Indiana Fever's Sophie Cunningham on joining Women of Wrestling: She would 'not not be interested'

INDIANAPOLIS — It's been a massive few weeks for Sophie Cunningham, whose meteoric rise has included new sponsorship deals with Arby's and Ring, and an invite to join Women of Wrestling from Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeannie Buss.
Now the Indiana Fever guard is trying her hand at something new: Podcasting.
Cunningham is teaming up with longtime friend and reality TV star West Wilson of Bravo's Summer House on a new podcast called Show Me Something, the first episode of which dropped Wednesday.
"It's unfiltered and that's something everyone wants to hear about," Cunningham said ahead of Wednesday's game vs. the Phoenix Mercury.
"Nowadays you have to be so filtered and so careful about how you say things. People want real. People want positive things to cling onto," she continued. "It's going to talk about anything and everything. It's going to be somewhere for people to go and have a good laugh and relax. It's nothing serious and I think that fits my vibe."

Cunningham said the show was in the works for "quite some time," it was just a matter of figuring out which company she was going to partner with and who would be her cohost. With respect to the former, Front Office Sports reported Wednesday that the show will be part of Colin Cowherd's The Volume digital media company.
The show will cover a range of topics, Cunningham said, like "the W — the real W," pop culture and travel, but she wants to keep it sports-related.
"That's where I'm at my best and I think I have a pretty good IQ. I know sports pretty well, so why not talk about it unfiltered?" she added. "And then bringing in West Wilson; we grew up together and he's a star on Summer House. The combo has been a hit so far. It's going to be fun."
With regards to the WOW, Cunningham said she hasn't personally talked to anyone with the organization yet, but said (with a smile) she would "not not be interested" in potentially getting involved during the offseason.
Cunningham watched wrestling "religiously" growing up, listing off Goldberg, Kane, the late Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin as the grapplers she followed. She didn't have a favorite, but she was "scared (to death)" of Kane.
"The older I got, I didn't realize how staged it was. I thought it was real when I was little like everyone does," she laughed. "But I think it's fun. Who knows (what the future holds)."

Sophie Cunningham Drops Verbal Nuke on Caitlin Clark Debate

If you don't think Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is the face of the WNBA, her teammate, Sophie Cunningham, has some strong words for you. Cunningham launched the new Show Me Something podcast with Bravo star West Wilson and in the very first episode she went in on anyone who is fighting the idea that Clark is the face of the league or doesn't deserve credit for the WNBA's increased popularity. "When people try to argue that she's not the face of our league or if our league would be where we're at without her, you're dumb as [expletive]," she said. "You're literally dumb as [expletive]." Tell us how you really feel, Sophie! In all seriousness, Cunningham is 100% correct that Clark is the face of the league and is the key cog in the league becoming more popular. Clark's generational talent garnered her a huge fan base during her college days, and that fanbase has very much followed her to the WNBA, which is enjoying a level of success the league has never seen. You need not look further for evidence of that than what transpired during one of Clark's injury stints this season. Back in June, when Clark was dealing with a strained left quad, the ratings for nationally televised games plummeted 55% and nationally televised Fever games dropped 53%, according to Nielsen. For Fever games specifically, there was an average of 1.8 million viewers per nationally televised contest before her injury and just 847,000 on average after it. Cunningham herself is another perfect example of Clark's popularity. After defending the star guard in a game against the Connecticut Sun that saw Clark get poked in the eye and shoved to the ground, Cunningham's social media following and popularity as a whole skyrocketed. Clark's impact is very clear and it's impossible to argue anyone has done more for the league and women's basketball in general in recent Cunningham Drops Verbal Nuke on Caitlin Clark Debate first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 30, 2025

The reality star said his legal first name is not actually CarlNEED TO KNOW Carl Radke is sharing his real first name Speaking with PopViewers on Aug. 8, the Summer House star, 40, revealed that his first name is William and his middle name is Carl "My family — we always, for whatever reason, we always went by your middle name," he explainedCarl Radke is a man of many names. Speaking with PopViewers on Friday, Aug. 8, the Summer House star, 40, revealed that Carl is not his legal first name. "My middle name is Carl," he shared. "My family — we always, for whatever reason, we always went by your middle name. My brother even went by his middle name. But my ID and my passport — my first name is William. So my middle name is Carl, but I've always, since day one, been called Carl." "It's a family thing," he continued. "My mom has a different explanation for it, which I don't understand. But yeah, my full name is William Carl [Radke]." In May, Radke — alongside a group of Bravo bachelors, including Shep Rose, Jesse Solomon, Fraser Olender, Tom Schwartz and Tyson Beckford — spoke with PEOPLE about his dating life, nearly two years after splitting from fiancée and fellow Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard. "I've been dating a little bit, but I've been really focused on work," he shared at the time. According to the reality star, he's still hoping to find "someone who is smart, is good with their family, and likes to be a little silly and giggle." 'I'd like to think that I'm a good listener," Radke told PEOPLE. "I'm very supportive. I show up for my partner. I really want to see them succeed and be successful." Radke also spoke about how his family reacted to watching his heavy makeout session on TV, joking that his mom "would say watching me back was watching me on steroids." "Now I was partying a lot and all that, but I now appreciate how Jesse's friends are saying, 'It's like actually seeing Carl.' I'm a little awkward, I'm a little goofy. My friends are now seeing me, which is, I think, a true compliment," he said. Back in March, Radke teased his forthcoming memoir, titled Cake Eater, which chronicles his journey with sobriety, toxic masculinity, the loss of his brother and more. Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has jokes over WNBA sex toy controversy

The post Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has jokes over WNBA sex toy controversy appeared first on ClutchPoints. WNBA games over the past couple weeks have become victims of a bizarre trend in which fans in multiple arenas across the league have interrupted games by throwing green sex toys on the court. Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham joked about the incidents, but also kept her eye on the larger picture. 'If someone threw that thing and like, first of all the bounce, the bounce that that thing had, if that smacked someone in the face you know that that's going to be plastered everywhere,' she said on her Show Me Something podcast on Tuesday. The first dildo toss occurred in the final minute of the Atlanta Dream's game against the Golden State Valkyries on July 29. With the game tied, officials temporarily halted play as the toy was removed. It happened again on August 1 in Chicago as the Sky were also playing the Valkyries. The league announced on Saturday that the first thrower had been arrested and is subject to 'prosecution by local authorities.' 'I just know how things go viral now and I just know if that thing like even came from like the rafters or bows and just slap me right in the face, I could never,' Cunningham continued. 'That would be what I'd be known for life. So, I was just trying to protect all of our images and yeah, break a f—ing nose. What the hell.' But the Fever guard knows it's not just about getting jokes off — tempted as we all might be. The WNBA has enjoyed meteoric growth over the past half-decade and fans throwing dildos on the court doesn't exactly help the league's public perception. 'Everyone's trying to make sure the W is not a joke and it's taken seriously and then that happens,' Cunningham said. 'I'm like, 'how are we ever going to get taken seriously?''
