The five alleged sexual assaults happened between July 17 and Aug. 3, according to police.
The suspect involved is described as a man between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot with long braids that are sometimes worn in a ponytail.
In a news release, police provided the following details on the assaults.
On July 18, a woman said she was walking her dog at around 6:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of Spruce Street when a suspect approached her and then sexually assaulted her.
The following day, on July 19, a woman said she was trying to get into her apartment building in the 2000 block of Delancey Street at around 3:13 a.m. when a suspect approached her and sexually assaulted her.
Then on Aug. 2, at around 8:15 a.m., a woman was in the 1600 block of Waverly Street when she said a suspect approached her from behind, reached over her shoulder and sexually assaulted her.
The following day, on Aug. 3, a woman said she was walking to her car on the 400 block of South 15th Street at around 1 a.m., when a suspect came up from behind and sexually assaulted her.
Later that day, at 12:30 p.m., a woman said she was unlocking her front door when a suspect walked up from behind and sexually assaulted her.

Teenager convicted of murder over fatal stabbing outside Bedford bus station
A teenager has been convicted of murder following the 'brutal and senseless' stabbing of a 17-year-old boy near Bedford bus station. Thomas Taylor was stabbed to death when he was attacked by a group of teenagers as he walked along Greenhill Street, close to Bedford bus station, at 5.50pm on January 8. On Thursday, Bennett Ndenkeh, 19, was found guilty of the murder after a seven-week trial at Luton Crown Court, Bedfordshire Police said. Riaz Miah, 18, was found not guilty of murder, but convicted of manslaughter in connection with the incident. The police said a group of teenagers launched an attack on Thomas and two others – which escalated when Ndenkeh produced a knife and fatally stabbed Thomas. The court heard Miah had been assaulted by someone linked to Mr Thomas in the days before the stabbing, the force said. On the day he was killed, Mr Thomas exchanged messages with Miah warning against retaliation, before agreeing to meet in the town centre where he was attacked. The gang fled the scene in Greenhill Street, with Ndenkeh taking a taxi while Miah was picked up in a friend's car. Mr Thomas was taken to hospital where he died shortly after arrival. Both Ndenkeh and Miah were arrested within three days of the murder after detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit used CCTV to help identify the teenagers and track their movements leading up to the attack. Suspicious messages on seized devices, included Miah telling someone else who was at the attack to say 'no comment everything' just hours before his arrest, the police said. After the verdict, Detective Chief Inspector Richard Stott, who led the investigation for the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: 'This was a brutal and senseless act of violence that has ended the life of a young man who had so many years and experiences still in front of him and devastated the lives of those who knew him. 'Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. 'It has also drastically altered the path of the two people found guilty today – who are now facing the prospect of spending many of the prime years of their life behind bars. 'The tragic death of Thomas shows the ripple effect that choosing to carry a weapon can have not just on the person who carries one.' Mr Stott added: 'It is a dangerous myth that carrying a knife offers protection or power, as in reality, it only increases the risk of serious harm – both to the person carrying it and to everyone around them. 'We urge anyone thinking of picking up a weapon – or supporting those who do – to think twice, and Just Drop It to help prevent more lives from being needlessly cut short or forever ruined.' Two other teenagers were found not guilty of murder following the trial, and the jury was unable to reach a verdict on a fifth defendant.

Four men jailed after 'industrial scale' cannabis factory busted by police
CRIMINALS who farmed more than £3 million of cannabis in a large-scale drugs factory have been jailed. Four Vietnamese men who worked at the factory, at former commercial premises on Quarry Road in Gomersal were recently jailed at Leeds Crown Court. The men were all found guilty of conspiracy to produce a Class B drug following a trial which began on April 15. Inside the cannabis factory (Image: WYP) The convicted men, all of Quarry Road, were: Hoai Le Thanh, 41, who was sentenced to three years, seven months in prison. Hoa Hoang, 64, who was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Thanh Le, 37, who was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Khang Nguyen, 29, sentenced to 30 months in prison. Police from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) executed a warrant at the former bed factory on Friday July 12, 2024. Officers located cannabis plants worth about £2.4 million inside the building, as well as already cut and prepared cannabis thought to be worth an additional £1 million. The defendants were arrested in the large-scale operation, taken into police custody, and later charged. NPT officers executed the warrant after pulling together various pieces of intelligence about a potential cannabis factory at the location and found a sophisticated hydroponics set up inside. They also found well prepared living quarters established for men operating the farm. Inspector Charlotte Nicholls of the Batley and Spen NPT, said: 'These men were working at a sophisticated operation which was capable of producing cannabis on an industrial scale, and we welcome their conviction and sentencing at court. 'We know that money from drugs production fuels serious organised crime in communities, such as County Lines trafficking and drugs related violent crime, so it is good news that more than £3-million of cannabis produced at this plant was stopped from hitting the streets." She added: ''This large scale case has been, unusually, managed by the neighbourhood team and I would like to give praise to the officer in the case, PC Kalabic, for his hard work and commitment to this complex investigation'. 'I also want to thank partners at the CPS who prosecuted the case at trial, and all those colleagues who worked tirelessly at the site for their hard work and diligence. 'Many thanks also to residents in Batley and Spen who continue to show real community spirit in contacting us with information and intelligence about suspected criminality.'

ICE detainee found hanging by neck in detention facility
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainee died by suicide while in custody after he was found hanging by his neck in the shower room at the Pennsylvania facility where he was being held, according to officials. Chaofeng Ge, a 32-year-old citizen of China in ICE custody, was pronounced dead by the Clearfield County coroner at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to ICE. Ge was found hanging by the neck and unresponsive in the shower room of his detention pod, ICE said. Ge's death was determined to be a suicide after investigators discovered a handwritten note and no foul play was found, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Ge had been in ICE custody for only five days and was awaiting a hearing before the Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review, ICE said. Ge was detained at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. He was arrested in January at a CVS after the store reported him for fraudulently using a credit card to buy gift cards, according to Lower Paxton Township police. "An investigation was initiated, where Ge was found to be in possession of numerous stolen credit card numbers located within his cell phone," police said. Ge was arrested for criminal use of a communication facility, unlawful use of a computer and access device fraud, according to ICE. ICE Philadelphia's Enforcement and Removal Operations York sub-office lodged an immigration detainer with the Dauphin County Prison one day after he was arrested. Ge, who was from Flushing, Queens, pleaded guilty to accessing a device issued to another who did not authorize use and conspiracy to commit the same on July 31, according to ICE, and was sentenced to six to 12 months for each count and granted immediate release to the ICE detainer. He was then taken into ICE custody and transported to the York ICE office for processing, ICE said. The Department of Homeland Security acknowledged in a statement there was an in-custody death at the processing center. 'This morning, one detainee passed away at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center. All in-custody deaths are tragic, taken seriously, and are thoroughly investigated by law enforcement," a senior DHS official told ABC News.
