Roma is preparing to sell another element of the offensive department.
Eldor Shomurodov is in fact one step away from a transfer to Istanbul Basaksehir.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the negotiations between the two clubs are now at an advanced stage and should conclude with the formula of a loan with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

The Uzbek striker has already given his assent to the operation, convinced by the proposal presented by the Turkish club.
Now all that remains is to wait for Roma's definitive confirmation of the last offer to proceed with the formalization of the agreement and seal the end of Shomurodov's experience in Giallorossi, which lasted three seasons.
After the sale of Tammy Abraham and that of the Uzbek, Roma will be able to work on the new striker to give to Gian Piero Gasperini.
As for the figures, the Turkish club will pay 3 million euros for Shomurodov's loan with an obligation to buy for a further 3 million if certain conditions are met.
Added to this is a million euros in performance-related bonuses. The agreement also includes a percentage of future resale in favor of Roma.

Germany captain Gwinn out for rest of Euros but no ACL injury

Germany's Giulia Gwinn in action during the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 Group C soccer match between Germany and Poland at the Kybunpark. Sebastian Gollnow/dpa Germany will without their influential captain Giulia Gwinn for the rest of women's Euro 2025 due to a left knee injury, which however is not as serious as initially feared. The national federation DFB on X said that an MRI scan in Zurich on Saturday revealed that Gwinn "suffered a medial collateral ligament injury to her left knee yesterday in the match against Poland. She is expected to be out for several weeks." Advertisement "The next steps will be discussed with all those involved," the DFB added. It was originally feared that the 26-year-old had ruptured a cruciate ligament for the third time in her career. Gwinn suffered the injury in Germany's opening 2-0 victory over Poland on Friday in St Gallen, in a crucial tackle against Poland star Ewa Pajor. She returned after treatment but lay down immediately again and was helped off in tears in the 40th minute. Bayern Munich's Gwinn rupured a cruciate ligament in her right knee in 2020 and in her left knee in 2022, which sidelined her for many months on both occasions. Advertisement Gwinn is considered a key player in the German team which is bidding for a record extending ninth title at the Euros in Switzerland. Their other group stage opponents are Denmark and Sweden. "We all embraced her after the match and wished her luck. The knee is affected. But she also denied a goal. She deserves a lot of credit for that," coach Christian Wück said post-match. Forward Jule Brand said: "Guilia is a very important player. We now hope that it isn't too serious.". Klara Bühl added: "We are all supporting her."
