Allu Arjun is all set to step out of his Pushpa character and enter a new role for Atlee's upcoming film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. With the pre-production of the movie currently underway, the actor has already begun preparing for his character. He is undergoing a physical transformation under the guidance of celebrity fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens. Recently, the latter took to his Instagram handle to share a glimpse of Allu Arjun's workout sessions.
In the picture, Allu Arjun can be seen lying down and clicking a photo of his fitness watch with Lloyd Stevens in the background. The actor's workout stats show he burned 295 kilocalories. His average heart rate during the session was 140 BPM, with a range between 101 and 167 BPM.
The trainer captioned the post, "@alluarjunonline POV."
Take a look at the picture below:
Directed by Atlee, the film is expected to be a visual spectacle, heavily reliant on VFX and mounted on a grand scale. The buzz suggests that Allu Arjun will be seen in a double role for the first time in his career. While there were earlier rumors about a second lead actor, the team has confirmed that the Pushpa actor is the sole lead.
Helping the actor with his physical transformation is the popular celebrity fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens. Known for his expertise in body makeovers, Lloyd has previously worked with stars like Ranveer Singh, Jr NTR (for RRR), and Mahesh Babu. His focus is on building strong and aesthetic physiques for actors preparing for demanding roles.
According to his official website, Lloyd was active in sports like rugby, cricket, and swimming during his school days. He has also worked as a marine technician before switching to the fitness world. Today, he trains several big names in Indian cinema.
AA22xA6 is said to belong to the parallel universe genre, making it a unique addition to Allu Arjun's filmography. With international studios on board, the film is shaping up to be a big-budget entertainer.

Netflix top boss thought Sanjay Leela Bhansali pitched Heeramandi to them to be rejected: 'It almost felt like a dare'

When Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, was greenlit by Netflix, it was hailed as a landmark moment for Indian streaming. Bhansali has the legacy of being Indian cinema's most visually opulent showman. His films are larger-than-life and lavish. Hence, a series on the same scale was unthinkable. In a recent chat, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos revealed that he felt that the filmmaker almost wanted 'no' for an answer when he pitched the show. Speaking on Nikhil Kamath's WTF podcast, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos talked about the scale of Heeramandi and said, 'Heeramandi was probably one of the most creatively interesting projects I've worked on in India. I was involved in the greenlighting meetings for it. He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) came to LA to do the pitch. He came in with this very big vision. Honestly, it almost felt like a dare—like he was saying, 'I dare you to make this; it's so big. He's a legend of cinema, so the idea of him making a TV Show was unheard of. I thought he came for us to say no. And then, when we said yes, there were lots of delays. It was a complicated production.' Announced in 2021, Heeramandi took almost three years to make and produce before it was released on the platform in May 2024. 'He built these enormous, practical sets that we shot on. There was something beautifully old-fashioned about every element of the production. And he was so proud of it. I was so proud of him. To me, Heeramandi is a true reflection of India's deep, enduring love for cinema,' Sarandos added. Heeramandi is a fictional tale set in the famous red light district of Lahore in pre-Partition undivided India. Bhansali had initially conceived the story as a film in 2007. It was later revived as a show in which Bhansali wanted to cast Pakistani actors Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, and Imran Abbas. But those plans had to be shelved due to the virtual ban on Pakistani artists in India after 2016. Heermandi stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, and Taha Shah Badussha.

