A new report has provided a significant update on the status of WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan. She suffered a legitimate shoulder injury on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw.
According to PWInsider, Morgan will reportedly require surgery to repair her dislocated shoulder. This news suggests she will be out of action for an extended period.
Details On Liv Morgan Injury
The injury occurred during Morgan's match against Kairi Sane. Just moments into the bout, Morgan landed awkwardly on her shoulder after a leg takedown.
The match was immediately stopped, and she was taken backstage for medical attention. It was announced on the broadcast that she had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Major Storylines In Jeopardy
This injury comes at a very difficult time for Morgan and WWE. She had just kicked off a high-profile feud with the returning Nikki Bella the previous week.
It was widely expected this angle would lead to a marquee match at the upcoming Evolution 2 premium live event. That match, rumored to involve a reunited Bella Twins, is now off the table.

Championship Future And Injury History
As one-half of the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez, the titles will likely need to be vacated. This is also not Morgan's first major shoulder injury, as she missed significant time for a similar issue in 2023.
A specific timeline for her return has not been announced. The length of her absence will depend on the outcome of the surgical procedure.
Summary of Liv Morgan's WWE Accomplishments
Liv Morgan's WWE career is a story of steady growth and perseverance, evolving from a member of a rebellious faction to a multi-time world champion.
Morgan began her career in NXT before debuting on the main roster in 2017 as part of The Riott Squad alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. The group was a fixture on both Raw and SmackDown, establishing Morgan as a key player in the women's division.
Her breakout moment as a singles star came in 2022 when she won the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. She cashed in her contract on the same night, defeating Ronda Rousey to win her first SmackDown Women's Championship (now known as the Women's World Championship), a title she would win for a second time in 2024.
Morgan has also achieved massive success in the tag team division. Teaming with Raquel Rodriguez, she is a record-setting four-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.
In 2024, she became the inaugural WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion by defeating Nia Jax in Saudi Arabia. Her career has been marked by a character evolution that has seen her transform from a fan-favorite underdog into a cunning main event star as a member of The Judgment Day.

Host of UFC personalities appear in new trailer for 'The Naked Gun' reboot
Host of UFC personalities appear in new trailer for 'The Naked Gun' reboot More than 30 years after the character last appeared on the big screen, a legendary cop returns in a few weeks – sort of. Lt. Frank Drebin is back in legacy sequel of "The Naked Gun," but it's as Frank Jr., played by Liam Neeson, and not Leslie Nielsen. The movie arrives in theaters Aug. 1 – and it will have a strong UFC presence, too. For a few quick frames in the new trailer for the film, Neeson can be seen punching out UFC announcer Bruce Buffer and longtime referee and former Bellator analyst John McCarthy while a broadcast team including UFC play-by-play voice Jon Anik and commentator Michael Bisping call the action. "The Naked Gun" will be the fourth film in the franchise. The original was released in 1988, starring Nielsen and Priscilla Presley, and was based on the 1980s police spoof TV series "Police Squad." Two sequels, "The Naked Gun 2 1/2" and "The Naked Gun 33 1/3," were released in 1991 and 1994. The new version stars Neeson as the son of Nielsen's Drebin; Pamela Anderson as his love interest; Paul Walter Houser as Drebin Sr.'s former partner's son; and even WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes. The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer of "Saturday Night Live" and The Lonely Island fame, and counts "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane among its production team. Check out the trailer above. Rikishi delivers incredible rant after Jey Uso WWE Championship loss
The post Rikishi delivers incredible rant after Jey Uso WWE Championship loss appeared first on ClutchPoints. When Gunther successfully recaptured his World Heavyweight Championship in a RAW main event match against Jey Uso, WWE fans the world over knew one person would have something to say on the matter: Rikishi. Advertisement The patriarch of the Fatu wrestling family, with three sons in WWE and counting, the former Headshrinker took to his Off The Top podcast to deliver an absolute rant blasting the promotion's booking, noting that he believes the writers did his son dirty. 'Are we talking about a kid that 16 plus years, that put in work? We talk about a kid that, combined with him and his brother, merchandise sales to the roof as a tag team now breaks off as single competitor. If you can tell me that anybody else is selling any merchandise higher than 'YEET,' I want you to tell me, by all means, generating revenue for the company. What was that saying? 