Prince Harry is seeking British education for kids Archie and Lilibet; The Sussexes to move back to UK soon?
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is reportedly 'quite keen' on the idea of his children, Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (4), experiencing part of their education in the United Kingdom and growing up with British education imbued in them.
Though the Sussex family—Harry, along with Meghan Markle and their two kids—continues to reside in Montecito, California, since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 (Re: the Megxit), educational considerations for the kids and recent reconciliation talks (since King Charles' cancer diagnosis) with Buckingham Palace have brought back the speculation about whether Archie and Lili might attend British schooling in the future.
So, here's the big question: Are the Sussexes going to return to the UK soon?
The rumored yearning
Grant Harrold, former personal butler to King Charles III, recently indicated that Harry is keen for Archie and Lilibet to follow in his footsteps by receiving at least part of their education in the UK. Harrold told Study Dog that while both children are enrolled in American schools, Harry is open to them experiencing British education later on.

'It's very likely and completely possible,' he stated. However, he noted that much hinges on the Sussexes' future relationship with the royal family.
The real ground
All that yearning is only good for daydreaming, at least for now.
Despite speculation, sources close to the Sussex camp say they have no intention of moving back to the UK anytime soon. According to PEOPLE, after a July meeting between Meghan and Harry's aides and the Palace communications team, the couple reiterated they're happy with their California life and have no current plans to relocate.
Apparently, the meeting was framed more as an olive branch than a path toward reverse migration.
Besides, the chronic shadow of security (lack of it) and scrutiny (too much of it) always looms.
A major barrier remains the family's diminished security in the UK. Harry lost his appeal this year to reinstate taxpayer-funded protection and has repeatedly voiced fears for his family's safety, citing parallels to his mother's tragic, fatal paparazzi pursuit.
'I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK,' he told the BBC in May, adding that without reliable protection, he would not return.
A royal reconciliation on the cards?
Despite the pressing concern over security and the evidently strained relationships due to a number of rifts, all hope is not lost. In fact, recent reports confirm 'peace talks' in London between representatives from both camps, which seems like a faint hope on the horizon.
However, whether or not 'improved ties' could eventually enable Archie and Lilibet to enroll in UK schools—even briefly—without requiring a permanent family move, remains to be seen.
But what if…?
What if British education really does get chalked out for Archie and Lilibet?
Surely, we haven't forgotten the scenes from The Crown, where schooling quite literally looked like struggling?
If we go by the pattern, if British schooling happens, it's likely to take the form of a boarding school in their teen years or a university education later.
It is no secret that even now, traditional boarding routes remain popular among royals, though not as dominant as before. In fact, Harry attended Ludgrove and Eton, while his father and brother followed traditional university or military paths. Meanwhile, Meghan, for her part, has previously expressed concern over UK school hostage-style drop-offs due to media presence, and the general 'vibe' around the strict and disciplinary British schooling experience, instead of a more relaxed and flexible one in the United States of America.
Although the stringent routine has become way more relaxed now, even amongst the royals. To speak for it, Prince William's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are attending UK day schools like Lambrook. However, Prince George, the heir in line for the throne, is expected to join Eton next year, signaling evolving royal norms in education.
For now, Archie and Lilibet attend local schools near their Montecito home. Meghan has often described building a more traditional, community‑centred upbringing, complete with school playdates, obstacle‑course winter camps, and sunny beach days intact from the glaring paparazzi intrusion. Harry and Meghan are reportedly 'very happy' raising their two children in sunny California, where they emphasize privacy and normalcy.

"I can't stand her (HATE!)...": Times when Donald Trump expressed discontent over Taylor Swift
Donald J Trump has his guns pointed again – and not at policies or establishments – at none other than Taylor Swift . The President of the United States rekindled his hate for the billionaire singer in a social media post, stunning the entire social media. While he took the sharp jab at the celebrity, he also appreciated the 'registered Republican,' Sydney Sweeney . However, August 4 doesn't mark the only time he expressed his discontent over Swift; it's more than one could recall off. Donald Trump expressed his opinions on Taylor Swift The 79-year-old shared a post on his Truth Social handle in support of Sydney Sweeney, who has been making headlines for her controversial ad about 'jeans' and 'genes.' Meanwhile, in an unprecedented move, he said, 'Just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can't stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT. The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. " Donald Trump hates... Earlier this year, Trump took multiple jibes at Taylor, where he claimed that she is no longer alluring after he declared that he hates her. 'Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she's no longer 'HOT?', he said in his post on May 16, 2025. Previously, the President mocked her for getting booed at the packed football game, where she went to cheer her boyfriend, and her presence was constantly shown on the screens. In a post shared on February 9, 2025, he said, 'She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!' About Taylor Swift and her firm beliefs The first time she ever commented on politics and her values was in 2018, when she asked her Tennessee fans not to vote for Republican Marsha Blackburn, whom she called 'Trump in a wig' in her 'Miss Americana' documentary. As a response, he said, 'Let's just say I like Taylor's music about 25% less now, okay?' to the reporters, according to Billboard. Since then, Taylor Swift has openly criticised Trump's policies, urging her millions of American fans not to vote for the Republican. During the 2024 elections, she posted about voting for the Democrat Kamala Harris and received tremendous backlash from Trump's supporters.

Tchaikovsky's ‘Swan Lake' gets an Odissi retelling
Bhubaneswar: A city-based Odissi dance institute, in collaboration with Germany's L`Arte del mondo, organised a teaser production titled 'Indian Swan Lake' here on Wednesday. The production intertwined the timeless beauty of Swan Lake with the Nala and Damayanti story from the epic 'Mahabharata'. "Odisha takes immense pride as its classical dance heritage finds global resonance through Indian Swan Lake, a remarkable confluence of Tchaikovsky's timeless masterpiece and the graceful elegance of Odissi. This cultural collaboration is a testament to Odisha's enduring artistic legacy and its evolving presence on the global stage," chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi said in a social media post. Swan Lake is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76 and is one of the most popular ballets of all time. Blending the story of Swan Lake with the Odia retelling of Nala and Damayanti, the abridged version of Indian Swan Lake portrayed the symbolic grace of the swan, an icon shared in both cultures, through an innovative fusion of western classical ballet and Odissi dance. The performance was jointly directed by European choreographer Deda Christina Colonna and eminent Odissi exponent Dr Aruna Mohanty, while the musical composition featured a harmonious blend of Tchaikovsky's original score with new compositions by Massimiliano Toni, Agnimitra Behera and Dhaneshwar Swain. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Woman sells ring given by ex, then jeweler tells her 'This can't be true' Daily Sport X Undo The work was organised by Werner Ehrhardt, director of L`Arte del mondo, and supported by the Embassy of India in Berlin, Germany, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi.
