The event kicks off on August 22 with the annual NHL/NHLPA European Player Media Tour, hosted in Milan for the first time. Around 30–40 NHL players are expected to attend.
The following day, NHL players will visit Serie A club training grounds, interact with footballers, and participate in events that celebrate the shared athleticism between the two sports. That evening, they will attend AC Milan's season opener against Cremonese at San Siro Stadium.

Serie A USA CEO Andy Mitchell called the initiative a 'synergy that showcases the best of each league', while NHLPA's Rob Zepp praised the unique bond shared by elite athletes.
"In North America, both soccer and hockey have incredibly dedicated, passionate fan bases," said Mitchell.
"This collaboration with the NHL and the NHLPA allows us to engage with a global audience in new and exciting ways while celebrating the anticipation surrounding the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
"By bringing Lega Serie A legends and NHL stars together, we aim to create a synergy that showcases the best of each league, creating an unforgettable experience for fans on both sides of the Atlantic."

Wrestling World Championship selection trials: Antim Panghal breezes through in 53kg; Full list of wrestlers selected
Easily the most successful wrestler among the contenders at the World Championship trials, Antim Panghal sealed her berth in the Indian team without much fuss in the women's 53kg weight class. Vaishnavi Patil (65kg) and Manisha Bhanwala (62kg) also qualified with impressive show on Sunday. All of 20 and already a medal winner at the senior Worlds, Asian Games and the Asian Championships, Antim outplayed Madhya Pradesh's Pooja and Gujarat's Hinaben without conceding a point to emerge winner. She had made headlines by becoming the country's first U20 World champion in 2022. She also qualified for the 2024 Paris Games but returned from the Olympics surrounded in controversy. She not only faded on the mat in Paris, but also got in trouble for sending her sister to the Games Village on her accreditation card. The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) contemplated disciplinary action but stopped short. Recently, she wanted to train abroad with her personal coach but WFI shot down the proposal and asked her to train at the national camp. Asked about the tough time she endured after the Paris Olympics, Antim admitted making 'mistakes' but insisted it was solely due to lack of awareness rather than some mischief on her part. 'The federation did not have any issue with me. There was confusion, I also made mistake. I did not realise that it was getting out of hand. Olympics is different from Asian Games and World Championships. I did not know much. 'There was a Games village, which was also there at the Asian Games but we had stayed at a hotel in the Asian Games (Hangzhou), there was confusion, I had never experienced such an environment. There was pressure and I spoilt my bouts due to that,' she said. Antim added that she has been back training and does not take her chances for granted. 'Then I was asked to be at the camp. The federation has been helpful, I was sent to two tournaments where I won gold.' 'I never take things for granted. Bouts can go either way. A few times, I have played into the hands of my rivals instead of following my own style but I have made amends now. I get good sparring partners in 55 and 57kg categories, if not in my 53kg category.' As is her style, Antim stayed aggressive with her tactics during the trials on Sunday at the IG Stadium. Her double-leg attack strategy worked against Pooja and she overpowered Hinaben with right-leg attacks in the final. Antim employed the 'feetlay' at the first opportunity to roll Pooja thrice to race to a 6-0 lead. The move caused a knee injury to her rival, who could not continue after that. While Hinaben fought well against Juli, Antim proved to be a very tough nut to crack, who won the bout by technical superiority. It's largely a young team with only a few 20-plus wrestlers, who have qualified for the Worlds, set to be held in Zagreb from September 13-21. Not many entries were received, making for small-sized draws. Yet, the 65kg class offered some stiff competition in which Maharashtra's Vaishnavi Patil won. Competing against Freedom Yadav, she trailed 0-4 only to win 10-6, while she trumped Muskan 