'What's good for business?' Then you have a kid that put his heart and soul, just like everybody else that's out there on the roster, put their heart and soul to get to that main event spot. Finally, when he gets there, you know what I feel? Here's what I feel. I feel that those are writing for this kid his storyline, you didn't do him justice. You didn't feed this champion the right talent to be able to continue to make this champion. Not a fair shot in my eyes,' Rikishi said via Fightful. 'So you go 51 days. I say fire those that are writing for this kid here, if you can't come up with something simple to promote and push your champion, that you, not me, you decide to put this kid in that position, and then that's it. All of a sudden, the brains went cloudy. You can't write, you can't think of an angle for Jey? Well, if you can't do your job, I say [best of luck in your future endeavors]. Get the h*ll out of the way. Put somebody in that position, because the longer you keep the belt on this kid, the longer merchandise sales go through the roof.' Now, as Dave Metlzer pointed out on social media, this decision wasn't any writer's fault, as WWE creative calls come right from the top, but that didn't stop Rikishi from doubling down on his take, noting that his son deserved better for his years of hard work and merch sales. Advertisement 'So now they passed the belt on to Gunther for whatever reason. Hey, I ain't got no beef with Gunther. I ain't got no beef with any of those that are on the roster. I ain't got no beef with that. If I do, I'm going to say it to your face, because that's just the type of man I am,' Rikishi noted. 'But let me back up. Good luck if that's what your choice is to go that way. But let me back up and continue my thoughts on my son as far as his run as the World Champion. I didn't think it was just his. I didn't think it was fair. 51 days, that was it. I mean, Intercontinental belt? A short run, that was it. What is it against my boy? Would you have done that to Randy Orton? Would you have done that to John Cena?' Why did WWE take the belt off of Uso? Well, that might be because they want to run Gunther versus Bill Goldberg on Saturday Night's Main Event as counterprogramming for AEW All In. But that bit of booking info likely won't quell the fire inside of Rikishi, as he feels WWE did his son dirty and might have a point. WWE star Chelsea Green celebrates 10th anniversary of Tough Enough fail
The post WWE star Chelsea Green celebrates 10th anniversary of Tough Enough fail appeared first on ClutchPoints. Sometimes, it takes several opportunities to make it in professional wrestling, as former WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green knows after competing on Tough Enough. Advertisement On Sunday, June 15, 2025, Green celebrated the 10th anniversary of her failed tryout for WWE's Tough Enough reality series. She posted several pictures of herself at the Performance Center as well as a screenshot of a message she posted on Facebook. 'Wow, it has been a VERY long 7 days… I will finally be on my way home from Orlando tomorrow,' her post from June 15, 2015, began. 'I didn't end up making the final cast of Tough Enough. But I've got plenty of amazing opportunities coming up that I can't wait to share!! 'Good luck to the 6 girls that did make the finals. I'm proud of all of them[.] and I will definitely be voting 😉 …and if you decide you aren't Tough Enough, don't worry, I'll step in for ya!' she continued. Advertisement The waiting game would pay off for Green. She would eventually be signed by WWE, joining the company in 2018 before her release in 2021. She would later return to WWE in 2023, and she has become a big part of the women's division. Since joining WWE after her Tough Enough elimination, Chelsea Green has received several high-profile opportunities. She won a tournament to become the inaugural Women's United States Champion, and she recently interviewed Ana de Armas for Ballerina, the new John Wick spin-off movie. Her return occurred at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Green was eliminated within seconds of joining the battle royal by Rhea Ripley. This kickstarted a 'Karen' gimmick that she has perfected, and she is frequently arguing with WWE officials. To win the Women's United States Championship tournament, Green had to go through several big names on the roster. She defeated Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Bayley on her way to the finals. In the finals, she defeated Michin. Advertisement Green would continue to feud with Michin after winning the title. She had several successful title defenses against her before their feud ended. Her reign would last 132 days before dropping the title. Green eventually lost it to Zelina Vega during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown in April 2025. A rematch was held the following month at Saturday Night's Main Event. While Green put up a good fight, she lost, and her nose was injured as well.
