Friedkin personally involved in Wesley talks
Flamengo's Wesley is Roma's top priority for the summer. Gian Piero Gasperini has wanted the player for two years and the Friedkins intend to satisfy the coach's demands, writes Corriere dello Sport. The initial idea would be to buy him without help but if that were impossible, the Brazilian would be first signed by Everton and then sent on loan to the Italian club. Advertisement The Flamengo player has already expressed his approval. For Roma this operation would be of vital importance. In fact, the two-year loan with obligation to buy would allow the Brazilian to be accounted for in 2026-27, when he will be outside the limits of the Settlement Agreement. Even for Everton, profits are expected from the operation. In fact, a resale clause could be inserted, and at the moment it would be possible to buy without too many worries because, not playing in European cups, the English club is not included in the Financial Fair Play, and when it does, it will be able to count on an immediate capital gain. It should not be forgotten that the interested party, namely the Friedkin Group, would also gain from it.