Sashaying to the Top: Mrs. India Globe 2017, Veena Jain gets candid with TNIE

In the sunny upscale suburb of Palm Springs, California, women from 50 countries around the world gather with the hope of winning the prestigious Mrs. Globe Classique pageant, for women over 45. For over seven years, former beauty queen, Mrs. India Globe 2017, Veena Jain, as the national director of the pageant, has mentored Indian women, preparing them to compete at this international stage. 'Mrs. Globe is the top international beauty pageant in the 'Mrs.' category,' says Jain, who trains participants through all three rounds – national costume, coronation gown, and the swimsuit round, adding that Indian women bring a blend of emotional intelligence, cultural representation, and confidence that is needed in the presentation. 'Our representatives are confident, communicative, and emotionally intelligent. These aren't skills we need to teach; they are embedded in our culture,' she explains, saying, 'We look for someone who is poised, confident, social, and inspiring.' This year, Jain has taken Sharada Narayanan, a city-based fashion entrepreneur, under her wing, describing her as 'the full package, with a strong presence and natural charm.' Narayanan defines herself as a fashion designer, entrepreneur, social changemaker, mother, and spouse. Her journey to the Mrs. Globe stage wasn't easy; it began in the corporate world but an inner pull towards creativity led her to fashion design. 'Colours, fabrics, these fascinated me from a very young age,' says Narayanan, adding that her first time walking the ramp in her own design made her realise she had a side she hadn't explored yet, leading her to open her boutique, Metamorphosis.

Nykaa has big plans for house of brands business

Beauty and personal care retailer Nykaa expects its house of brands business to grow significantly and drive profitability over the next three years, co-founder Adwaita Nayar said. The company is betting on its bouquet of home brands in the cosmetics, personal care and apparel segments to lead the charge. Together, Nykaa's house of brands business across fashion and cosmetics has hit a gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate of ₹2,100 crore, Nayar said in an interview. 'It has more than doubled in size in two years," said Nayar, an executive director on the listed company's board and chief executive officer (CEO) of Nykaa Fashion. Also read | Nykaa to expand rapid delivery service to more metros as quick commerce takes off FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, which operates as Nykaa, has acquired three brands—Dot & Key, Earth Rhythm and GICA brands—and built nine others in-house. 'We've been slowly trying to fill the white spaces. We got brands in make-up—like Nykaa Cosmetics and Kay Beauty. We got brands in skincare like Earth Rhythm. We've slowly started building Wanderlust, which is our bath and body brand. We've just started building our perfume business. We have Indian wear, western wear, lingerie and sportswear," Nayar said. Nykaa has been building its brand capabilities over the last few years by hiring key talent, setting up processes and capabilities, working on the product research and development and distribution, Nayar said. Founded by her mother Falguni Nayar in 2012, Nykaa began as an e-commerce platform to curate beauty and wellness products, eventually expanding into fashion and offline retail to become a prominent omnichannel beauty and lifestyle destination. Also read | Nykaa to continue investing in beauty business to drive customer acquisition Dot & Key, which Nykaa acquired when it had annual sales of ₹40 crore, has grown 14-fold over the last four years. It expects some of its own brands like Nykaa Cosmetics, Kay Beauty, Nykd and Twenty Dresses to lead the charge. Nykaa Cosmetics is a ₹350 crore gross margin merchandise business. 'Slowly, steadily, we want to build great customer brands in each of these," she said. Apart from selling online through its website and app, Nykaa has a network of around 237 stories across 70 cities. For fashion, the company currently relies solely on its online channels and does not have an offline presence, Nayar said. Nykaa's offline business continues to be profitable, driving its overall growth. Long-term bet Another new line of business that the group is expecting to boom over the long term is its Superstore business, where Nykaa acts as a distributor for its own as well as other brands. Currently, the firm has a network of around 270,000 retailers across 1,000 cities. Also read | Can Nykaa's house-of-brands strategy be its next growth driver? 'If the overall beauty business is around $21 billion in India, around $17 billion is offline, of which around $12 billion is unorganized. There is huge potential to grow this B2B (business-to-business) part," Nayar added. On 30 May, FSN E-Commerce Ventures reported a 193% jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹20 crore in the March quarter. The company earned a consolidated net profit of ₹7 crore in the same period a year earlier. Consolidated revenue grew 24% to ₹2,062 crore in Q4, against ₹1,668 crore a year before.
