Amid a steady first few rounds, fans of the programme will see Jeremy Clarkson quiz him on a tough question about Ireland.
In order to bank £16,000, Mike will have to answer the following question - but would you be able to get it right without using any lifelines?
The Sun's exclusive clip shows Jezza asked him: "Which county in the Republic of Ireland is the largest by area, and the most southerly?"
He is then presented with the following options: "Cork, Donegal, Wicklow and Mayo."
It became clear that Mike was struggling to come to any sort of clear basis for an answer.
He said: "I have no idea, so I think this will be one where I ask the audience."
It was then up to the crowd to decide which of the four possible answers they believed to be the correct choice.
However, the results were not clear cut with 51% plumping for Cork but still a rather large percentage of 30 going for Donegal.
Only 6% opted for Wicklow with 13% picking Mayo.
Unsure, Mike then said to Jeremy: "It is a clear majority, but it is not overwhelming.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire contestant loses huge amount of money on tricky tree question
"I have more lifelines, but do I really want to use anymore?
"I'll use the 50/50 please!"
Unhelpfully, Mike is then left with both of the top choices - Cork and Donegal.
Trusting in the audience, Mike decided to play without using any more lifelines and picked Cork as his final answer.
Thankfully, it paid off and is correct and lands him £16,000.
But just how far will Mike get up the Millionaire ladder?
Mike's episode airs Sunday at 8pm on ITV.

Jeremy Clarkson admits he took 'big financial hit' on extortionate farm purchase
Jeremy Clarkson was candid about his decision to sell his whopping £85,000 tractor that featured in Clarkson's Farm season four. The 65-year-old star has been sharing the highs and lows of tending to his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm through his hit Amazon Prime series for four seasons. The tough financial blows farmers can face due to poor weather, controversial legislation, and mounting equipment expenses have been a key feature of the show – and the Grand Tour star is not immune to the same trials and tribulations. It's been reported that he has sold his £85k Lamborghini tractor less than a year after the eye-watering purchase which made a cameo in the fourth season to show off the 48 gears and 188 buttons. After the TV personality was spotted at an auction selling the agricultural machine, one X user @headbug_inc asked: 'You had to let the beast go? No way?! Dude, what happened?' To which Clarkson replied: 'I'm starting to understand that when it comes to farming, you have to be sensible. Took a big financial hit on that tractor as well.' I'm starting to understand that when it comes to farming, you have to be sensible. Took a big financial hit on that tractor as well. — Jeremy Clarkson (@JeremyClarkson) June 11, 2025 Both Clarkson and his co-star Kaleb Cooper were present at the auction on Monday, where the tractor sold. The auction house Cheffins confirmed the expensive machinery sold for £70,500 after 62 bids. Diddly Squat Farm, alongside countless others, saw a huge hit during the season four finale as Clarkson reflected on how '2024 had been an absolute monster' due to poor harvests with record rainfall destroying crops. During the episode, the former Top Gear presenter reiterated that he doesn't rely on his farm for income. 'But even so, it's pretty soul-destroying to work so hard and simply, because of the weather, make a loss,' he added. Just moments later, the episode also added a pointed cameo from Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves. She has been criticised by the farming community for her plans to introduce a 20% inheritance tax on farms worth over £1million. An image of her flashes up for just a moment, and Clarkson also addressed this on X, making his disapproval clear with explicit language. Clarkson's Farm will return for a fifth season which is already being filmed but then plans to take a break only to return if there is a 'bloody good story.' More Trending He added in The Sunday Times: 'Whatever happens we'll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. 'We've been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.' Fears for boyband star as pop icons reveal he'll miss 25th anniversary celebrations – a year after he was last seen
THERE are fears for a boyband star, as the pop icon revealed he'll miss the group's 25th anniversary celebrations, a year after he was last seen. The iconic Irish band kicked off their first ever world tour, Where Dreams Come True Tour, at the Newcastle Arena on February 9, 2001. 5 5 And to mark the special milestone, the lads have launched their 25th anniversary celebrations. But Mark Feehily will be "unable to join the celebrations,' meaning it'll be the other members of the group, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan, to celebrate without him. It's been a year since Mark's last interaction with fans, where he posted a video saying 'Happy pride month everybody.' In February 28, 2024, Mark announced he had to pull out of ALL shows to "fully recover" after undergoing surgery. The star said the "physical demands" of the concerts and extensive travel proved "too much" for him and so he would "temporarily stand down from all Westlife touring". The dad-of-one opened up on his secret surgery hell, telling fans how he's gone under the knife for the fourth time since 2020 after medics found a "very large incisional hernia". During those four years, the Sligo singer battled pneumonia as well as sepsis - a crippling infection that can be fatal. Fellow Westlife band members Nicky, Shane and Kian broke their silence at the time to reveal they "completely respect" dad -of-one Mark's decision. Since it's been announced that Mark won't be on tour with Westlife, the band continued to write: "We hope he can join us back on stage when he is ready and able. He sends his love and positivity to you all as always. Westlife star Brian McFadden shares 'adorable' clip of daughter playing the drums "The four of us can't quite believe it's been 25 years. We could only have dreamt of the continued love and loyalty you have consistently with shown us around the world. "We are so lucky to have all of you with us and we can't wait to celebrate together." In the comments fans were devastated, one person wrote: 'Love you guys... BUT, westlife isn't westlife without Mark. 3 just don't cut it.' A second said: 'I don't know whether to cry with happiness that you're finally coming back for your 25th year anniv or sob at the fact that mark won't be joining you to celebrate it 😭🥺 I'm so overwhelmed…' A third penned: 'Sending a huge love to @markusmoments we really hope that he is ok! We love you Mark! And amazing news boys! We can't wait for all these new things come on our way! Much love!' Someone else echoed: 'What happened to Mark? I remember reading that he was going to have surgery, but that was about two years ago. I'll be hoping and praying for his recovery!' 5 5
