and now a Primetime Emmy under her belt, Beyoncé only needs two more award wins to complete the EGOT. They would be an Oscar victory, which the singer came close to achieving after 'Be Alive' from the movie 'King Richard' earned a Best Original Song nod, and a Tony Award, which she has yet to receive a nomination for in her career. But at only 43 years of age, there's plenty of time for her to swap the stadium for the stage and potentially earn that Tony nomination. What other pop superstar is one award closer to winning the EGOT than Beyoncé? Check out our article on the other candidate for EGOT success.

Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke is 'overwhelmed and emotionally drained' as she's seen crying in public after wrestling icon's death
Hulk Hogan 's estranged daughter, Brooke, has become 'overwhelmed and emotionally drained' following the WWE icon's death, the Daily Mail can reveal. The wrestling icon suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at the age of 71 last month but, by then, Hogan had gone years without speaking to Brooke, 37. Brooke initially remained silent in the wake of his death, before later taking to social media and demanding an autopsy on his body, as she came to terms with the news. She then held her own memorial for the WWE legend last week after choosing not to attend the funeral with family and friends at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church. Despite their estrangement, the death has taken a huge toll on the 37-year-old - with pictures this week emerging of an emotional Brooke walking through Orlando. Now, a source close to the family has shed light on her situation and told the Daily Mail: 'Brooke is overwhelmed right now with everything. 'She has been receiving a lot more attention than the recent past, her father just died, so things are a bit off the rails right now. 'She hasn't been able to really digest it all. Also, we are days removed from what would have been her father's 72nd birthday. 'She is a very emotional person anyways, but all these things combined have made her have to dig deep in her feelings. She has been crying privately and publicly and it just hits her at different times.' In the days before his passing, WWE superstar Hogan was able to reconcile with his estranged daughter over a 'tearful conversation'. However, Brooke revealed she had felt her father starting to pull away - saying he no longer wanted support or advice from her, despite his health issues. The source continued: 'Her husband and her kids have been such a support system. For all that she has lost, she has realized all that she has and all that she has had. 'She was so close to her father and all the feelings that come from that, especially since they were estranged for a bit before his death has put everything into perspective. 'Nobody is ready for when this happens, but dealing with it in the public eye with arguable one of the most popular people on earth is an interesting thing to go through. This isn't an act in any way, she is emotionally drained.' Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, died on July 24 from a cardiac arrest, according to a Florida medical examiner's office. Brooke announced last week that she had opted to 'privately' honor her father The 71-year-old previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, the report from the District Six Medical Examiner also said. However, despite his previous health issues, Hogan's daughter Brooke took to social media in the days that followed to seemingly accuse the authorities of foul play. She later backtracked from those claims via a social media post but insisted she still wanted 'answers' over her father's death. Meanwhile, Hogan's son-in-law and Brooke's husband, Steven Oleksy, claimed the WWE icon had 'no interest' in meeting Brooke's twins prior to his death. According to People, Oleksy said: 'I sent text messages once again to kind of gauge where he was at, but there was no interest.' Reports back in April claimed that Oleksy had made several failed attempts to 'foster peace' with the wrestling legend. Oleksy continued: 'She [Brooke] was there for every surgery leading up to the last two years. She would fly down on her own dime, take care of her dad, and it just made a lot of sense. 'No one understood his body, procedures, medications and everything else more than my wife,' he said.