7-2. Vaishnavi's fast movement, solid defence, counter attacks and the ability to turn adverse situation to her advantage worked very well for her. In the 62kg category, only Manisha and Mansi Ahlawat competed and the former prevailed 2-0. The two were largely engaged in standing wrestling. Manisha succeeded in overpowering Mansi, never letting her make her moves. In 72kg, Jyoti erased a huge 0-6 deficit to pip Harshita 11-6 while in 76kg, Priya Malik beat seasoned Kiran 4-2. Ankush (50kg), Nishu (55kg), Tapasya (57kg), Neha (59kg), and Srishti (68kg) were the other winners. World Swimming Championships: McIntosh signs off with four golds; USA tops medal tally
Summer McIntosh capped a brilliant world championships with the 400 metres individual medley (IM) title and a fourth individual gold medal while Leon Marchand roared to victory in the men's event in Singapore on Sunday. The United States set a world record in the women's 4x100 medley relay to win the final title and ensure it topped the medals table with nine golds, one ahead of Australia. France finished third with Canada fourth, all four of their golds won by 18-year-old McIntosh, only the third swimmer to win five individual medals at a world championships, joining Michael Phelps (2007) and Sarah Sjostrom (2019). McIntosh blitzed the field in the 400 IM with a time of 4:25.78, the world record holder coming home more than seven seconds ahead of joint silver medallists Jenna Forrester of Australia and Japan's Mio Narita. China's 12-year-old prodigy Yu Zidi finished just off the podium again having also come fourth in the 200 IM and 200 butterfly. Olympic champion McIntosh's third 400 IM world title added to her 200 IM, 200 butterfly and 400 freestyle golds at the World Aquatics Championships Arena in Singapore, with only the 800 freestyle won by the great Katie Ledecky eluding her. Marchand, dubbed the 'French Phelps', nearly missed the 400 IM final after a slow heat in the morning but was back to his best in the evening, clocking 4:04.73 to finish well clear of Japan's Tomoyuki Matsushita, the Paris Olympics runnerup behind Marchand. It was a stripped-back programme from Paris where Marchand won four individual titles but he made it count with the 200 IM world record on the way to the title earlier in the week. Two years after Tunisia's Ahmed Hafnaoui won the 800 and 1,500 freestyle at the Fukuoka championships, compatriot Ahmed Jaouadi completed the double by winning the 1,500 in 14:34.41 ahead of German Sven Schwarz and American Olympic champion Bobby Finke. Jaouadi shaved nearly nine seconds off his personal best and said it was a struggle. 'I wasn't the only one. My body was in a lot of pain,' he added. 'But through my mind is that I want this medal and I want to win it.' The big names may dominate the headlines but Australian relay stalwart Meg Harris grabbed the spotlight for herself as she won 50 freestyle gold in 24.02 ahead of Chinese duo Wu Qingfeng (24.26) and Cheng Yujie (24.28). The 23-year-old Harris clinched her first individual title on the global stage after sharing two Olympic and five world relay golds in the last four years. No Russian athletes competed at last year's world championships in Doha but the nation's swimmers have racked up medals in Singapore under a neutral flag. Russians were allowed to compete on condition they have not publicly supported the invasion of Ukraine and have no affiliation to the Russian military. Russian swimmers then combined to win a shock gold in the men's 4x100 medley, giving the world record (3:26.78) a huge shake with a time of 3:26.93, a second clear of France. With the U.S. men taking bronze it was up to the nation's women to secure top spot on the medal table in the final event of the night by beating Australia. They did just that and in some style, Regan Smith, Kate Douglass, Gretchen Walsh and Torri Huske combining to set a world record of 3:49.34, improving on the U.S. mark of 3:49.63 set at the Paris Games. World record holder Ruta Meilutyte earlier powered to the 50 breaststroke gold in 29.55, nearly half a second clear of China's Tang Qianting. It was the Lithuanian's fourth successive world title in the event since returning from a two-year ban for anti-doping violations. Retiring American Lilly King, who won the 100 breaststroke at the Rio 2016 Games, bowed out fifth in her last individual event.
