The visitors triumphed 80-19 to maintain their unbeaten record in 2025.

In the two Cape Town southern suburbs derbies on Saturday, Wynberg won 21-10 at SACS, while hosts Rondebosch beat Bishops 28-7.
In Johannesburg, fullback Sicelo Sakawuli scored two tries in St Stithians College's 25-21 win over St John's College. Flyhalf Oliver Wilson kicked two conversions and two penalties for the victorious hosts.

On Wednesday the Stormers updated their socials with what appears to be a new logo, and a new vision. While the Stormers' website revamp is ongoing, the club's latest press release is titled 'In it together: A bold new identity for the DHL Stormers.' A new video promo was uploaded to the Stormers' Facebook and Instagram accounts, aligning with this new tagline and including the new logo. One only had to dip into the comments section however to gauge public sentiment over the new branding. 'Whoever voted for this final design….and signed off on it is laughing in all 11 SA languages,' said one Facebook user. Another wrote 'Someone who passed with 30% must've got a tender to design this logo.'
