Expanded scholars' meeting in Raymah calls for muslim unity, support for Gaza

Raymah – Saba: Religious scholars and preachers in Raymah governorate held a broad meeting today under the theme: 'The Religious and Human Duty of the Arab and Islamic Nation Toward the Genocide and Starvation in Gaza.' Participants emphasized the urgent need for Muslim unity and standing as one in defense of Gaza, condemning the crimes committed against civilians, particularly women and children, in full view of a complicit and silent world. Speakers highlighted the role of scholars in raising awareness, mobilizing support for the Palestinian people, and resisting efforts to divide or pacify the Islamic world. They stressed that victory and dignity lie in resistance and jihad against aggression by Israel and the U.S. Key outcomes of the meeting included: a call for unified action by Muslim scholars, preachers, and thought leaders to fulfill their duty in exposing the crimes of the Israeli occupation and supporting the oppressed in Gaza. Condemnation of normalization with the Zionist entity, stressing it is religiously prohibited and morally disgraceful. Endorsement of Yemen's military actions in support of Gaza and encouragement for continued mobilization through programs like 'Al-Aqsa Flood.' The statement warned against misleading fatwas and divisive rhetoric that serve Zionist interests and urged solidarity in this decisive battle, which it described as a confrontation between truth and falsehood, Islam and disbelief. In closing, the scholars praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and leadership, reaffirmed support for Gaza, and called on all citizens of Raymah to join mobilization efforts as a moral and religious obligation.
