Do you ever just wait after a match, not for the trophy lift, but for the raw, unscripted moments between a player and their close ones?
Just last week, after Tommy Fleetwood's gut-wrenching Travelers loss, a viral video showed his wife, Clare, comforting him with a soft smile and warm hug that said more than words.
In the spotlight was Keegan Bradley, who edged Fleetwood by one shot to claim his 8th PGA Tour title, just when he needed it the most.

While there was no viral clip of his wife, Jillian, stealing the show, one moment that stood out was their sons, Logan and Cooper, sprinting toward Ms. Bradley with replica trophies in hand.
But behind every scene, be it PGA Tour or Ryder Cup, the real MVP (Most Valuable Player) is Jilian, and Keegan made it quite clear during his media appearance at the Rocket Classic.
"Jillian really is everything to our family and to me," Bradley expressed when asked about his wife's role in his life as the Ryder Cup captain.
"She allows me to be the best that I can be. My youngest son Saturday night (before Travlers final round) was sick and throwing up all night—I woke up and had no idea."
He declared, "She's the hero of our family, she's doing an incredible job of being the lady captain."
Then, with a nod to what lies ahead, Bradley added, "She's going to make sure that our guys and the wives are taken care of and ready to do everything we can to win the Ryder Cup".
This isn't the first time Bradley has credited Jillian's behind-the-scenes effort.
Keegan Bradley has talked about wife's efforts more than once
Back in January at the Sentry Tournament, he mentioned bouncing ideas off her while preparing for the season: "I'm thinking a lot, talking with my wife a lot about ideas that
I have, talking to old coaches, old players like that," he told reporters.

The Ryder Cup, set from the 26th to the 28th of September at Bethpage Black, is more than just another tournament for Bradley. After being controversially snubbed in 2023 despite two wins and finishing 11th in the points list, his passion for the event has only intensified.
That fire was also on full display in the viral clip of Netflix's Full Swing, which drew mixed reactions but showed just how much the red, white, and blue mean to him.

Now, as Captain Bradley moves closer to bringing the trophy home, Jillian's role will be pivotal. As "lady captain," she'll be responsible for coordinating the players' families, managing off-course logistics, and ensuring the team's emotional balance, a crucial part of Ryder Cup success.
Currently, Keegan sits at the 9th Ryder Cup standing and is looking for one more win to qualify as the playing captain as he tees up at the Rocket Classic.

