‘Big Bang Theory' Alum, 49, Embraces Natural Beauty in Makeup-Free Selfie
Mayim Bialik showed off her natural glow by ditching her makeup on social media.
The Big Bang Theory alum, 49, posted an all-natural selfie via Instagram on Tuesday, July 15. In the image, a smiling Bialik sat in a car wearing brown glasses, a black baseball cap, a black shirt and a silver necklace with Hebrew letters on it.
'Fun fact: my sons' Hebrew initials spell the word מראה which means reflection,' she captioned the photo. 'Thank you Elisa Solomon for this beautiful necklace and for your advocacy.' (Bialik shares sons Miles, 19, and Frederick, 16, with ex-husband Michael Stone, to whom she was married from 2003 to 2013.)
Bialik has been in the limelight since rising to fame as a child star in the late 1980s. Audiences watched her grow up as the titular character on the NBC sitcom Blossom, which aired for five seasons from 1990 to 1995. In adulthood, she enjoyed a career resurgence while portraying neuroscientist Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory for 10 seasons from 2010 to 2019.

In a January 2021 interview with NewBeauty, Bialik revealed the most difficult part of aging in the public eye.
'Everyone examining your wrinkles!' she said with a laugh. 'Having evidence of my youth on video is sobering for sure. I see me at my 'best' and then compare that to the mirror — I can't help it! I am a human! Also, there is a lot of pressure in Hollywood to have procedures done and that can be hard.'
Since The Big Bang Theory ended, Bialik starred on the Fox sitcom Call Me Kat for three seasons from 2021 to 2023, hosted Jeopardy! from 2021 to 2023 and launched her podcast, 'Mayim Bialik's Breakdown' — which is cohosted and executive produced by her boyfriend, Jonathan Cohen — in 2021.
