Singh, 60, placed the club up for sale in April 2023 but has not managed to get a deal over the line.
The feud between Stelling and the Hartlepool chief appears to have escalated, with Singh writing to league rivals asking for Stelling not to be granted boardroom access at games.
As revealed by talkSPORT, a letter penned by Singh to other National League clubs read: "Dear Club Chair/Secretary, You may be aware from media coverage that Jeff Stelling has resigned as Honorary President of Hartlepool United Football Club.
"As Chairman of Hartlepool United Football Club I would kindly and considerately ask that Mr Stelling is therefore not provided with official HUFC dignitary spaces in your board room or equivalent for any Hartlepool United fixture at your home ground.

"In the unlikely event that Mr Stelling independently attends any Hartlepool United fixture at your home ground, I'd further request that you consider to seat Mr Stelling separately to any HUFC dignitaries or staff.
"Kind regards, Raj Singh Chairman Hartlepool United Football Club."
Hartlepool's local MP Jonathan Brash has also written a letter to National League clubs.
Brash said that he does not share Singh's views, and asked for Stelling to be "afforded the warm welcome and courtesy he rightly deserves whenever Hartlepool United visit your club".

Responding to Brash on X, Stelling wrote: "Jonathan thanks so much for that.

Hartlepool were relegated from the EFL in 2023.
They have since finished 12th and 11th during their two seasons back in the National League.
A consortium headed up by local businesswoman Shirley Hammond has tried to purchase the club from Singh.
Stelling's resignation came in protest at talks between the two parties having stalled.

The Soccer Saturday legend said at the time: "I know this is only an honorary role, but it is the best way I felt I could protest against the treatment of the party trying to take control of the club."
Hartlepool are set to kick off their National League season this Saturday at Yeovil.
They will then host their home season opener against Braintree the following weekend.

Farewell, Darwin Nunez, Liverpool's magnificently ridiculous footballer
©UK Independent In one respect, Darwin Nunez replaced Sadio Mane, in another Roberto Firmino. When he left the Anfield pitch, probably for the last time in a Liverpool shirt, he was replaced by Lewis Koumas. He was given a standing ovation by many, along with a final blast of the chant of 'Nunez', as he came off in Monday's pre-season friendly against Athletic Bilbao's second team. It was a fond farewell, but also an anticlimactic one for the man who, when he joined, arrived with the expectation that comes with being Liverpool's record signing. He had the deceptive debut, when he scored and Manchester City's striking newcomer Erling Haaland did not, in the Community Shield; since then the Uruguayan delivered another 39 goals in competitive games, the Norwegian 124. The comparison was long since abandoned.

It was their first competitive match of the 2025-26 season for the Green Lions. And it was also their first FA Cup match for eight years due to financial troubles. But Tuesday's replay in London did not go ahead as planned. That is because Guernsey admitted there had been an error with the registration of one of their players. However, Guernsey have now confirmed they were booted out of this season's FA Cup. TNT Sports to broadcast opening 2025 FA Community Shield game Another replied: "After all the hype... a real big let down." A third more compassionate supporter added: "Unfortunately, it happens. You can't really blame club admins as all are normally volunteers - it's happened twice to my local club." But a final user wrote: "What a ridiculous mistake to make @GuernseyFC. Obviously haven't learnt anything from watching Jersey's similar mistake last season?" That is in reference to fellow Channel Island side Jersey Bulls being docked three points for fielding a suspended player. The punishment denied Jersey the Combined Counties Premier South league title - but they did still get promoted through the play-offs. The first round proper of this season's FA Cup is on the first weekend of November, with Premier League and Championship clubs entering in the third round in early January. The final takes place at Wembley on May 16, 2026 - with Crystal Palace the current holders after stunning Manchester City in last season's showpiece.