'Spider-Man' Director Reveals Why He Quit 'Fantastic Four'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors Not that long ago, instead of Matt Shakman, it was "Spider-Man: No Way Home" director Jon Watts who was set to bring the Fantastic Four to the MCU. Now we finally know why Watts bowed out of "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" - he ran out of gas. Read More: Tobey Maguire 'Spider-Man' Trilogy Re-Releasing in Theaters Speaking at the Mediterranean Film Festival, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Watts fielded questions about his departure from "First Steps". Watts committed to "First Steps" between making "Spider-Man: Far From Home" and "No Way Home," and he said that when it came time to start work on "The Fantastic Four," it occurred to him, "I am out of gas." Watts continued, "The COVID layer on top of making a giant movie layer, I knew I didn't have what it would've taken to make that movie great. I was just out of steam, so I just needed to take some time to recover. Everyone at Marvel totally understood." "They had been through it with me as well, so they knew how hard and draining that experience has been; in the end, very satisfying, but at some point, if you can't do it at the level that you feel like you need to for it to be great, then it's better to not do it." Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach in The Fantastic Four: First Steps Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach in The Fantastic Four: First Steps Disney Particularly because it was being made during the COVID pandemic, Watts said the post-production for "No Way Home" was particularly grueling. "The emotional strain of having to go through all of those COVID protocols while also trying to make something creative while also trying to make sure that your cast and crew were all safe — literally people could've died if you did things wrong — that and the post-production process was very difficult," Watts explained. "When you're doing [visual effects work], there's a whole international component to it where you're using vendors from all over the world, and the supply chain had been interrupted because of COVID. It was really hard to get effects done in a traditional way." Shakman added that it will be a "totally surreal experience" for him to eventually watch "The Fantastic Four: First Steps". "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" releases in theaters July 25. The film is directed by Matt Shakman. It stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, John Malkovich, and Sarah Niles. Woman Adopts Dalmatian Puppy, Quickly Realizes Something Isn't Right
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. When thinking about Dalmatians, one typically thinks of their iconic black spots against their white fur, or the equally iconic movie, 101 Dalmatians, but one dog is making headlines after not sporting the famous markings. When Joselyn Reyes adopted her Dalmatian puppy named Eli back in August, she knew Eli was special. She was the smallest puppy in the litter. With siblings significantly larger than her, the owners at the time needed to feed her separately because her siblings would not leave any food for her, Reyes told Newsweek via email. But aside from the dog's size, Eli stood out as the only one in the litter without black spots that Dalmatians are known to have, despite the parents being both purebred. A Dalmatian's spotted pattern is the most distinctive of all American Kennel Club breeds, as it is found in no others, according to the group. Dalmatians are born solid white. Their spots start forming in around two weeks and can continue developing through the dog's first year. "After seeing the siblings, we did think that she might be the only one without spots because they all had theirs developed," Reyes said. And now, as Eli is over 1 year old, her spots have never come out, except the heart-shaped marking on her pink nose. "She is an unbelievably caring Dalmatian," Reyes said. "She has the best connection with our one-year-old son." Even Reyes' cousin couldn't get enough of Eli's adorable spotless fur. The cousin used Reyes' videos of Eli to share the adorable and unique dog on TikTok. The clip, which was posted to the account @ earlier this week, amassed over 1.5 million views. Joselyn Reyes "I know that for dogs to be considered 100% purebred, they need to meet certain breed standards," Reyes said. "However, Eli is not a competition or breeding dog—she comes from two Dalmatians who also weren't bred with those intentions." Confirming Eli was not mixed with any other dog breed, Reyes said she understands that over generations, certain traits may shift or vary, which led to Eli's special coat. Viewer Reactions TikTok viewers immediately fell in love with Eli, noting the rarity of a Dalmatian with zero spots. "Safe from Cruella," joked one person. A second wrote: "She's got all the spots she needs with the heart on her nose." Another added: "Her momma ran out of ink that's all." Tommy Fleetwood vs. Keegan Bradley at the Travelers Championship Had Big Ryder Cup Energy
Tommy Fleetwood vs. Keegan Bradley at the Travelers Championship Had Big Ryder Cup Energy originally appeared on Athlon Sports. A lot was on the line on Sunday at the Travelers Championship. Tommy Fleetwood was chasing his first PGA Tour title after 41 career top ten finishes without a win. Keegan Bradley was looking for a win and the signature event points that come along with it, which would inch him closer to qualifying outright to play on his own Ryder Cup team this September at Bethpage Black. He would become the first playing Ryder Cup captain since Arnold Palmer last held that role in 1963. Advertisement These two storylines collided in dramatic fashion as the 34 year-old European Ryder Cup veteran and 39 year-old American Ryder Cup Captain teed off together in the final group on Sunday at the Travelers Championship. What started off as the final round of a stroke play tournament quickly started to feel like match play between Fleetwood and Bradley, as noted by commentators during the CBS broadcast of the tournament, especially as the final group made their way down the finishing holes. Keegan Bradley gives a thumbs up at the Travelers Championship golf tournament.© Bill Streicher-Imagn Images 'Mini Ryder Cup moment right now,' explained golf commentator, Frank Nobilo, as chants of 'U.S.A! U.S.A!' erupted from the crowd on the 16th hole following Bradley's tee shot and continued while Fleetwood was getting ready to hit. 'Tommy's experienced that a lot,' Nobilo continued, referring to chants from the opposing team during Ryder Cup matches. Advertisement CBS golf commentator Trevor Immelman even suggested the 'U.S.A.' chants might help Fleetwood, calling out how the Europeans have such a great record at the Ryder Cup and are able to use a fired up crowd to help focus on the shot at hand. The match play moments continued through the 72nd hole, where Bradley was one down with one to play, in match play terms, and delivered a devastating blow to Fleetwood with a clutch birdie, making his putt on top of Fleetwood's missed putt on the exact same line. One thing is for certain, though. If the 2025 Ryder Cup is anything like the exchange between Bradley and Fleetwood in the final round of the Travelers Championship, we're in for a wild ride at Bethpage Black come September.
